The Bravo has m-lok on the sides and bottom of the forearm as well, though admittedly one less on each side. I like the longer forearm on the MDT product, as well as the barricade stop.

I just received mine for a Ruger American Ranch 300BLK rifle I converted to 300 HAMR.
This chassis is an absolute night and day improvement over the plastic trash the rifle came with.

I miss seeing all those Remington 40x br custom shop rifles back in the day.those could be so accurate with carefully assembled handloads.they were the ruger precision rifle of my time.the craftsmanship was incredible for the money

Looks like they took the forend of the Oryx and buttstock design of the KRG.
I am surprised they did not release thismunder the Oryx brand to expand the line.

Great info and detail comparison to the KRG chassis. I see that you have a remington sps installed. Versus the old chassis, did the MDT XRS great change the game for your rifle?
love the stock got to say one down fall for my Howa is l have to put check rest down when l take out bolt but wouldn't stop me buying it. Also like my arca rail system
I agree, and it’s not just Howa. I had to do that with my Rem700 as well.

I Like BOTH stocks, and have stocks from both companies. However your review seemed a little biased. You mentioned the MDT has M-Lok on side and bottom of the stock....so does the KRG! (which you didnt mention) Also, there's a difference in price , which you did mention, but the KRG (less) $150 difference is still $150 difference. The only "real" benefit I see longer 2" fore end of the MDT and the grip change. I feel both are excellent options but if you're going to "compare", dont leave stuff out

Michael Crossman AICS pattern. MDT sells their own, but AI, Accurate Mag, and others also make some.

Hi great video!. One question: did you choose to place the arca rail about an inch forward or is it because the holes in the chassis force you to do so?
That’s just how it lined up. I think that was an Area419 arca rail and I’m not sure it was really made for that chassis, but it worked. lol
I'm a left hander that uses a right handed gun mostly because of the fact that it's what I always used growing up and nowdays it doesn't pay to be a "leftie" if you want anything nice aftermarket anyway. So in short I love the look of this stock and like that it isn't a full chassis system but is it a "no deal" kind of thing with the comb adjustment interferring with cheek weld for a left hander or does the stock ident negate the issue? I've wanted a Bravo for ages but this issue made it a no go.

A little late, but, there are threads on both sides so the knobs can be switched. Plus, some brass tipped set (grub) screws are included as well.
Will they be making an option for the Savage Short action?

Hola Señor. The bergara b14HMR are Remington 700 platform I believe. In that case, they should work in the MDT XRS chassis.
A quick phone call or email to MDT should answer the question though.
Is that the SPS barrel used in this chassis?
I think the KRG is much nicer looking, the $150 price difference is huge too. I believe the MDT’s only advantage may be that it can accommodate more actions than the narrow KRG offerings.

They have an enclosed forend with M-LOK slots on top and an integrated Arca on the bottom that doesn't take height away from the barricade stop. I guess you'd have to add a rail section to the top if you need that, but more extra cost...

This was a factory rem700 sps in .223 with the elftmann trigger.

This review is bias, you clearly misspoke on several points and you don’t even cover most of the KRG options. I own a KRG Bravo and owned the MDT, that should tell you a little something. The Bravo is much more modular that the MDT, you can change out the front or rear of the stock with many of KRG other stock options. The Bravo also comes with a barricade stop and has more mounting options than the MDT. KRG even has a ARCA rail specific for the model as well as mounts for night vision, spigot, and just about anything else you can put on a rail system. The but pad is modular and is fully upgradable as well as the thumb hook, they even have barrel shrouding. As far as being ridged, the KRG and MDT have Aluminum bedding, you cannot flex either without breaking the chassis, that being said the bravo has a better fitment and has more adjustments for magwell fitting making it a better overall design. I sold my MDT chassis two weeks after getting it, visible screws made it look and feel cheap, the Bravo is a clear upgrade at less cost.
And that's why I hate this channel, just brand commercials. Nutnfancy, I'm on my way....

Of course they're slightly different. They wouldn't be able to make exactly the same item. But 100% it's MDT's answer to the Bravo. I'd take the bravo, MDT's design is far too funky. Looks ugly as fuck
