I saw your comment about not playing anymore and wanted to let you know your videos are still helping people like myself who are new to the game. Really appreciate it.
What about vengeance? Its the best gatling laser. The damage is considerable lower with an average of 23.5 but it fires multiple times and instantly switches targets when an enemy is downed. With dragons maw you're sometimes forced to waste a show on a low health enemy. I can't confirm this but it does seem to stunlock enemies too. Melee weapons also shouldn't be ruled out entirely. When you select your dweller to attack an enemy, the enemy will redirect its attack to the one with the melee weapon. Give that dweller a damage reduction pet and you got a pretty good strategy going.
the vengeance is great for its switching target aspect... butt it easy to switch a maw user off of a near dead enemy to another target and switch anther dweller doing less damage to that near dead enemy... butt this micro managing can be annoying... >:(
You actually skipped the best weapon which in some situations is - Vengeance. The reason for this is it changes target after the kill. With dragon's maw or fire hydrant killing target with 1 hp makes you lose all remaining damage. Vengeance would just target another enemy and deal damage. MIRV divides damage among all targets which is less useful if you need to kill boss quickly.
Since this video came out I've used the Vengeance quite a bit more, and my opinion on the Dragons Maw still stands. I do plan on uploading a Vengeance V.S Dragons Maw episode of Vault Log, and I'll address the pros and cons of each in the upcoming episode. I do agree that the Vengeance is better in some situations, but the situations that it excels in are fights against lower hp targets, and those don't really pose much of a threat to a fully-leveled team. The Deathclaw staggering is also helpful, but I've found that the Maw seems to eliminate them faster. I'll elaborate more in the forthcoming episode. Thanks for watching. :)
You are propably right. But damage of Dragon's Maw isnt that much higher. 1-3 more. Now consider Strength adds also bonus damage. Not sure how it works but the higher total damage is the more hits you need from Dragons Maw to offset damage loss in case of overkill to be more effective than Vengeance (lower monster's hp=more difference). Works vs Deathclaws but you don't meet them often. I guess its personal preference, quicker trash fights or better tough fights. Or just the looks (Vengeance looks cool) :)
MIRV is an oxymoron of itself. An AoE weapon should be most effective against larger groups of enemies, but the fact that it divides a fixed damage value amongst all enemies results in the MIRV becoming WEAKER the more enemies are involved. smh
MIRV and other explosive weapons have amazing critical hits tho. Not only it deals damage to the one you target, but to everyone else in the room. When you hit 5x crit damage using Dragon's Mow, it kills the boss, but if you do 5x crit with MIRV, it kills the boss AND everyone else in that room. And against weaker enemies you meet on some quests, you rather want splash than direct damage to clear the rooms quicker. Maybe the best way to use MIRV is with +7 Luck outfit?
Actually, I think the dragons maw is better for vault defense and MIRV is best for questing -- REASON ---> If you have three MIRVs you can attack all enemies in the room at once and do massive damage. But in my observation, Vengeance seems to have the highest attack rate because it fires for so long, its best for clearing quantities of small mobs.
In vault defense the only thing that counts is the average damage output of the weapon and not the attack pattern (ever wonder why feral ghouls keep dying even when there's nobody firing at them)
I agree that Maw is best for vault defense. Best on door and best on most dwellers in other rooms. I also agree that MIRV is best for questing, but only in some circumstances. There is no damage loss from switching targets. The critical damage is never wasted on single targets. But in a room with a very strong boss and multiple smaller mobs, the MIRV and MIRV criticals are wasted due to the even split of damage between all targets. I think Maw for defense, and 2xMaw +1MIRV for quests is best for questing. Why 2xMaw on quests? At higher levels having 2xMaw focussing on 1 mob at a time doubles the kill speed and reduces the enemy damage output faster. There is some overall damage output lost on switching targets, but the kill rate is a steady progression instead of delayed multi-kill.
your are absolutely correct. the only thing thats hard about the mirv is when you have 2 or more of them in a room, the room is shaking when the grenades hit, and if you get a chance to do a critical attack, its hard to click on the target with the room shaking so bad
Strength -makes you more likely to hit that maximum damage of your weapon. For example: "Fire Hydrant Bat" with 19-31 will more consistently deal around 31, I need to make calculations if it's actually better to have +7 Strength than +7 Agility using this weapon which benefits the most of doing successful high roll damage.- It also helps your wasteland explorers with some events. In vault it's used for electricity production and crafting most of the best weapons in the game. Very useful stat and you can never go wrong training it.
