Thank you!! Love DeWalt and a huge 12v fan also!!! I can’t wait to see to do a test with the new DeWalt 12v 901and 903.. We finally beat M12 and M18 as far as ft.lbs. They’re little beast!!!!
Great video!!! Would like to see the Dewalt vs Milwaukee since they both beat the Hilti 12v hammer drill. I’m on both battery platforms and would like help in deciding. Thanks and keep up the great work!
@@ManCaverTools Great review. I have this drill and love it. It's my go to now and just love the way it feels in the hand. I find some of the other manufacturer's grips too fat. I also have the screwdriver and I gotta say it's brilliant for installing cabinetry etc.
I as well love 12V tool systems. My first 12V system I started out with was Ridgid's 12V system. It has served me very well and the tools are still going strong! What brand that has a 12V system is your favorite?

Keep up the good work on the reviews your helping me pick what is gonna do the job at hand for best price. I just blew 400 more on tools . I've a small question - was the Hilti torque setting on 13 in these tests? Is it an electronic torque setting rather than mechanical (so it cuts out rather than clicks) ?
There's nothing rattling in the DeWalt. You had the chuck jaws opened - that's perfectly normal and the sound was coming from the chuck. Once you tighten the chuck it goes away.
Man Caver Tools looking forward to that. Maybe u r the only person in the world to review the new Hilti 12v brushless against the competition at this moment !!! Keep us posted !!!
@@noneyawa I would rather replace a tool that has lived a good life rather than struggle with black and decker capability the whole way. Hilt I is good for union shops I guess.
hello, good video. query, hilti shuts down when drilling. It happened to me, but with the sf6h 22 volt, it was the battery because it has a system called cpc, if the battery is 2.6 amper and the battery detects a higher consumption, it turns off to protect the equipment and not burn it again very good the video
@@grandprixuse I don't know if I understood well, my English is not very good, the battery delivers 22 volt constantly, it is measured under load, European test method, that is, when you pull the trigger it always delivers 22 volt, actually 21.8 volt. The 2.6 amp l is the consumption and the battery has a protection system that takes care of the tool, if the consumption for the type of work you are doing exceeds 2.6 it turns off, you can put a battery of 5.2 or 8 amp depending on the work, such as being in a grinder you have to use 5.2 or above, but brake.
@@mhctools that's wrong, voltage sags when under load(pulling the trigger and using the tool), the 2.6ah states that, said battery can discharge at 2.6 amps for an hour, it's about capacity, the cells inside the battery pack can deliver up to 20-22 amps safely without damage or overheating, if the tools is abused and the work is more than the battery can deliver, it becomes unsafe and that's why it cuts off

@ Man Caver Tools, I have the Dewalt 12V Xtreme set, I’m with you, its handles without a problem 90% of what I do. I can’t even feel it in my pouch, I rarely grab the big stuff. I pruned my total property with the recip saw, you have a killer channel, keep up the great work !!!
From my experience, dewalts are a little stronger, but get hot quicker than HiLTi. I changed most of my dewalts for HiLTi and My new tools don’t get hot at all. Trust me on this guys, HiLTi tools are more durable and stay fresh all day
It's nice to live in an age where 12v tools are actually.... FINALLY... smaller than 18v tools and therefore finally worth buying into. The niCAD 12v era left a lot to be desired. Uggh... just.... .. . . ughh.
Drilling concrete/rock with thoose drills is absolutely stupid tho. 1) No matter brand its awful work, takes ages and your hands will hurt. 2) Dewalt might surivie few holes, but as any other is not made for this type of work at all and will brake soon. thanks for saving my time / my pick is now dewalt 12v hand down..
I am glad I can help Victor
The best review,thank sir👍
I thank you Houng
If the hilti has a thermal cut out to protect itself, wont the dewalt just push itself to premature failure.
That’s what happens with dewalts. The dewalts keep on going and slowly eating itself. The hilti has every safety feature possible on the tool market.
yes it does. the battery got too hot and it cut off the tool
Wow Dewalt won against hilti, great review!!!👍👍👍👍👍
I thank you Treehouse

The HILIT was on drill mode. so the clutch settings are bipassed
@@ManCaverTools Ah! Of course. Thanks for the reply.
I really want to go with a 12v line up, what's your opinion, milwaukee or hilti?
Id go with the brand that has the most tools in the line, and that is Milwaukee
I have both hilti and Milwaukee,,you should go with a Milwaukee
There's nothing rattling in the DeWalt. You had the chuck jaws opened - that's perfectly normal and the sound was coming from the chuck. Once you tighten the chuck it goes away.
it sounded like it came from the motor area
Very true. I have a m12 hammer drill and I noticed the rattling as well when nothing is in the chuck. Put a bit in there and no noise.
please test the Milwaukee Fuel 12V, I guess it will be the new winner.
that video is coming soon as well :)

yes it might win from new. but 2 yrs later Hilti will still be running while the Milwaukee at trash dump. It built by the same co as roybie.

Definitely DeWalt it's the winer here.
yes sir, but that would change with different batteries. Dewalt needs to make a 4ah and 6ah
Hilti 12v lineup is honestly a year or two behind everyone else right now
its brushless, but id still use the hilti over dewalt

Man Caver Tools I fell in love with my 12v brushless Makita hammer drill, should try one sometime if you haven’t yet
You didn’t use the Hilti in the full speed chuck setting. You had one or two more gears left to go higher.
the HILIT was on drill mode. so the clutch doesn't work. drill mode overrides the clutch
The 12v hilti only has two gearings.
Dewalt love
Yes sir and I thank you Leonardo
Home depot amazing tool deal makita 36v saw 4 5ah batterys dual charger and bag for 250$!
very good. sounds like a good deal
Should really use something better then a log full of knots, just seems like it's not a fair test
I thank you for viewing Peter
That battery was a 6ah compared to the 3ah dewalt had so of course the battery life was gonna beat it
It was a 2.6ah
The dewalt had a 3ah and the HILTI had 2.6ah. The dewalt had a higher Ah batter then the HILTI did
Why my sticker go by by :(
you don't upload enough. I am sorry bro.
Hilti 🙈 Why?
it would be different if I used a 4ah battery but this test was 2.6ah vs 3ah
Dewalt makes the best drills and makita makes the best impacts
Dewalts power detect is a beast
So does makita beats milwaukee’s impacts?
Definitely, get the HILTI not dewalt
I agree with you on that on Michael
I think Hiltiti is highly overrated, which is just the name.
I think HILTI needs to step up there game a little bit

So for the dewalt haters out there you clearly seen dewalt destroy “prograde commercial” hilti at a third the price.
1/3 of a price? You should check out the prices.
Vojnik JNA ok I didn’t look them up to be exact so it’s 1/2 price
The Dewalt 12v hammer drill cost more then the HILTI 12v hammer drill. The HILTI cost $89 and the Dewalt Cost $110
Man Caver Tools interesting when I looked them up the hilti kit with battery and charger was $229 and the dewalt with battery and charger was $129
