If I'm remembering correctly I think they outsourced a fair amount of early s2's animation to a different production studio than usual. Could be wrong though.

Every chapter you will find yourself realizing the villains are mostly right throughout the entire show. Also him playing music to calm the spirit is a spiritual play on sounds making frequency’s and changing your spirit form/body/mind.

one of many criticisms is how the hell does Unalok-vaattuu dark avatar seemingly knows how to do all the bending plus the avatar state? And the concept of the Dark avatar is so dumb
He can just bend water, and the avatar state is control based on the spiritual connection, he said it himself "I'll be no more monster that your own daughter, the only difference is while she can barely recognize her own spiritual power I'LL BE IN COMPLETE ALIGMENT WITH MINE" so that's why he can control so well the avatar state. People who give those criticisms did not pay any attention.

Season 3 is the wildest one of them all, imo. The fact they got Henry Rollins along for it makes it beyond epic.
