Very informative on a wide category outlook. For me personal I retail arbitrage TOYS as well as buy local TCG card collections. Also owning a junk hauling service, my GF and myself have begun restore antiques and have done quite well selling locally (rent paid for 18months so far furniture sales alone). Looking to get more into the furniture etsy / shipping model of selling to push passed 2k/mo sales to 10k+. With the goal being she can quit her dental insurance cordinator job. Showing the ropes to a friend who wants to get into reselling as well. I made him watch you reseller nirvanna series as kinda a basic idea of what this world is. THANKS!
I turned a sneaker reselling hobby into a business. I resell sneakers I buy from Ross, Burlington, & Marshals. This year I will make more money than I did as a teacher of 17 years. I retired last year and focused on growing my sneaker business. I used your system to build the business. I was patient and stuck to the plan. I’m forecasting a 6 figure salary this year. Thank you!!!!!!
Hello I resell sneakers as well. Haven been for about a month and I’m doing pretty good but inventory is a problem. Any tips to keep inventory coming in that will sell?
Tires sell. Today we sold a spare tire for a Jaguar for $65. Vintage cameras. Yesterday we sold a vintage Sony video camera for $265. 3+ years in and things are just now starting to come together. You really helped get me through. Thanks.
The times we are heading into, Hell yeah. Anything made in China that’s already on mainland USA is bank. Shipping is going to be the nightmare. Bank while you can.
I sell high end collectabless. A lot of repeat business. But it takes a lot of space bc I can't just throw them in a bin. But it's worth it. Just bought a set of very collectable little figurines, that will sell for 125.00 each. To make a little more you have to pay up for some stuff. Just need to keep some capitol on hand to make those buys when you find them. I also have an estsy shop with hand made resin items. And I sell a lot of MCM furniture. I refinish and resell it. But...I want to branch into some other categories. This video was really helpful. Thank you so much!!
I seen a livestream where someone asked you the best kind of jeans to sell on eBay. You told them it was a horrible question and they would never make it with that thought process. Now, here you are giving the exact info the person asked for
Chris, it's 1:30am for me right now and I'm pulling together my tax numbers for my accountant appointment... but I just needed to stop by and say THANK YOU for your spreadsheet. I did this all by myself last year and I remember it taking me about a week (no jokes, like actually 7 days with at least 8 hours a day) to pull it altogether and I banged by head against the wall the whole time. I have a lot more to input but I can already see how much time I saved by using your template. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Wow! I am just getting ready to seriously get into online selling after all of this time. Where can I purchase this template?? It sounds like it would make my life a lot less stressful!! Thanks!!
Wow, you just said the truth about people will pay. I was thinking about what I use and I couldn't go without it. Thanks for the tip. Love your advice.
As eBay changes their strategy, so must us sellers! This was really informative, appreciate the information. I’m still finding calculating shipping and finding the best carrier is a challenge, so I’m trying to focus on that too. Thank you again for another great video!
Binge watched a few of your videos. And will watch more. You sound so reasonable and great info! I’m stuck on “small’s” but making some good pocket cash to save for vacation and hope to grow. Thank you for the great content
I have to say this is really interesting and useful. Because you’re a clothing seller, sometimes the videos aren’t as relevant to myself who doesn’t sell clothing but this was super interesting and opened my eyes to all the categories to try and sell in. Thank you 🤙
I’d like to save this too! Is there a way to do this on TH-cam or would I just screenshot the title and search his channel for it later? I’m technically challenged so thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on all these different subjects within the e-commerce sector. I'm just really getting started and following your advice is keeping me motivated and also SELLING! I made 60 bucks today and I'm just getting started. Thanks again man.
Amazing Personality You Have My Full Attention Every Video...Im Currently At 100 Items And About To Increase inventory.19 Items Sold 10 items were $100 plus sales
Great video I would add that you should learn shipping and be at least in the ball park with size, weight, and distance before jumping in to another category. Clothing for the most part is easy to ship and mostly first class compared to say a Yankee candle or a toaster oven. A lot of people offer free shipping and I know I have bought lots of stuff that a seller lost money on shipping for offering free shipping. Or tried to screw the post office and lie about the size and weight. Don't do that buyer will have to pay difference or refuse the shipment and it gets sent back to you then you have a chance of negative feedback, have to refund the buyer, and then have to pay the postage due so you lost whatever the postage cost you paid THEN whatever the real cost was.
This was a fantastic video. Well rounded. My suggestion is more info on hot specific slam dunks within categories? I know there are hundreds, but maybe something like that.