Perception makes you more likely to hit the center of critical hit roulette. -Not worth equipping any Perception boosts if you are precise enough to hit the 5x crit damage even with just based 10 Perception trained.- However it may reward you in the wasteland with more rewards since all SPECIAL stats help you while exploring wasteland. It's not worst stat to boost. Later in the game, you can use Perception in your Vault to craft weapons/outfits/themes that require Perception.
Endurance is the most unique of all SPECIAL stats. It gets progressively less efficient the higher level your dwellers are. If you want to dig most from Endurance = max health possible, you need to train new level 1 dweller to 10 Endurance, give them outfit +5 or +7 Endurance and sent them to wasteland to level up, once they reach lvl 50, sent them back. Health of the dweller will be displayed once he starts taking damage, however don't expect to see a number, rather compare them with other dwellers that took same amount of damage but their health differs. It also makes your Stimpacks heal more HP since they restore % of your dwellers health, not the actual amount. Your dweller takes less damage but your stimpacks heal same amount everytime. Making stimpacks and radaway more effective. If you want your wasteland adventurers to last longer, make sure then have +11 Endurance from their outfits so they won't receive the random radiation damage events. With 11 Endurance you practically don't need Rad-away (unless you are on a Quest). Piper outfit fits this idea, it provides +2 Endurance which is enough to stop radiation and +6 other stats on top of that.
Intelligence is the most useless stat in combat, it doesn't make your stimpacks heal for more, nor give you any combat advantage (like accessing terminals with defenses, which would be cool). It only affects your performance while exploring wasteland. However you need intelligence in your Vault for numerous things. Namely stimpack + radway production and crafting. Since I made my Vault Institute themed I craft Virgil's Rifle a lot, and it need Intelligence for crafting so my vault is more Intelligence focused than would be optimal.
I prefer Virgil's Rifle or Vengeance during Quests. They don't waste potential damage dealt as much since they spread the damage over multiple shots and can move on to the next live enemy during fire. With high agility stats, they can really cut down enemies fast.
I hate any variations of the institute rifle because of that tumble the dweller does between shots. Makes it hard to click on him when you have to re-target
I must say I agree with you to a certain extent, but I found, having a Gatling is an asset, bc it regenerates very quickly, and once the energy being used at the time has killed its target it automatically contintue's on another subject.
I love your vault logs. I think fallout shelter is a game that got way too less appreciation. It looks great, has many mechanics, and is overall nice with the dweller system. Also you can play it offline on your phone, tablet or wherever you installed it. So just wanted to say thx for that you made these nice videos about it ❤️. Love from germany
Thanks so much for sharing the kind words! It's been a few years since I played, but I had a lot of fun with the game and creating the series. Glad to hear that people are still enjoying the game & vids. :)
the fire hydrant bat is a melee weapon and as such will only allow a single person wielding one to attack a baddie at a time (dwellers with a ranged weapon can also attack at the same time), Dragon maw is THE top damage weapon in the game but fires only a single burst then recharges - i like many prefer to mix it up with the weapons to cover all bases.
In regards to the Fire Hydrant Bat if you change your attack target of the dweller using it the dweller will often switch places with another dweller, making it useful for changing who is taking damage at that present moment.
I like to bring each of those three weapons on quests. The fire hydrant bat guy can be your most tanky guy with the most health so you go though less stimpaks when there is only one enemy left in the room. The dragon’s maw guy is good support for the guy with the fire hydrant bat so you can down 1 enemy at a time. Finally the guy with the MIRV is good when you have a room full of small or weak enemies.
