      I have problem with my camera ie 60 when I enter to the app and enter to the camera after afew sacnd the video is stopping and showing to me massage Failed to play video what I do?

    It was a little bit misunderstanding for me at first, that I could not set the camera to rec 24/7 or manual by pressing a button. Afterwards it makes perfect sense. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I run this without WLAN, but had to set everything up with WLAN. :)

    I have the ieGeek ZS-GX3S solar camera. I've read the PDF owners manual. Is there a better instruction guide online that explains more of the menu items? Like what is WORK INDICATOR? and how to view the entire recording without the monthly cloud service? Plus a few other questions. Thx

    In the ieGeek cam app under Recording Management tab, what does the "Video Switch" function do ?

      This place is used to manage the SD card recording, when you plug in the SD card, turn on this switch events are stored in the SD card

    What does the video switch button do on the wireless camera? Cannot find anything about it online and there’s hardly any info in the basic manual. SD card is in and it’s not recording anything. Don’t really want to return the camera but please help.

    My camera is recording to the SD card , as i can see the available space getting lower , but when i go to the recordings there is nothing to view

    I cannot find continuous video recording option on my IeGeek ZS Gx3s camera. Can you tell how to turn or continuous recording ? And if it doesnt not support 24/7 recording then by purchase cloud storage will it provide continuous recording?

      The ieGeek ZS-GX3S is a battery-powered camera, which is designed to conserve energy and does not support continuous 24/7 recording. This feature is common in battery-operated cameras to ensure long battery life. The camera records based on motion detection to optimize performance.
      Purchasing cloud storage will not enable continuous recording either, as the camera itself is not designed for this function. If you're looking for a solution with 24/7 recording, we recommend considering a wired security camera for uninterrupted video monitoring.

      Hi, Jason. Normally, the sd card slot can be founded on the bottom of back or side of camera.

    Hi, I have a ZS-GX15 and I can't get it to record. I have a 128gig Kingston card in it and when I try to view in history, I have a screen pop up that says Tips - No video available, same with the cloud tab, it tells me there are no recordings. (I have formatted the card twice in the app so far).
    I can go into the recording management and it shows my capacity of my SD card is 116.056G and the same in remaining capacity.
    What is going on?

      Hi, Cyberia, Battery camera is not 24-hour recording. Usually it is standby hibernation, and only after waking up to start recording according to the actual situation. And each time you need to wait for the recording to finish, for example, wait for a few minutes, and then you can view the video in the "History" screen of the app.

      @@ieGeekCam Yes, I realize it's not 24 hour recording but the problem is that it rarely records. I can be doing jumping jacks in front of it and get nothing. It does not pick up anyone coming to my door, my car coming and going out of the driveway, nothing, no matter how long I wait. I am currently dealing with Vivienne, but I first contacted help on Friday and had to wait until Monday for someone to get back to me and she's telling me to do the things I've already tried....
      Not overly helpful when one has to wait a full day for responses due to the time zones.

      Did you get anywhere? Wish I'd had seen all these problems people were having before I bought two. Absolutely useless

      @@OfficialELTB Nope. I ended up returning the piece of garbage just days before the return window closed. It was almost like they were trying to draw it out so I'd miss the return window. I lost patience and just returned it and left a not so stellar review. They then contacted me asking me to remove the review and they'd give me a $40 Amazon gift card. I told them I was not removing the review until I got the card. I got it, and left the review and edited it to add their bribery.
      My reviews stand so others don't get fkd over too and I made sure to include they tried to bribe me to remove the review, or at least give them more stars. Not gonna happen, I used the gift card towards a different solar camera, a solar Dzees and it worked straight out of the box with no issues, stays charged even on overcast and rainy days and zero issues with accessing clips thru the app. We will see how it performs over winter with the cold but so far, so good.
      They continued to email me asking for reviews on the customer service (which was shit) so I just ended up blocking their email.

    What's the difference between 'video switch' and 'event recording'?

      Video switch" is the SD card recording toggle. When enabled, triggered segments are saved to the SD card. "Event recording" captures short clips, typically lasting a few seconds. For continuous monitoring when powered, there's also an option for "All day record"

      Hi, What kind of camera do you buy? In general, enter the history playback interface, click video, save the video to the App album, then go to the App album, find the corresponding video clip, click to download to the phone album

    zs gx3s - camera will record an event but won't playback the captured event in app. I have to remove sd card and watch on pc.

      Hello, under normal circumstances, the content recorded by SD card can be directly viewed in the App. There is a motion detection on the homepage of the App, you can try to check it.

      @@ieGeekCam I've gone through email support and there is no way for it to work. Used multiple name brand high speed SD cards. Would love to see this feature demonstrated with these cameras somewhere.

      I have that camera and am able to playback videos stored on the SD card. Perhaps you have now learned how to do that? What I cannot do, is share those videos without first taking the card out and sharing from PC. You can turn on Basic cloud which then saves short 5 sec clips to the cloud when motion is detected. Those can be shared from the app, but they are too short and often missing whatever movement caused the detection.

      @@GrahamM-sm1hv graham that's literally what I've described. It's supposed to play back within app without cloud. That is what is advertised.
      No duh that it works when putting the sd into another device - that's not useful if the camera is stolen.

    How can I get more than 6 seconds recording ? Do I have to actually get a plan ?

      Hello,
      If you're using cloud storage, recording content longer than 6 seconds does require an upgrade to your cloud storage plan. We recommend using an SD card for storage, as this allows you to record videos for up to 30 seconds.

      Hi,De todo un poco, may I have your camera model? The battery cameras don't support SD card recording, and wired cameras such as IE20, IE30,IE50... support SD card recording.

      It only records by event, it does not give me the option to record all day. The app I use is iegeek cam version 4.5.0

    Would have been really nice to know that you cannot use and SD card larger than 32gb for this camera before I spent $50 on two 128gb ones... 😡
