If anyone is interested in coop plans the greatest results that i've ever had was by following the coop magic tactic (just google it) without a doubt the best info that I have ever followed.
I've watched quite a few of your videos lately and I'm just saying... Your wife sounds like an amazing person 😂 She loves weird quirks in your fish and that's so cool. You guys are awesome!
This is one of my fav AqCoop videos, have revisited several times, could very well be responsible for my MTS. On the verge of setting up 1st garden pond summer2019.
Love the new intro, Cory. That scene with the wasp was hilarious! My wife and I were cracking up watching it crawl all over the bug zapper. The new 50 gallon tank looks awesome. Great footprint.
Great video on the Longfin white cloud Minnows. I knew you had video on these guys. happy I found it.. :) Nice bug zapper clip. Night videos of stuff like that are hard to get... it's like trying to get a picture of lightning at night. lol
Hi there! It's my birthday tomorrow and im gojng to be 13! WOOT WOOT! My Dad purchased me a 64 liter tank with filter etc and it's my biggest tank yet! Im so excited to set it up!
For a split second, I thought he thumbnail was a skillet with green onions in it. And then I saw the title of the video, and I thought Cory had started to cook his baby fry and eat them. 😂🤷🏻♂️
These videos never get old. keep up the good work man. your fish room is looking awesome. I'm excited to see those 50 gallon tanks with the massive foot print. Those are ultimate frag tanks in the saltwater world ;)
that big flat tank would be a wickid base for a fish tank coffee table, wack a glass top on, fill it with corydoras and plecos for an awesome top down view of some bottom dwellers.
Great video Cory! Just now get into mountain cloud minnows, after being in the hobby for years. I purchased from Petco on sale, 5 for $5. Going to try to breed them in my 10 gallon planted aquarium I use as a quarantine. I hope to breed them. Great info & so much fun to watch! Thank you!! ❤🎏❤🐠🐟🐠❤🎏❤
If I succeed in breeding, I will add them to my 120g community aquarium. Would love to have some in tubs outside during warmer months! Thanks again for sharing! Jesus loves you!
I enjoyed the video. As you mentioned, the bug zapper is indiscriminate and kills beneficial insects and very few mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are attracted to Co2 and not lights.
I ordered a stingray from you on Sunday, got the email at work saying it was delivered today. I was so excited to get home and slap her on the tank only to find...an awesome fish room video! I can't wait to move up there at the end of the year and drop some dough in person!
Seen that tank at the aca recently it's really nice tank I was hoping my lfs can get some also i wouldn't mind swapping some 55 gallons for that footprint
Haha your funny love watching your vids even tho its not dedicated to shrimps, aquascaping &plants70% of time, i still love it. Still will sit there, watch to very end..
Hey Cory, I see a light switch of some sort on the outside wall to the left of the door. you can install a duel switch and GFI outlet there. Electrical line can be split to supply both power leads. you can find many how to videos on TH-cam.
The mosquitos will land in the water anyway because that's where they lay eggs. Usually the bugs stick to the zapper. I would be to afraid if it gets windy or storms, the zapper may drop into the pond and kill all the fish.
I'm not sure if I should be using it but for the really fine stuff that the filter refuses to pick up I've been using "Acurel-F" for over 20 years and even though it's only for freshwater fish, it's been the best thing for clearing off all that fine stuff you're talking about on this tank. according to the bottle I should be using a drop a gallon but to clear up my tanks from extra fine trash all the way up to clearing off a bacterial bloom I've used a drop for every ten to twenty gallons and it gets my tanks crystal clear to the point where I can read the comics from one side of my six foot wide tank to the other. I was going to ask you about it a long time ago because I've never heard you mention it in any of your videos over the years so I thought there might be a reason why, but I always forget about it, but now that you bring up "extra fine mechanical filtration" I figured I'd ask about it before I forget about it again. Have you ever heard of it and what do you think of it?
Hi Cory great video. The 50 Gallon tanks might weigh to much but could you put them on rollers like drawers. Then you could role them out to look at each tank really well and you would need less gap in between tanks?
Dat bass loop at the intro tho... Funky... lol Awesome video! The new editing is sweet! Glad to finally get a good look the pond, too! That bug zapper is too cool! Maybe you could try a swirl filter for the goldfish tank.