I agree the dragon's maw is the best over all, but when questing I like to take one melee weapon because if you switch targets to a enemy attacking another dweller the enemy will also switch targets to your melee dweller. Using this trick you can make a "tank" to absorb some stop some damage for a weaker dweller.
I like how we can select each character and decide which enemy he or she will attack, especially in case of fighting a death claw. sometimes during quest there is a boss level claw along with 2 or more reg sized. i make all my dwellers attack the big one first. but it works best and fast if all dwellers fighting are level 50 and trained all S.P.E.C.I.A.L. with a better weapon like plasma rifle
I always give different type of weapon to my dwellers: Dragon's maw, vengeance and virgil's rifle but sometimes, i switch vengeance with lead belcher (because of different type of enemies resistance)
3 fire hydrant can attack the same enemy, you just have to manually target after they kill the original target. All splash damage types benefit highly from +damage pets. Just like fallout games melee weapons deal bonus damage when strength is increased, 10 max +7 from legendary military apparel plus a pet with +6 damage turns fire hydrant into a one hit kill on boss death claws.
Great vid. Subbed. Do you plan on making a video for beginners? Like detailing the mechanics of vault combat vs. wasteland combat vs. quest combat. Also tips like maxing out endurance before leveling up your dwellers so they'll have high hp, and wearing endurance clothing while leveling up for extra hp.
I'm not planning a "beginners guide" per se, but I think the series will definitely have concepts that both beginners and veteran players will find helpful. That's the goal anyways. Thanks for subscribing! ;)
It may have been said already by someone else here, but you can individually choose your targets. That way you can get a better idea on weapon damage with two dwellers attacking their own targets.
For missions I give one fire hydrant, one dragon’s maw and one vengeance, because the bat is good for tanking and redirecting the damage to other, the maw makes a good damage, but vengeance fires multiple times, so that it’s shoots may also be redirected to other mob during its fire turn, as the maw shoots a single heavy shot.
I just started playing this game so forgive the late timing. I recommend one Dragon's Maw (or Vengeance) and two MIRV's for fast annihilation of enemies on quests. The MIRV's damage will assist the person with the Dragon's Maw when damaging ALL enemies. When the character with the Dragon's Maw switches to another target after killing an enemy, the remaining enemies are already reasonably low and quickly killed.Basically, it is like ganging up on an enemy without micro managing.
I actually had the same opinion long before i saw this video for the same reasons. Already every single dweller in my 115 dweller vault has a dragon's maw (took forever). Truly a nice weapon. I do however feel that the hydrant bat is best for single person quest teams...
I'm partial to the Vengeance. But I'd rather have some variety than perfection, so I equip my best dwellers wih a mixture of Legendary weapons including Leadbelcher and Miss Launcher.
I think the reasoning for the Fire Hydrant Bat game mechanic is because it’s a short range weapon. The theory is there is a finite number of attackers “next” to the enemy.
You can select a melee character and target a new enemy. He will engage the new target and your ranged characters will move and continue shooting that target
I agree. Dragon its the best weapon. I have 23 dragons already in my vault. The other two weapons i have two specimens each One. They are good. But not like Dragons.
My favorite is Dragon's Maw. I used to use the Mirv (yes over Fire Hydrant Bat) Until I got The Dragon's Maw.Ever since, X-01 Power Armor (aka not the T 61 or 51 or 41)The X-01 Power Armor with S+5 P+1 E+1 with The Dragon's Maw Guarding The Vault ALONE.Well..I might give him a friend but right now with Raiders,Ghouls, and Deathclaws,He keeps the Vault Safe.
I think a more conclusive test would have been to send those three dwellers against 3 enemies at a time. You'd be better able to see which is the most effective.
god damn. thanks for ur video. i search "missile launcher fallout shelter" to see how the weapon mechanic works and the first two video gave me cancer literally. but ur video just cured it.
Now maybe I'm just spitballing here but to be fair Gatling and Flame thrower type weapon seems to be the highest DPS of all. When your dwellers in quest swap target, they usually do this moving animation of repositioning themselves. Now here's the catch, any other weapon resets their attack interval after they reposition so they have to wait before attacking again. But for Minigun and Flam thrower type, they count the moving animation as their "reload" animation to so they will immediately attack again after repositioning. You should test it out in 2024
I'm still more interested on how well the laser musket performs. It's damage output while is a dwarf compared to the three weapons mentioned in this video apparently has a special niche that ignores damage resistance. Is this true or is it simply a reskinned Sniper Rifle?