You did not mention farm or household auctions that advertise antiques and collecibles. I sell antiques and collectibles, everything from glass, pottery, stoneware, to toys, ephemera, jewelry and tools....even some car parts....lol. I love to research what I buy and I can go to an all day auction and buy enough to let me list for weeks and weeks; sometimes the whole month. I started out small on eBay, spending $12 at my first auction, but I was lucky. I bought the contents of a man's junk drawer, so I got belt buckles, key chains, watches, cuff links, lighters, jack knives, etc. I turned that $12 into $120 profit very quickly, having sold just a few items so everything after that was gravy, and I just kept on re-investing. I have been on eBay over 25 years, with detours here and there, owning my own brick and mortar antique mall for 25 years, being a top seller on Ruby Lane for many years (I was in the top 25 sellers in several categories). But I got very sick and trusted an employee who knew what to do, but turned out to be a thief. My advice is to always monitor what your employees are doing. My trust cost me my Ruby Lane store because we had sold a very expensive Bride's Basket and she never shipped it. She told me she did but could not ever come up with a receipt and my post office had no remembrance of her bringing in any packages to ship. There were other items that had sold that she had not shipped either. By the time I got better and realized what had happened, and refunded the buyers, it was too late. Ruby Lane is much less lenient than eBay is. Now I am re-building my eBay store and expect to be in a $1500 to $2000 a month net profit range in the next few months. Not bad for a part time seller. I list 6 new items consistently every day and have two weeks of back up listings in my drafts all ready to go for when life gets in the way. I am concentrating now on buying more and more expensive items so I can list the same number of items a day and make a higher per item profit. Also, with the prevalance of so many auctioneers turning to online auctions I find I can do well on those also. I attend the auction online for about 4 hours, and drive to pick up my purchases the next day unless it is lightweight jewelry and then I can afford to have them ship it to me. I spend the drive time listing and researching so it pays off to have lightweight small items shipped.
I am new to the whole reselling game and stumbled upon your videos and glad i did. Any tips or could you go more into detail for the vintage/antique market??
I’m not a huge sports fan but like to keep up on top stories…. I found a Bronco’s Satin jacket from the 90s and will now be able to profit an extra 20-30bucks hopefully cause they just signed Russell Wilson (Top 5 Qb in League). Always Learning is key to success
Consider talking about comfortable ways to ask family and friends for things they don't want or need. It can be a 5 min video but I'm sure you can provide insight.

Any tips on finding designer good at a good price to make good profit ? I’ve noticed that designer gets crazy attention after a crazy yard sale find of mine. Never had so much traction in an item other than the designer brand clothing I posted
Your video recently scared me. I’ve been grinding away in Womens tops and sticking in my lane. Am I going to have to switch to another one of the 4 categories if I want to survive?
Hi I’m in England and access to newish tops cheap , and bought a lot but they are very slow sellers, 8m going to job lot to clear space , same with new linen summer skirts , it seems everyone is in pants , not worth the space ,
I still prefer to sell vintage clothing in general, but it's hit or miss for sourcing. I found a nice pile of vintage jeans today tough. :P I've been hitting the media thing pretty hard. New media, which is hard to find, sells real well. I shoot to pay around 10% of what I expect to get. I'll do 20% if it's a good seller. Now I don't find many popular electronics in my area, so I would pay more for those.
Did I miss something or find the wrong store because I only seen 8 items sold on your eBay account since January but have 5000+ listed? Normally, that wouldn't be good numbers?
Man I’m really upset. I just got off the phone with eBay. We changed the business and account into my name in May from my mothers business and account. They’re making her pay the entire annual’s years worth of taxes and told me I should make a new eBay account in my name? To avoid this again and they can’t confirm this years taxes will be in my name even though the account has been since May 2021. I’ve been on eBay for 3 almost 4 years and idk what to do. I feel like all my progress was for nothing
Where do I find the site relating to zip code & area I live, where the most prominent items? New to your u-tube channel, thanks for all the great info!
All collectible cards I come across I hoard because I don’t know much about them. I have a lot of sports, magic, Pokémon, etc. are there trusting places or people I can send them to and have them looks at to see what they are worth? I looked into sending them to a baseball grading site but it was a bit pricey.
Do you know of any ways outside of Ebay to sell rare items? I have an extremely valuable beanie babie with a misprint on it listed on ebay. If I knew of a way to find a picker collector who was interested I would go that route. For now I'm leaving it on Ebay.
Gloria Vanderbilt really? Wow a couple of years ago they were a dime a dozen and I passed them up a lot (or bought them for myself just to wear). Alas I’m out of the game for now.
my cousin sells eggs on ebay. hes got all sorts of weird looking birds out there. he just likes playing with the animals, but uses the ebay money to pay for it all.
Your advise is for full boat on ebay sellers small stores who sell things that they dont need or use follow no trend, only sell what they have on stock, all sells over time. But good advise for full on boat sellers, for them to look for these items, plus vintage sells well.
Is this guide useful? What else would you like help on?
This is truly helpful and informative. So many categories I never even thought of.
Hugely beneficial, thank you so much. Subscribed as ur info is gold 😊

This is super helpful. I've been selling on ebay for years and still don't have sustainable income. This gives me alot of ideas.
