Just so I'm clear: you need TWO cell phones to use mobile hotspot functionalty, correct? One phone to host the hotspot, and another phone to run the ieGeek Cam app on, correct? The video seems to indicate this is true. Before knowing this I tried enabling my phone's hotspot and running the ieGeek Cam app on that same phone, and none of what you described in the third method works.
Apart from the NVR method which doesn't explain how a connection is made, "all" the other methods use Wi-Fi. How can I use the Ethernet cable connected to a windows laptop? No Wi-Fi just wired. This video is just click-bait.
Hi, how can I make the camera keep recording to sdcard after I disconnect from it? The idea is to leave the camera laying somewhere where is no internet, go away and then come back and read the data on sd card. When I disconnect or even switch off my phone display, recording stops. Thanks!
Hi,the video above instructs on several ways to connect to a network other than a wifi connection, and the camera will not work if there is no network connected to it.
Hi guy's, I am completely at lost with the amount of various cameras out there and what i would like to have if this is possible, is a wireless camera 1080 is enough for my need and i would like to have night vision since i don't want to bother the cats with light inside their shelter. My model is located at 80 feet from the shelter and i have no major obstruction like concrete or trees, there is only 2 drywall's between the shelter and the modem. Also a camera that will not sound an alarm in the shelter or at least one which i can disable the feature in the software. With this i need a camera where i can operate from a desktop computer since i don't have a cell phone and never will, i just want to watch the cat in the shelter and have no need for storage and no cloud subscription either, also i am looking for something affordable. Thank for anyone kind enough to provide advice Regards Peter

Does this work for all brands of cameras or just the one mentioned in video ? If not stop wasting peoples time and edit in the brand on video title please and thank you . Too late for me but for future me that forgets I already viewed this video. Ha ha ha , no really - my memory is bad.
Hello,Thank you for reaching out! The 4G SIM card camera model is specifically designed for cellular networks and unfortunately does not support Wi-Fi connectivity. It operates solely on a 4G SIM card connection, allowing for remote monitoring in areas without Wi-Fi access.
Hi, Neil, to activate human detection, let's watch the video-6 Top Tips to Reduce False Alarms from ieGeek Security Cameras: th-cam.com/video/TObj8S24wRA/w-d-xo.html, the tip 3 is turning on the human detection function.

Thanks for your feedback, your opinion is correct.
Can't connect second router linked by ethernet to the first
Don't want a bloody account or IP redirection. Should be able to connect to it directly (ap) or via router without the need for internet

Hello, Do you need to install the security camera near the cat's shelter? Is the router installed 80 feet away from the camera?