I don't know if I'm right, but I think in v1.8 the Dragons Maw got even more OP then it was before. Yes, no, maybe? Yet, when you did that video, it was still v1.7.2. In my quest teams I try to balance the damage by having one rocket launcher / fat man and two ranged weapons. When I'm fighting tougher enemies I often combine the ranged weapons on one enemy so the received damage minimizes a bit.
Because of that game mechanics may change, Dragon Maw will be on the 2 place, after the MIRV. So if Bethesda adds area damage, 2 vault dwellers with MIRVs will easily kill any mutant or and raider within the matter of seconds. Still, Dragon Maw is a great weapon, and I respect your opinion.
porya sefidary it's the highest damaging of its kind, not very strong but weapons that are already above a considerable amount of damage are legendary, weaker weapons usually have their strongest variant as legendary weapons.
As @Cuck said, I’ll put in aslightly different wording. Legendary weapons generally have a wide spread of damage, like the Lone W. with the spread of 5 (7-2 = 5) and the MIRV with the same spread of 5, (27-22 = 5)
I'm not sure myself but maybe only 1 melee dweller can fight mob at a time, also consider that a critical on the MIRV will hit all targets possibly wiping whole room compared to a critical on other weapon only killing1 person
I think the best weapon is the Lazer musket because when I got it each shot did 10-13 and each attack was 3 shots! And plus had a +6 damage parrot so that means the max damage is a wopps 48-57 : so that might be the best. And regular was 30-39 so this might be the best!
the best weapon is which have best ROF rate of fire with decent damage rate like minigun I took 3 bosses the skull ones rad scorpions with 1 Fatman and 2 Miniguns in 2 go. Correction currently using Rocket launcher all SPECIAL stats are 10 for all 3 dwellers for the mission. Most effective against everyone casue it has area damage and not just single enemy hit. I can kill horde of death claw in 2 shots 3 max.
Out of the three you reviewed, the Dragon's Maw was pretty obvious for the winner. The MIRV seems cool since it hits all enemies, but since the damage is divided by the number of enemies in the room it actually makes it worse against lots of foes, because you want foes to die as fast as possible. Assuming enemies are going to die in about the same total time, the other weapons are going to put down enemies faster, which means fewer hits to your guys (basic video game focus firing logic).
Hi, did you know up to this point a glitch is still alive, a time glitch, wether you are in adroid or ios, it works. Going in the settings and changing time also changes in the game, and helps up the time needed to get a lunch box
idk if im crazy but since 1.8 i have a feeling the mirv has been nerfed, when i go on quests it deals really low dmg, when theres one enemy left it does like 1/4 the damage dragon maw does, its like its doing its same low dmg to one, two, or five enemies. like the dmg is not being divided and distributed amongst all enemies but instead distributed across the room in general no matter the enemy count in the room, were it 1, 3 or 5 enemies. it bugged me so much that i replaced it for vengeance and i find myself having a much faster clear time with 2 maws 1 venegeance insted of 2 maws and 1 mirv, if theres manny small things vengeance just keeps switching to the next. like i had 1 ordinary molerat that mirv took 4 shoots to kill while the maw oneshooted it
i have all dragon's maw for the level 50 quest. i don't have mirv yet i have to make do with enhanced fatman which do little damage and the dweller with that weapon always got damage more because it takes too long to kill one enemy. but now with all of them equipped with dragon's maw i don't have that problem anymore. oh and pet was more effective for level 50 quest.
