You're right about the correlation between endurance and health. I cover endurance leveling in episode #10. Link for those interested: th-cam.com/video/rMrCoHMjhyM/w-d-xo.html
It’s not as complex as you think. Do get the most HP out of your dwellers, you need to: Step 1: Place a level 1 dweller into an endurance training center. To make the most of your results, make sure they are *ONLY* level 1, and nothing more. Step 2: Once their endurance has capped at 10, give them your best endurance outfit, your best gun, and heaps of rad aways and stimpaks, then send them out into the Wasteland. Step 3: Make sure your dweller doesn’t come back until he\she has reached lvl 50, When that happens, bring em back home. Step 4: From here, you can convert them into a super dweller (all stats maxed) or just enjoy a really tanky dweller in your upcoming quests. Hope this helped anyone.
@@ice_wallow_come9741im 3 year late but why not maxing them completely and then sending them outside it's not like they gain any xp while training. also i didn't know u could exceed 10 in special bc when i equip a dweller with a outfit that would make them go over 10 and i place them in a production place it always says 10 strength for example

Lucky Formal Wear is actually better when using Rocket launchers on Quests, since they have special critical hits. Critical hit from rocket launcher does not only deal damage to the chosen target (like any other crit in the game), but also his next attack applies that extra damage and since rocket launchers target all enemies in the room, it's applying that 5x damage to all of them. Meaning if you were fighting 3 Deathclaws and you hit 5x critical hit, you are making all the hits 5x more deadly, with each target your damage output increases by 5x, so with 3 targets that critical hit would deal 15x damage, with 5 Radroaches, it would be 25x! (overkill much...) That is 100% worth losing the Agility, since your MIRV literally NUKES rooms with his super-crits and makes your questing a lot faster! Could be a bug, because sometimes that damage doesn't apply, but once you learn how to utilize this it will defo makes your choices of outfit more interesting!
Also, good stuff. I never knew P, A, and L stats actually affect quests! I only equip my questing dwellers with 7E gear! This has been again extremely helpful.

You need to test out the +7 perception and +7 agility suit against the Heavy Raider gear. I rarely use my crits unless the enemy is much more difficult, so luck isn't needed as much unless I'm on a solo-dweller mission. See how much difference +4 agility is against +7, compared to +0. The weapons equipped also have some slight affect on attack speed when two dwellers have the same agility.
I think luck is the best stat to improve because it increases the chance of lootable containers and the quality of the loot on top of crit charge speed
How effective would you say the death jacket is? It gives +4 for P/E/A/L. All 3 attack factors and endurance gives extra health, would you use it over the jumpsuit?
I personally find that during the absolute hardest quests that having a high endurance along with Perception, agility and luck with the heavy wasteland gear is the most beneficial to keeping dwellers alive especially when they have pets which increase the amount of health of dwellers. So useful on survival playthroughs.
If your dwellers are falling low on health very often, make sure they're high level. The higher they are, the more HP they have. Also, if you can get a level 1 dweller, max out his endurance while he's still fresh. Give them a +7 Heavy Wasteland Gear, then send him to wander. Just make sure they also have maxed strength so they won't die in the Wasteland & when they come back, they'll be at or near lvl 50. Once they reach 50, you can take off the Wasteland gear & you've successfully made super soldiers. From now on, they'll only need about 7 Stimpacks for even the hardest quests. Hope this helps :p
My favorite gear was the merc gear and I almost got a little sad when I realized it might not be so good to send people on quests with it anymore, but apparently I just need to upgrade it.

Also, you can't have all of the gear sets but I believe that death's is the best one.