The 50 gallon lowboy would be great for grooming fancy goldfish. That large surface area is perfect for growing out ranchu and the depth would promote wen growth in young orandas.
Hey Cory, well there are varying opinions out there about this but one school of thought is that the shallow depth may contribute to increase in skull size and wen development in ranchu, Lionheads and orandas because there is less pressure on the young fish in shallow water. I haven't been able to test this theory myself but combined with good nutrition and water quality it kind of makes sense to me. I'd love to grow out a batch of fry with half in a shallow set up and the other half in a 40 gallon breeder and see if it made a difference. Either way, that 50 gal lowboy is pretty cool.
I've commented in past live streams about my white cloud pond and trying to get them to breed. The pond it's self isn't very big in fact all it is is a kiddie pool from Walmart. Anyway the minnows aren't breeding and you mentioned temp. Anyway I took a temp reading this morning and tonight. It was 66 degrees in the morning and 75 in the evening. I was surprised to see this big of a fluctuation. Could this be why they aren't breeding?
+Aquarium Co-Op no. I removed that power head. I have a fluval 204 canister with a sponge over the intake so no fry and get through. I also have it on a low flow setting. I tried a sponge filter in there but the pond was to shallow as its only around 6-8 inches deep
I have a 6 sided tank i bought for $45 which is about 30 gallons or so im a new keeper and dont want to mess up my fish but its a tall tank with a stand (about 2ft high) any ideas?
I need to do this with my white clounds, and I feed my gold fish the small insects from our bug zapper, I have honestly though about pulverizing a mixture and making a paste that I can mix with duck weed, cucumber and peas. just to see if it would be good for my fish.
Food for thought here. Mosquitoes feed more often 30 minutes to an hour before dawn and the same time before dusk so include that time in your timer settings. Also make sure the zapper can't fall or be blown off the hook you have it on. Electricity and water dude. Other than that I think it's a cool idea. :D
Do you happen to know what your outdoor tub's water temperatures are for a 24hr period? I am considering raising white cloud mountain minnows in a container pond but I'm worried the fish won't survive the fluctuating water temps. Where I live, the summer night time temperatures drop down to 10c. In the daytime the temperature is normally 20+c.
Why have you not looked at N, American fishes ??? They are AMAZING !!! It would be great if you would set up a few tanks of the beautiful array of of species !!!
Why was the water green ?! And I started watching you today I've subscribed and you've made me want to start a fish store since I'm still young I have to wait but I can start saving up but you are the best fish person u should have 1 mil 🐟🐠😀🙂
Cory just watched Rachael O'Leary's vid on how Pothos killed off all her algae in her tanks. Wondered if you wanted to kill off your algae or is it something you actively try to grow? If so which is better for water quality etc. Pothos or algae?

@@valiaudet3415 oct 2022 rewatching all the pond videos while I set mine up lol
I used to have a bug zapper over the corner of my actual pond, and my bream and small bass crowded around it every evening.
I have gone on a massive ACO binge and have to say, love your positivity.
Thanks, I try to stay passionate about the hobby. I really love it.
Great idea with the bug zapper its exactly why I watch your older content as well as the new stuff! Thank you!
Never boring, always interesting thanks again for sharing. your best videos are when you're having fun and doing what you want to do
I've watched quite a few of your videos lately and I'm just saying... Your wife sounds like an amazing person 😂 She loves weird quirks in your fish and that's so cool. You guys are awesome!
Yeah, she is awesome, no doubt about it.
Yes on the bug zapper! I've done it for a while including to feed exotic finches as well as fish
That's a clever idea 💡 ❗️ looks cool where you hung that zapper 👍
This is one of my fav AqCoop videos, have revisited several times, could very well be responsible for my MTS. On the verge of setting up 1st garden pond summer2019.
Daily dose videos and the unexpected projects in the fish room are my favorite!
Love the new intro, Cory. That scene with the wasp was hilarious! My wife and I were cracking up watching it crawl all over the bug zapper. The new 50 gallon tank looks awesome. Great footprint.