I’ve pretty much beaten the game so I am just trying to get the best gear for all my dwellers, I’ll probably start crafting dragon maws and what not unless you think that this list has been outdated and I should use something else
"What has been stated is incorrect, given that when a dweller reaches 10 in strength, as written on the wiki, the assigned weapon will always deal the maximum available damage. Max "Dragon's Maw" = 29; Max "Fire Hydrant Bat" = 31; therefore, the "Fire Hydrant Bat" is the best weapon in the game. However, this is only true in the vault and wasteland explorations. During quests, the damage is randomized within the weapon's limits, which would mean that "Dragon's Maw" is better in quests. In fact, "Dragon's Maw" is a heavy weapon, meaning the reload time will be long and not influenced by the dweller's agility. From 14 A (agility), the weapon will always have the same firing rate, whereas the "Fire Hydrant Bat," being a melee weapon, has no reload time, making it faster and better in terms of long-term damage compared to "Dragon's Maw." Of course, the point about gameplay during quests is valid; it's a weapon that is not suitable for solo quests. P.S.: This gameplay mechanic is only present in quests and not in the vault (where the total room damage is taken into account)."
MIRV does 24.5 AoE dmg, thats why i love it :p combine a MIRV with Vengeance and another gatling gun with both dwellers on high agility and you got yourself a 1/2 sec clear seeing as they fire 5 times especially with +dmg pets equipped.
i prefere the gatling laser named revenge or vendetta, depends on how that thing is translated to english, it has basicli one point less than the mirv and it actualy fires multiple times wich ends up in killing 1-2 enemys per round
@ 2:40 - I would imagine that's because its a melee weapon. Basically you're trying to play three different weapon types off against each other, which is pointless. Would be better to focus on type: "Best of Melee/Ranged/AoE" and provided details for these instead. The game mechanic probably only allows one melee fighter per enemy, so this will apply to all melee weapons. This doesn't matter that specific ranged weapon "better" than the melee weapon, it's just proof that ALL ranged weapons are more useful in groups. The third is an AoE weapon - stands to reason it does less damage, since it's applied to all enemies. You're right it saying it's annoying to seen over and again though. As for "best" weapon, it's kinda situational. For example, the AoE might be more useful than the ranged when a wasteland explorer finds a solo quest location: I had one dweller enter Redrocket with a rifle. There were a pack of ghouls inside. She still beat them down with her rifle, but it would have been more efficient if she'd had an AoE weapon available.
Someone may have already brought it up, but i thought i would comment anyway... melee characters can be 'reassigned' a target to keep them from just sulking in the corner.
I want to know what to do to really get good items cuz at the start of my vault you are always rewarded with a legendary weapon, but I've only been rewarded with Wild Bill's Sidearm the rest just junk that is useless at early vaults
I saw your comment about not playing anymore and wanted to let you know your videos are still helping people like myself who are new to the game. Really appreciate it.
i think the best weapon is the rusty BB gun
I'm voting for the Rusty .32 pistol. Stops Deathclaws in their tracks. ;)
Derp Yang true
Derp Yang nah, the .32 pistol is where it's at fam
theawsomeman60 nope definitely the rusty .32 pistol

Maaquchi but if you're sending people completely equipped with maws then that's still wasted damage

I got a rust BB gun once.... I felt invincible ;D
Rusty BB Gun FTW. :p

I like how we can select each character and decide which enemy he or she will attack, especially in case of fighting a death claw. sometimes during quest there is a boss level claw along with 2 or more reg sized. i make all my dwellers attack the big one first. but it works best and fast if all dwellers fighting are level 50 and trained all S.P.E.C.I.A.L. with a better weapon like plasma rifle
once the fire hydrant guy runs into the corner, you can manually tell him to attack something else...
If I understand it, a target can't be attacked by two melee characters simultaneously.
I've settled into Vengeance for the 34 out in the Wasteland for the target switching, and Dragon Maw for the Dwellers.
Keep up the good work man!
Thanks! I never thought this vid would get over 1,000 views. Such a nice surprise. :)
I pulled the mirv from my first lunchbox I ever opened
That's some luck!
@Screw Head713 thats the trick how i got a few fat mans a mirv and power amours in one shelter and in the ohter fire hydrand bat and more
aye awesome series idea. looking forward to more
Thanks. The second episode is out, and more are in the works. :)
Pressing X,you should make a vid about rusty bb gun vs alpha deathclaw that would be a epic bossfight. Btw you can use whatever tank dwellers
Now that would be a lonnng boss fight. I almost want to do it just to see if it goes over 10 minutes. I wonder if 25 stimpacks would be enough....
