But I refused to leave it there, I didn't want to do a single mission until I had completely destroyed Kruk the avenger. Besides, he was very active at fighting my captains in missions and he always won so it was in my best interest too. He always managed to either kill me, force me into retreat or retreating successfully himself. I think it took me about two weeks to kill him, by the help of poison, my main fuel in the first playthrough. I was both kinda happy and sad, I already missed the time he spent at my right hand man. But the next day he came back, he cheated death and he was now immune to poison, I managed to run away but he killed my bodyguard in the process. I left him to go to Minas Morgul for a mission, and then guess who ambushes me? Kruk, who tells me "I tracked you down for kilometers to kill you, let's end this!" or something like that. The fight lasted for a good ten minutes because I always needed to heal, but at the end I lost. I was waiting for him to kill me like always, and then big surprise... He got killed by an orc who saved me, the mysterious savior Forthog the orc-slayer. Kruk never cheated that death. It was also my first ever encounter with Forthog. He was my best right hand orc and then my worst Nemesis, no other orc was a better match for either of these roles, neither before or after. (If I had managed to recruit him back, I think I would have made him my bodyguard but then managed to never summon him so he stays safe) He was 10-ish when I met him and almost level 40 when he died. A lot of orcs after that one were a lot more powerful but none of them were that much of a trouble, and it also never felt the same with any other Nemesis. My favorite is, “You took back Midus Morgul did yeah. Well don’t go changing the name, I just got used to the new one!” That is just so humanizing, and relatable.
I just finished the game and was going through the codex entries and found that out. Only encountered him once the whole game but it was a pretty cool moment
I still think it’s hilarious that there was an orc my friend kept getting in his game that would never die and was always screaming and eventuallh became a maniac and always popped up when he was fighting other orc captains
I gotta admit the nemesis system was incredibly and increasingly entertaining creating real rivalries that in some cases spanned my entire play through simply due to bad luck or miscalculation on my part. I once had a Chef I could not kill just from general bullshit and my own bungling. I watch that guy from the beginning become one of the most brutal orc warlords with very few weaknesses as he destroyed his rivals under every situation. Felt like a real reoccurring villain in a Saturday morning cartoon. Great game. I really love the insane personalities they developed for this game.
Never encountered him or any variant, I was playing in standard mode at the time so I don't know if I had to be in nemesis mode or if RNG was holding out on me. Or if he is something you only encounter if you've played through Shadow of Mordor.

@@commanderbacara4306 Not exactly sure. I have yet to get him in my save of OVER 60 HOURS! Lol. I believe you can get that away by shaming him enough, though.
One of my followers betrayed me, so we fought and when I stabbed him in his stomach and he was on his knees giving his last speech he said; "Ya know, you shouldn't take the whole betrayal thing to heart. I'm an orc. And orcs do it all the time it's in our nature." And I *almost* let him live to re-recruit him for such a valid point. 😂😂 But I did the quick time event on the "Last Chance" on the last second like "Good point. But nah."
I had a large Orc who apperarently betrayed me I don't know where I found him or anything but he kept hinting to working under me. When he was on his knees he was like "Your the worse boss I've ever had. And all the others were orcs" i was tempted to let him live XD
Most memorable thing an orc said to me was about how he was there when talions wife and child bled out he heard their screams. Crazy how much detail is in this game.
I remember the very first nemesis I had in this game. A Dark Trickster called Tarz Lucky Shot, who killed me four times, even once when we were on the same level. During our last fight he started things off by saying something along the lines of "it's so nice you keep visiting me, my sweet! Let's dance!" And boy did it take some serious focus to finally kill him, especially considering each of his crossbow bolts cursed me. But when I finally won, he just knelt down and said, "Come Close my sweet, let me feel your breath!" Tarz took one final swing at me, which I blocked, before proceeding to cut off his arm before I then chopped him in half. Then a day later I'm dueling a low level completely random captain, when all of a sudden I get tackled by a familiar face, now with an eye patch and hook for a hand "You chopped me in half. The other orcs put me back together, but it was you who made me into what I am." Said Tarz the Machine before nailing me in the head with a cursed crossbow bolt. I immediately tracked him down and after another vicious fight moved in for the killing blow, to which my first nemesis stated, "you may kill me, but the metal is forever." I actually felt a little bad once I decapitated him, definitely a worthy enemy.
For me it was a grunt that managed to kill me while I was fighting a orc captain who was named Garl after he killed me he became Garl the tark slayer who had a mortal weakness to fire so I saw he was by a grog barrel so I shot it and blew it up killing him immediately Later on I was walking through the city when suddenly I hear “hey tark!” And sure enough I see Garl with half his face burned and earning himself the new title Garl “flame of war” and became a legendary captain before he ended up killing me by teaming up with the captain I was fighting We fought each other about ten times every time he called me “little moth” I eventually killed him by stabbing his chest and I thought that was the end of that before I called it for the day Next morning I hop on and I’m leaving the first barrow you enter in the game when suddenly I hear “little mooooooth!!” And I was just like “… no” sure enough my boy garl defied death a second time and had come for my head yet again and being 5 levels ahead of me and I’m so caught off guard he kills me again Well we fought each other a few Times again and on our last battle I thought I was going to die again when I was saved by a gondorian soldier which felt like a insulting end for my greatest nemesis
1:35 It’s led by a two headed troll. Deadly smart. I guess he’d have to be given the two heads😂 Now that’s some insight. And humor as well. Don’t see that every day

I gotta admit the nemesis system was incredibly and increasingly entertaining creating real rivalries that in some cases spanned my entire play through simply due to bad luck or miscalculation on my part. 6:30 Recently deceased Monolith executive producer Michael Forgey.
Great man in and out of game.
"Brightlord, darklord? Same thing really." I am dead.
I remember the very first nemesis I had in this game. A Dark Trickster called Tarz Lucky Shot, who killed me four times, even once when we were on the same level.
During our last fight he started things off by saying something along the lines of "it's so nice you keep visiting me, my sweet! Let's dance!"
And boy did it take some serious focus to finally kill him, especially considering each of his crossbow bolts cursed me. But when I finally won, he just knelt down and said, "Come Close my sweet, let me feel your breath!"
Tarz took one final swing at me, which I blocked, before proceeding to cut off his arm before I then chopped him in half.
Then a day later I'm dueling a low level completely random captain, when all of a sudden I get tackled by a familiar face, now with an eye patch and hook for a hand
"You chopped me in half.
For me it was a grunt that managed to kill me while I was fighting a orc captain who was named Garl
after he killed me he became Garl the tark slayer who had a mortal weakness to fire so I saw he was by a grog barrel so I shot it and blew it up killing him immediately
Later on I was walking through the city when suddenly I hear “hey tark!” And sure enough I see Garl with half his face burned and earning himself the new title Garl “flame of war” and became a legendary captain before he ended up killing me by teaming up with the captain I was fighting
We fought each other about ten times every time he called me “little moth” I eventually killed him by stabbing his chest and I thought that was the end of that before I called it for the day
Next morning I hop on and I’m leaving the first barrow you enter in the game when suddenly I hear “little mooooooth!!” And I was just like “… no” sure enough my boy garl defied death a second time and had come for my head yet again and being 5 levels ahead of me and I’m so caught off guard he kills me again
Well we fought each other a few Times again and on our last battle I thought I was going to die again when I was saved by a gondorian soldier which felt like a insulting end for my greatest nemesis
8:24 "Maybe the problem is with you"
Why when you say that i look at his face, he kina Looks like one xD
