The execution I like most and think is the most brutal is when Talion cuts off his enemy's legs then gives them a couple seconds to try to crawl away, looking like they're about to beg for mercy before Talion just rams his sword through their throat to finish them off. Any grunt that doesn't run away from that deserves to join Talion's army, they got guts of steel

Started playing this game a couple of days ago. The pure combat mechanics and execution methods are what made me stay, because I usually keep it on the safe side of things and play games where you're not as vulnerable and can play without stress. But SoM made a huge impression on me. So fucking glad I let one of the workers at the store I bought it at pick it out for me, or else I'd come home with dissatisfaction.
sadly the BS that went down with the Microtransactions may keep that from happening, sad thing really. SoW had far more potential than SoM but WB game decided to take a shit in the formula and the scars can still be felt today ingame
Personally, I'd only accept a sequel if we got to play as a fully customizable Uruk or Olog captain, with unique gameplay mechanics for each tribe and class

I realized that talion has some brutal/dark executions when he becomes dark and attacks minas morgul but these executions can ONLY be performed in that mission
I would have liked that Talion could have decapitated graugs and caragors because I don't understand why the orcs are the only ones capable of decapitating caragors and we can't xD
My problem is that i cant do decapitation in executions with broken captains or warchiefs i activated brutal aggression skill but nothing changed maybe its related to my lvl im lvl 20 and playing act2
I know this sounds stupid, but in case you havent checked, some captains have the skill "slayer counter", meaning executions only work when you do them from behind
@@konradlamm9243 yeah and death defying also skill means no executions when broken and immune to executions means no execution even if they r broke they only die by multiple melee strikes or ranged attacks
Talion would win pretty much instantly. He singlehandedly fought against Sauron and his army for _years_ all by himself, could be decades. Geralt couldn't do that at all, hell, he barely survives fighting the larger monsters in 1v1 combat while Talion can shred apart Graugs and Drakes and even tame them like they are nothing. Hell, Talion wouldn't have to swing his sword a single time, all he needs to do is let Celembrimbor use that crazy minigun-bow ability and Geralt will immediately get turned into swiss cheese. Or, Talion could just launch a single explosive arrow in Geralt's direction (which travels to its target instantly, you can't even see the arrow in flight) and watch him explode into seared, meaty chunks. In fight against Talion, Geralt is toast. Literal toast. A much more interesting match up against Talion would be fighting against Sekiro since their feats and abilities are relatively similar to each other.

When Talion is prepared to do so, he _never_ ever misses with an execution. He's like a Tiger stalking a hamster in that sense.