Glad you guys got a laugh out of it :)
Brilliant idea! I have been kicking that thought around since we did our outdoor pond.
It's awesome you should try it.
Lol. I enjoy pretty much all your videos but this one has me in tears!!! I can bearly see the letters to text. Thank you for making my day!!!
This is so Kool! The care packs are a really nice thing for you to do
Thanks for taking us through a few hours in your day. Interesting 😊

great video cory, aways injoy these
Glad to hear it.
Awesome video as always, Can't wait to see what you do with those shrimp tanks.
+aaron kimberley thanks, i need to find the right rack.
Really excited about the shrimp tanks. Cant wait to see what happens.
that big flat tank would be a wickid base for a fish tank coffee table, wack a glass top on, fill it with corydoras and plecos for an awesome top down view of some bottom dwellers.
I've thought of doing the same thing and there's always a few other methods to catching bugs... TH-cam has a lot of good videos on that topic.
Love the vid Cory! Can't wait for the shrimp series!
I'm gonna put some fish in that tank to get it cycling faster... Cause it's taking forever :P A watched pot never boils.
like the new format looks great
I use poly-fil in my tank all the time!
Very nice camping area. So glad you having them breeding. I'm going to try next year with white clouds. Thanks
Lots of cool stuff in this one Cory. Looking forward to seeing the results from the new filter on the goldfish tank! I need to do something like that.
It's working really well.
Man you really get it. One day I'll find something about the fish hobby that my bf will like too 👌👽👌
Love it! Perfect length, multiple projects, can't refill the Mt. Dew cuz I might miss something video.
Gotcha!
That's a cool style tank (the low rectangular one) maybe you could go 5 high on those!
Maybe so, haven't found the right rack for it yet.
Nice you'll have perfectly cooked bugs for your fish lol that is a genius idea.
I'm loving it so far lol.

That low boy is sooo... cool I want set it up as a coffee table.
I agree, they are super cool.
As long as it doesn’t fall in the pond I think it’s a great idea
I enjoyed the video. As you mentioned, the bug zapper is indiscriminate and kills beneficial insects and very few mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are attracted to Co2 and not lights.

I gave you a shoutout in my last video Cory!
And congratz with 13000 subs!!!
Seen that tank at the aca recently it's really nice tank I was hoping my lfs can get some also i wouldn't mind swapping some 55 gallons for that footprint
Yeah all kinds of trouble to get into with those tanks.
Holy crap i want that zoomed tank!!!!
Steenfott Aquatics hey I know I'm late by a lot but can you keep rainbow fish with Africa ciciclids

I feel like I'm the only one other than Cory hyped about the shrimp shelf with the pancake 55 gals?
I think people will realize how cool they are when setup.
Jese how do you keep on top of so many tanks. I struggle to manage one tank and two daphnia tubs. 😂
Nice Pond! Great video!!!
sweet pond you gota do a video how you heep the water warm with the solar heater
Can someone tell me please whats the name of that platy at 14:08 14:30 , the one with yellow and red color
Do White Clouds need a lot of water?Or do they thrive better in half filled stock tubs?Im in Saint Augustine Fl,Whiute Clouds are hard to find.
The mosquitos will land in the water anyway because that's where they lay eggs. Usually the bugs stick to the zapper. I would be to afraid if it gets windy or storms, the zapper may drop into the pond and kill all the fish.
plus I loved the intro
It was fun to have some fun with it :)
yeah
Have you ever heard of it and what do you think of it?
I love this style of vid!! and i almost bough one of the 50 low boys for my multi"s.
+MiniMatt317 they will be awesome for it.
I just did a white cloud pond with the same water trough you used but mine fir some reason try to jump out when I turn the air stone on.
13K already wow, your growing fast
great idea, keep that creativity flowing, could you do an update later and let us know how well it works (the bug zapper feeder)
Sure, so far it seems to be workin!
Awesome, thanks :)
Hi Cory great video. The 50 Gallon tanks might weigh to much but could you put them on rollers like drawers. Then you could role them out to look at each tank really well and you would need less gap in between tanks?
I had considered that, but I think my goal is to create something that anyone could recreate with this build.
+Aquarium Co-Op. Ya it would be very difficult to build.
