New sub here! Love your channel and especially your beautiful personality. Great tricks and hints, recipes easy and look awesome. I've got a Walmart order coming with ingredients for your recipes to make for my family. ❤ Thanks for making these videos very helpful for me. Many blessings to you and your family.
PLEASE don't listen to bad or NEGATIVE COMMENTS PLEASE. you are doing everyone a favor by showing everyone how to cook and have some AWESOME recipes and for people like me who cannot cook THANK YOU so much 😊😊😊
True , so delicious ! Save bones from cooked chicken or beef cuts in a freezer bag or container of choice. When there are enough for desired cooking pot size, cover with cold water, bring to boil. My grandma skimmed the " foam " off using a large serving spoon, putting it on a saucer. She then added scrap veggie peelings, bits & pieces, root ends cut off etc the " trinity" of onion, celery ( roots, leaves & all) carrots, bring to a slow boil, continue til veggies soft. Would strain, making the best stock ever ! All from scraps ! She'd add absolute last of meat, rice or made noodles using flour, salt& egg. Be they rolled out or just " dumpling" style of teaspoon into the stock w the mixture. Kitchen smelled the best ! She'd toss in small carrot slices, onion pieces, celery slices, nothing was wasted . s
I love your videos. I save the bones and skins from the chicken and use it make chicken broth and add some veggies and use it to make hundreds of things ... Love all the ideas
I don't use "rostisher" chicken ;) but if you can get a whole chicken on sale it's about the same price. I just find that rotisserie chicken is so often way over-cooked and sometimes over-seasoned as well. I don't have any chicken on hand, otherwise I would have tried one of these tonight, but rest assured that they all look great and I will be making all of them. I very much want to try the Poblano, Mushroom, and Corn Pie and I have everything on hand for that but the chicken, so maybe tomorrow. The tip on how to remove the skins inside the grocery bag is excellent as well!!! Thank you so much!
Looks so delicious! I will try them ! Dont waste those bones, they make delicious broth, and the bones get soft enough for your dog to eat them. Broth is expensive, i never buy it anymore, always make my own.
Thank you for the video, definitely going to try them all. you rock, the food looks amazing 💯❤FYP the kids are having fun and it's a great thing to hear
Hi!!! I am new to your channel. I like these recipes They all look delicious. I don't eat any mushrooms...Anyways I substitute different things for them always.Everything looks really good. Nice Video!!!...🦋
Why would you throw away the bones. Boil them with an onion and carrot and about three liters of water. After about one hour of simmering strain it and start a soup with vegetables and a cup of a small pasta, even rice. You could also use the broth for making a rice with vegetables and chicken, arroz con pollo. You have thrown away two abundant meals.
Don't throw the bones away! It makes the best chicken broth with all the seasonings, I usually make tortilla soup or homemade chicken noodle with it. Just slow over night or pressure cook for about 1 hour.
You could have used those bones and skin to make a broth it' is so good with the flavors from what ever seasoned chicken you have.. It adds so much flavor... Then you could have put it in a couple containers and froze it to use in other recipes you would use a bouillon or chicken stock... Even add to other simple recipes to add moisture or just a bit extra flavor... Use it instead of water in rice dishes etc.
Also save all your scrap veg just keep adding it to a big bag in your freezer then when you have enough bones saved up add it to the pot.. You can, can them so easily add to sauces it's just wonderful to have in the freezer or pantry.. Canning is so much easier then people realize and saves so much money.. When your having a hard time you'll have it to fall back on.. You should really look into it.. You won't be sorry.
Some of the recipes I think would be even better with a little bit of cumin but they all look delicious as is I'm trying them all for sure yummy!! I'm a woman on my husband's account 40 yr marriage ❤ God Bless you and your family!! Stay Safe!!! ❤
You should have saved your chicken bones and skin to boil and make chicken broth. You strain the broth from the bones and skin. You can freeze the broth 🤗
Don’t throw the chicken bones away!! Use a slow cooker or instant pot to make chicken broth!! So much better than store bought broth and it’s just water and time to make!
That's what I do! I buy the roasted chicken at Smart & Final as they are huge for the price. I strip the meat off and put the carcass in the freezer until we get another chicken. Then both go in the electric pressure cooker with some onion and carrots scraps and cooked into bone broth. Delicious and frugal.
You could get 2 quarts of stock out of the bones! Wow, i thought everyone on a budget did that way better than boxed. Make a super delicious soup. Thank you for the recipes.
I love your videos! But I have a question.... In almost every video there is a quick, double "beep, beep," sound in the background. What is it? For some reason that's ound terrifies my dog, so I have to wear earbuds to watch your videos. Lol.
I just found your channel, and was immediately shocked when you said you would throw away the bones. I yelled at my screen. I don't know of any decent budget cook who would do that.
Never apologize for the sound of happy children playing in the background. That's such a happy sound to me.
You can make bone broth with the leftover bones. Freeze the broth for later use.
Yes thank you. I will do that next time.

It's a hard one. Row + tiss + ah+ ree. Chicken. I was once told by a friend that English was the hardest language for him to learn.
It’s actually French!
It's a hard language especially because the way you write and read it is very different.
@jmsuther01 even worse and more confusing

A quick question: how much (on average) do your rotisserie chickens weigh? That looked HUGE compared to the ones we have in Australia!
About 2 pounds at Walmart. Sams or Costco is 3 pounds.
