An underrated song. I mean, come on, that beastly mode on bass by Alex, simple yet emotive solo by Richie, banging of the drums like a maniac by Tico and jamming the keys by David, not forgetting that sweet voice of Jon = awesome personified!
I think 2000s was the last era his voice are at the same level. Along with age, his voice toned down but still nice to hear. Then they turn into country-like songs
His voice was still fine when the band recorded "It's My Life" in 2000. It was during that decade 2000-2010 that you notice his voice starting to deteriorate. Now it's just terrible. He needs lots of rest and a vocal coach to repair some of the damage.

Nope, there´s a buuunch of singers whose age rn is more than 50 and still have their vocal range intact. Gotta love Jon and all the band, my favorite by far, but he never took care about his voice and never had relly good vocal technique, plus start smoking and drinking would even fuck more his voice. That´s why he wont sound the same anymore. Not because of aging...

Manter-se nas paradas de sucesso por tanto tempo foi uma tarefa muito difícil já que o rock popular foi progressivamente perdendo espaço na indústria fonográfica para o hiphop. BJ segue sendo uma lenda e um sucesso, mas "apenas" entre seus fãs do passado ou novos que são desprendidos de moda musical.