I haven't tried it out myself, but I think a Lucky Formal wear with the MIRV would be pretty powerful. Being able to dish out more critical hits more often with it damaging all enemies seems pretty powerful. Hey, great ideas! Outfit skins could be a cool reward that's worked into completing difficult tasks, etc.. There's definitely potential for this with the upcoming Fallout Shelter Online release too. Nope. Questing dwellers should be leveled up with max endurance and E+5 or E+7 though. I'll address leveling and creating the best dwellers in an upcoming episode.
Will you ever do a video on the Endurance stat? I've restarted my own vault and am focusing on getting my dwellers to 10 Endurance before assigning them jobs.
I'm planning a " How to Create The Best Dwellers" or something along those lines as the nest video in the Vault Log series. Endurance leveling will be covered in great detail. :)
If you'r having to wear endurance gear while you're questing, then you didn't level them up the best way. He's got a video on this as well but basically you should be taking a level 1 dweller and maxing their endurance. Once it's at 10 throw some +7 or at least +5 endurance gear on them then level them up to 50. The difference in max health they'll have is going to be quite high.
Sorry I’m so late to this but question about outfits, do you need to keep replicas in your storage? Because for example I have 6x the handyman jumpsuit, so do I keep all 6 for 6 dwellers? Thanks
I'm planning on it. I just need more research data before addressing the topic. The exploring/loot collection mechanics aren't as straightforward as the questing ones.
I had a question. As you've mentioned in your videos with crafting on top of having a Max special stat for that specific craft then adding a suit to give additional boosts to the stat to further bring down the crafting time, with that being said, does this concept work with resources? So instead of having 6 maxed dwellers in strength in a nuclear plant. Giving them a suit to boost their strength plus 7 further reduce the gathering timer?
You didn't bring up the Heavy Raider outfit, with the +3P +4A. I tend to use those with the Heavy Merc gear on 1 of the 3 (at least, on my tertiary questing group). After the Jobinson quest, the Jobinson's Jersery with (useless +4S&C) +4P and +4A is used on one of them (I realize that's a specialized choice when not everyone will have it). You mention the lack of desire for perception due to the speed not being a factor for you, but for others that may actually be a good thing to have. I'm more concerned, if you will, with the difference in the DPS on the Dragon's Maw with +4A and +7A. I wouldn't think it would be a big enough difference. Any thoughts? Great job, btw...I don't subscribe to many channels, but I like your presentations for FOS.
The Heavy Raider outfit is also a great option, but I chose to address the Heavy Merc Gear because it features all of the stats that were covered in the field tests. Yes, I do think the extra perception is a waste for my playstyle, but I did mention that it should only be avoided if players aren't able to land decent critical hits with less perception. I think the difference between +4A and +7A on the Dragons Maw would be an interesting element to look into. I'll be sure to test it out on my next daily quest. Thanks for subscribing! Are there any topics you would like to see covered in future episodes?
I've tried comparing +5 A to +7 A with Dragon Maws and could not see any different in attack speed during a quest. As a topic suggestion which has been mentioned before: Vengeance vs Dragons Maw on quests. Does the vengeance's stagger mechanic and damage carry over make it superior to the Dragon Maw's higher avg damage?
Not really...I'm pretty much already on the same page as you, but I enjoy watching your take on them. The question above, from mkxxiv is actually pretty good. I personally use Dragon Maw's for everyone, including in the vault. I've made close to 50 of them, if I had to guess. But I have seen the "stagger mechanic" in action and must say it's pretty nice. But I don't find the overall damage on boss fights worth the stagger effect. And if it's not a boss, it usually goes down in 2-3 shots of a DW (maybe a radscorpion might go to 4-5 when there are only 2 in small room). Actually, I did think of a topic. I've noticed that the same MOB in a small room with less MOBs has much more HP than their counterpart in a big room that has twice as many. For instance: A small room with 2 raiders...those raiders will take more hits to down than if you were in a large room with 4 raiders. It's as iff the total amount of HP for the mobs is equalized over the number of mobs in the room.
I'll plan on editing together the Maw v.s Vengeance video after the nest episode is out. I'm actually pretty excited to see what the research will reveal. Which one do you think will come out on top, or do you think it will be a tie?
Nope. Endurance gear does provide extra hp when leveling up dwellers, but after that it no longer impacts hp. It can provide radiation immunity in the wasteland though.
yes, but on quests you rarely level up and most people bring max dwellers on quests anyways. Besides, it gives you no combat advantage whatsoever just wearing it regularly
i hate how questing special mechanic works, im on survival and have a full brotherhood themed vault my questers are e7 leveled, and everyone has power armors scribe robes or bos uiforms. not wearing stat apropriate robes doesnt make it harder, just, slower. on the 50lvl quests i hardly ever use stimpacks, just to heal before sending back. one thing i noticed is having all special 10 and just having +1 perception on the dveller slows the critical marker speed much more than having just the standard 10 in perception

Yes, try it
Even on crafting
So strength is useless on quests?
Yes, but I think when you explore the waistland it helps you dweller carrying more stuff, wich is pretty usefull when they're powerful
If you have weapons with a very big damage range, dwellers will deal out the higher end more often the more strength they have
Where can we get other outfits that can't be crafted?
Some outfits can only be obtained by completing specific quests. Another reason to continue questing! :)
I go luck for those extra items and caps.
Or am I wrong?
I once had a the best armor and a game room i think and about 30-40? I guess and yeah I changed my phone and all my progress is gone fantastic 😄👍
I think, ultimately, the Maw will win due to boss fights.
hay what's the song at the end
Why am i using power armors on quests if i have expert jumpsuit.
My dumbass was building strength and Endurance like a simpleton
Same
Isn't endurance reducing damage taken in wasteland and combat?
Nope. Endurance gear does provide extra hp when leveling up dwellers, but after that it no longer impacts hp. It can provide radiation immunity in the wasteland though.
Endurance??
Dang that death claw is thicc
1:31 me to
Strength is how much damage you can take
Thats endurance...
Strength is your damage..
@@waioramin WRONG! Strength is damage resistand and Endurance is how much health you gain per lvl up
Strength = S
Perception= P
Endurance=E
Charisma=C
Intellegence=I
Agility=A
Luck=L
It means SPECIAL
Alucard: MLBB we already know that
No shit sherlock
What about endurance lol, endurance is most important since it gives them a lot more health only as they level up
yes, but on quests you rarely level up and most people bring max dwellers on quests anyways. Besides, it gives you no combat advantage whatsoever just wearing it regularly
Ty
its pretty useful
Bro, will the outfits still have any affect if my SPECIAL stats are maxed?
Yes, also works in the vault too. Even if your dweller us maxed, they can still get even more benefits from outfits
i hate how questing special mechanic works, im on survival and have a full brotherhood themed vault my questers are e7 leveled, and everyone has power armors scribe robes or bos uiforms. not wearing stat apropriate robes doesnt make it harder, just, slower. on the 50lvl quests i hardly ever use stimpacks, just to heal before sending back. one thing i noticed is having all special 10 and just having +1 perception on the dveller slows the critical marker speed much more than having just the standard 10 in perception
How does he have so many stimpaks and radaways? I'm still stuck with 15 each.
Build more medbays and upgrade them
outphase78 Thanks.
What about endurance! It brings up your health
Yes

I almost shrugged him off when he skipped Endurance. But having watched the whole thing, he's actually quite really helpful.