Dat bass loop at the intro tho... Funky... lol Awesome video! The new editing is sweet! Glad to finally get a good look the pond, too! That bug zapper is too cool! Maybe you could try a swirl filter for the goldfish tank.
BTW I took your advice and used some 26in long 2X4s on top of the cinderblocks to level the tank. Worked perfectly! Thanks for the help!
Glad I could help ya.
hi, may I ask what kind of camera you use to record these videos? I've been using a cell phone and that is just not cutting it. thanks!!
I use the panasonic v750
+Aquarium Co-Op thanks so much!
The 50 gallon lowboy would be great for grooming fancy goldfish. That large surface area is perfect for growing out ranchu and the depth would promote wen growth in young orandas.
+SamanthaR that is an aspect im not well versed in, how does the shallow depth encourage wen growth?
Hey Cory, well there are varying opinions out there about this but one school of thought is that the shallow depth may contribute to increase in skull size and wen development in ranchu, Lionheads and orandas because there is less pressure on the young fish in shallow water. I haven't been able to test this theory myself but combined with good nutrition and water quality it kind of makes sense to me. I'd love to grow out a batch of fry with half in a shallow set up and the other half in a 40 gallon breeder and see if it made a difference. Either way, that 50 gal lowboy is pretty cool.
I could see that, I think it would be minimal for the growth, but if I were bringing goldfish to a show etc, every advantage helps.
Possibly, but that swing is pretty normal in nature. Do you still have the powerhead going?
+Aquarium Co-Op no. I removed that power head. I have a fluval 204 canister with a sponge over the intake so no fry and get through. I also have it on a low flow setting. I tried a sponge filter in there but the pond was to shallow as its only around 6-8 inches deep
where can i get that 50 gal tank, id love them for my shrimp
Any where that sells zoo med should be able to order one up for ya.
I have a 6 sided tank i bought for $45 which is about 30 gallons or so im a new keeper and dont want to mess up my fish but its a tall tank with a stand (about 2ft high) any ideas?
Right on i really like the bug zapper idea... Too bad that Dovii never comes out for the camera, I wanna see the little guy
enjoyed your tour
A moon shot without me? How dare you!!!
I need to do this with my white clounds, and I feed my gold fish the small insects from our bug zapper, I have honestly though about pulverizing a mixture and making a paste that I can mix with duck weed, cucumber and peas. just to see if it would be good for my fish.
Yeah, it would be close to the repashy grub pie. I'm sure it's good for our fish, I just need more bug zappers. Like I said its an auto feeder lol.
+Aquarium Co-Op I definitely think I should try it because I have so many bugs thanks to all the rice field in my area
What's the size on the stock tank? I am doing one this summer with tilapia
Algae grows where you don't want (more or less) and doesn't grow where you want - LOL - sounds about right
Still loving your setup
What kind of fish are those at 25:05?
Just shine a light on the water or use submersible lights close to the surface. Bugs will fall in like crazy.
hey again what is the name of the pair at 24:54? thanks
Albino Kribensis
Food for thought here. Mosquitoes feed more often 30 minutes to an hour before dawn and the same time before dusk so include that time in your timer settings.
Also make sure the zapper can't fall or be blown off the hook you have it on. Electricity and water dude.
Other than that I think it's a cool idea. :D
You're talking to a guy who works with water and electricity all day every day... It's safely installed and not going anywhere :)
Do you happen to know what your outdoor tub's water temperatures are for a 24hr period? I love fishing and Longfin White Clouds. What are your fishing hours and how much per fish?
It's open season each Feb. 29th.
Okay, I will see you in 2020.
What temperature do you tend to get in that white cloud pond?
Maybe should make sure if a storm blows in the zapper can't be blown off the hook and fall into the pond.
Totally made sure of that :)
LOL i was about to comment the same exact thing
GFCI outlet should take care of that! :)
Indeed. Just haven't put one in yet.
love surface skiners ... love the ehiem freshwater skimmer ... never haver bio film problems
This one turned out to be a complete piece of junk.
Hi Cory where did you get that outdoor pond? I live in California I hope I can get the same like you since I have a pair of koi.
At a farm feed place, like a cenex co-op
Awesome video
