Little tip, if you warm up the cans before spraying with some warm water, they’ll spray a bit better than cold. I’ve painted a couple civics with rattle can myself 😅
I love this series. I painted my car with Rust-Oleum turbo spray cans. Did a lot of wet sanding and polishing after and it came out fantastic. Keep up the hard work.
The paint job came out excellent, with a wet sand/buff n polish it will look like a professional job. Thank you for showing the process in normal speed, I painted a hood in black and it came out terrible but after looking at the way you do it, it’s because I was painting too fast.
Rattle canned my e36 with purple matt, no prep light 320 sand and wipe with alcohol before. I did it outside. Result are really good for drift missle 😅
Just a tip! Im an automotive painter, A lot of colors like a ground coat. it helps the color cover easier and faster, reds and blues specifically. i dont know how far apart the epoxy and paint coats were. painted a Chrysler Tricoat today that used a very light ground coat before the red which also lightens the color! Very impressed with the rattle can! Color looks awesome!
I used to work at Napa and mixed paint for a while , Than started flipping cars and used base coat rattle can with 2k clear after and always looked perfect , Prep is the most important
I’m glad this video is longer if appreciat it if all the videos could be a bit longer I’m sure a few ppl will agree with me😅just really enjoy watching your content Evan keep up the great work🫶🏼
Shoulda used one of those super cans or mega cans---whatever they call em... Like 18" tall, and spectacular coverage. EDIT: OMG the little ones reaction! Awesome, may God bless!
Ive used spray max 2k clear over Rust-Oleum and had pretty good results i canale Rust-Oleum look really good with a wet sand and buff the problem is its really soft porous so dirt and stuff sticks to it really easy and it doesn't last long. But with 2k clear it seems to hold up well.
What a great job you did I’ve done something similar recently previously I used clear coat but it wasn’t 2k when I wet sanded it it looked awful regardless of compound or buffing will it be different with 2k clear coat ?
when i was like 16 i tried rattle can paint my first car and lets just say i would have been floored to see results even half as good as this! looks sweet beautiful color
The whole time I was thinking... One of these companies needs to work with Rustoleum and be able to use their Turbo cans. Those things are insanely efficient 😁👍
People always say you can't achieve good paint results with a rattle can. I made sure I had a thick enough coat, used some basic painting knowledge and just DIY'ed it. Turned out great!
All that work for a rattle can job? Why not just wrap it yellow so it looks perfect love watching the videos but ur the one that said u were gonna step up the quality and finish all your builds the right way looks like a step down
Not sure what's wrong with trying something new? Definitely not half-assing this or dropping quality ❤ Check out the IS300 paint job if you want something else

I knew this was a plastidip thing
you could also put Some forced air in the can itself to Put some more pressure in it
Did this with primer. Left the cans in my car to basically bake for a hour and then got to work.
16:04 she literally has your whole face 🤣. Loved the reaction
Gabriela's reaction was great😊

Awesome job I love the colour! What colours are easier to spray with cans?
The whole time I was thinking...

Much Enjoy. Very Thanks. 🤌🏼
His daily advice for this video is crazy for him to say in my opinion
Needed to hear your message today brotha man
How many coats of Clear did you put on the car and the body kit?
Sweeeeeeeeet!!!!
Hotboxing the painting tent I see

hey evan my clear coat is gone how hard would it be to repair it?
Watching this makes me want to pick up a beater and clean it up
Devin used the same booth. Overspray/dust killed everything and made everything have to be worked on.
Would be cool to see a medal flake on the top
Hey Evan, do you ever think you would mess around with the 1st gen gs300 chassis? JZS147
this is swagy
A white top with white wheels would have looked sick asf
Whats good love the miata even though some people hate on them i want one
I can tell u spent more can then buy shop line paint base coat clear coat or single stage good job thoe
Please wrap the hard top in the carbon fiber product from the 350z.
Heat the can. It makes more pressure and let's the paint flow alot better
Not a fan of yellow but that's a sick shade on that car
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That yellow looks great on a Miata
Been away for a bit. Wasn't that his sister's car?
Yep he start remodeling it bc his sis don't use the car and the car was just sitting
@daniel.m3257 Ah makes sense! Always loved that miata. Thanks for letting me know
Yellow Evo returns as a yellow Miata and I’m not even mad about it
What's the cost
You saving oven at tea tl
Try going wetter! Those little spots are what’s called “dry spray” looks great tho!
Notification squad
+1 for the heat. I use a map gas torch. Gotta be careful with it though. You can repressurize those cans too.
Notification gang!
I know them forearms barking
Your bumpers and side skirt is going to darker than the body of the car. Because you primered the body white and the body kit was gray.
should have got the primer tinted ..grey [rimer will make the yellow look green lol
This is dope
And Jesus loves you ❤️
BRO! YOU NEED A MK2 CHANNEL AND PLUG IT AND WE WILL SLOWLY MIGRATE. YOUR VIEWS ARE FUCKED LET US HELP YOU ❤
Wrong way round, epoxy primer should be what you put on first, filler primer goes on after.
I think it looked way better before you clear coated it.
