Hurts when stuff sells that fast. Means you underpriced it. I made that mistake selling my first lot of vintage hats. Sold 80 of them took a offer for 150 in 5 minutes. Second lot I sold 48 of them let them go to auction sold for 280
Back in my Navy days I knew a Barbie that hung out on the corner of Spruence and Base Road. We called her "Street Corner Barbie" Twenty minutes sounds about right.
I live in Corning New York and many of my old family worked for Corning glassware which is where the home of the Pyrex is. Pyrex increased in value not only because it’s of the durability but because Corning glassware, Corning Inc. no longer owns it or makes it. Which drives up the value because you’re not gonna find it anymore but only the old stuff.
All of these 20 areas are solid choices to sell. Old paper is another one. Old photos, engravings, newspapers, and even magazines. There is solid potential value.
Just stumbled across your video. WOW! Great ideas. I have been a touring comedian for years and have thrifted to pass the time. I like sports stuff, toys, CDs and records and books, but I'd never have thought of ties, t-shirts, glassware, sheets and linens or especially hats. I probably have left BIG bucks on the shelves through the years, but now I know. THANK YOU!
You always offer great content! Thank you! I'm doing alot of these. It surprised me how much some things can make. I was also surprised how much my mom's old girdle and vintage lingerie sold for. Harder to find in available market, but if you do, great money!
@1:58 "It's a really high-end Italian brand." Made in France. Couldn't help busting your chops, been watching you since you started. Sold a D&G scarf and beanie for $200 I got from the thrift for $2 myself.
Thank you for doing this video. We started in January with Books, Athletic Apparel, Apple products, tablet cases, baby items, boardgames. We were rated top seller this month. Always looking for new ideas to make more money. Thanks! :)
I've done pretty well flipping stuffed animals/plushies. Most of the time you can find them at a decent price and they are so easy to ship! I've been reselling for a few years now on the side and it can be fun... but so much work! I got my boyfriend into it and he's made two huge sales! One was on Magic cards we found! $20 into $1219 (price after sellers fees). He beat my best sale by a landslide. :)
Nice vid- just back from Willy's with 20+ Aloha shirts and MuuMuu feelin need to expand into electronics just picked up sony dvd vhs watching youtubers for $10 trending at $80-thanks for teaching-"Knowledge is MONEY Baby"
You mentioned linking a book selling link but there is no mention of books in the description. I'd love the book selling 101 course link you in mentioned.
I really I appreciate this video. My only question would be you showed a lot of listing but not a lot of actual sold prices does that change the niches at all?
I'm most excited to flip board games since I have a fat stack sitting collecting dust! Thanks for the video. I appreciate YOU and your time. Keep flippin' !
Luv luv luv ur video but I can’t pay anything to learn more I wish I could so I’ve just got to be a sponge on every free video I can find! Thank u for doing this one!! Kat sent me to u😊
Steve pots and pans, excellent content you have opened my eyes to some of these items that I hadn't sold much of. I find that your content is excellent you're not a braggard and you're very honest! Big USN "Bravo Zulu"!!
Nice, what do you call products that I buy and change a little, than sell, what do we call these products? Say I buy a glass, and paint it, what would this product be called? Thanks
Thanks for the tip about searching sold eBay items by date and price to find items you want to sell. Great way to train up your eye before going out to thrift!
@@Raikenprofit man, I don’t know yet. I’m trying to get started. I have only sold 5 items so far. I’m trying to figure out a good niche. I’ve got like 80 items posted. My seller name is- sdillon4605
Remember everyone. These items he’s showing are FOR SALE. Not the sold price. Also lots of these have “free shipping” attached. Shipping off that glass ware for instance with its weight and dimensions would be expensive. You also have to store it while you wait for someone to buy it. You lose money on shipping and eBay fees/promoting the item and you also have to pay for the items you buy before you flip them. You also have to buy the packaging, printer ink ect. Let’s no forget the petrol, taxes, time spent listing 😂😂
Please explain no one else has what are the fees that eBay charges per sale to join all of their fees I have no idea what to expect as far as pricing and finding out what the fees would be by eBay thanks a lot great show
Hey thanks for this video! I have a small TH-cam channel centered around selling LEGO but I really want to grow to a full time business and expand my knowledge and I know I need to learn to source multiple items so this is great information.
I just want to say that selling records is TOUGH! I once bought a bin full of hundreds of records from the 70s and 80s from an estate sale of a guy who used to work for a radio station. I had the hardest time selling anything beyond Elvis and the Beatles.. and there were some great ones in there: Bob Seger, The Doors, Zeppelin, Van Halen, Hendrix, etc etc. They were all in excellent condition in their original sleeves. I made a very small profit in the end, but I wouldn't do it again, that's for sure. Definitely not saying it's not possible, it probably is, but it's much harder than it sounds.

I wish that I could get into selling books, but I am allergic to the paper dust! They used to call me "Sneezy" in my last job (accounting clerk)! (And allergy meds tend to make me "Sleepy" or "Dizzy". Oops! That last one is not an official dwarf!)

Belts, suspenders, typewriters.

I've sold lots of Harley Davidson. T shirts, stuffed Harley Pigs, Harley eyeglass holders. etc. Also Robert Graham flip cuff shirts, they ALWAYS sell.
Also, on the DVDs, look out for box sets. They can do well.
The ties idea is genius!
Shoes and model trains and toys are my best niches. But I’m in the “anything I can find and flip” niche.
Exactly
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure
21-Mugs, I do love them! I can’t walk by that section without looking for unique mugs!
Thanks for the info...I got a secret keeper plush for $.79 at goodwill and sold it for $100 on less then. 20 minutes
7- Plush can be good but sooooo many to choose from! Great tip to watch for the more expensive ones.
Sleepwear...Nightgowns, House Coats, Robes, Babydolls,Vintage brands do really well. 80 percent of my sells are in this cat.
Books and dvd’s are great.😃. Check out the childern book section as well.
This actually works. I sold some products I get for free at my job and made $100 in a week on eBay. So I'm thinking about making this a living now.
That's great! Keep it up!
I'm a year late, but just discovered you. Very helpful info - thanks!
Hi. Your information and Vinny's about toys helped me sell some toys! Thanks so very much. You inspire me to press on. Be blessed🕊
Great vid. You speak at a good volume. You are easy to understand, but yet, you get to the point. My kind of vids. Keep up the good work.
9- Hats. Some are very cool! And good money!
I haven’t had much luck with ties. I wonder if the pandemic has killed the market bc people are working from home? What do you think, Steve?
I found some vintage disney carnival sheets the other day which I think look sick! nothing too crazy but still cool to find

Thats awesome!! Did you have to get them authenticated?

Hey I'm from CT! Tomorrow & Sunday we have a HUGE tag sale in my area (CT/RI boarder). These people have tons of stuff going for cheap.
Great information! Maybe you have made a video of this already but I would love to see a video on packing fragile items securely with minimal cost.
If you order items online, reuse the packing materials the items come in. I sell on eBay and reuse the materials and also the box itself
Go dumpster diving at any big box store and get their bubble wrap and Styrofoam packing for free.
I love all your beginner videos.
Thanks for the insight. Good content.