Thanks I was getting other legends and there attack pattern was so bad but now I know which legendary is good
There is a max amount of dwellers that can attack one target, that’s why they weren’t attacking when there was someone already attacking it.
Subscribed my dude, Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do! :)
can you also make a video on exploring
what outfit to use
how many days it will explore
how to get the best junks
I accidentally selled the mirv at the start not knowing that gun was one of the best guns in the game
I found that giving MIRV X2 WITH + DAMAGE, AND A Gatling just leaves all dead very quickly
Me who though the fure hydrant was bad since i got it on my first lunchbox
I think the reasoning for the Fire Hydrant Bat game mechanic is because it’s a short range weapon.
The theory is there is a finite number of attackers “next” to the enemy.
Definitely subbing. Great content!
Lead Belcher, Vengeance, Guided Missle Launcher is the best combo.
You can select a melee character and target a new enemy. He will engage the new target and your ranged characters will move and continue shooting that target
The first time I played the game the very first weapon I got was the Enhanced Fat Man lol
Wow 😭
I agree. Dragon its the best weapon. I have 23 dragons already in my vault. The other two weapons i have two specimens each One. They are good. But not like Dragons.
Wait So is the alien amplifier thingy even very good cause i got it on my 1st ever lunch box (whatever that is)
My favorite is Dragon's Maw.
Excellent video!
One moment of silence who thought it was armor peircing mini gun
I got the mirv on my first day of playing fallout shelter Lol
Blake Gammon same hahaha
Blake Gammon I can just edit my fallout shelter and give my self as many of anything I want. Even unimplemented or unobtainable items.
Louie Satterwhite How?!
+Alejandro Vigueret Fernandez theres an aapp
genericcat Name?
Started a new vault a week ago just got the quest for the fire hydrant bat pain in the arse when you haven't got any decked characters yet 😂
I actually prefer I MIRV and 2 Dragon Maws, seems to do the most damage overall.
I have never seen a real life fire hydrant bat.
Of the three, Dragons Maw as it can be targeted focus on more dangerous enemies.
+GGnigga Top Laner Lol, glad to hear the vids are helping.
HOW CAN YOU GET 100% EVERYTHING IM PLAYING FOR 3 DAYS AND ITS A DISSASTER
I like to imagine a baby singing your closing music selection.
That's one talented baby! ;)
How is it average damage if its random between the two numbers. Its median damage not an average. But yeah nice vid. ;)
Juan Snow median is a type of averaging, I think you're thinking of 'mean'
I just started and from the boxes I got Fat Man , Rusty Launcher , and armor piercing minigun
Good video, you explain clearly
Thanks :)
I think best weapon is MIRV and Vengeance for quest.
Mustafa Ulukuş well... Your wrong
souls elite it's true I've got em both and they work very well
I don't know if I'm right, but I think in v1.8 the Dragons Maw got even more OP then it was before.
Thanks for sharing this
Sure thing, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. :)
I can't understand legendary weapons , lone wonder is legendary gun btw 2-7 dmg how it's possible even
Can someone explain?
porya sefidary its Just for fun legendary doesnt mean strong right away
porya sefidary it's the highest damaging of its kind, not very strong but weapons that are already above a considerable amount of damage are legendary, weaker weapons usually have their strongest variant as legendary weapons.
Mr Deedle no, the amount of shots total up to 10-13, they do not deal it individually.
the best weapon is which have best ROF rate of fire with decent damage rate like minigun I took 3 bosses the skull ones rad scorpions with 1 Fatman and 2 Miniguns in 2 go.
I go in with 3 maxed out dwellers, all 3 with x01 armor, and +6 damage pets. Using all fat man's, clearing rooms is actually really easy
@@memethief5878 💖 that does sound like a good strategy to make it work more efficiently
How do I get the Dragons Maw?
Is it built?
Your dwellers can find the blueprint while exploring the wasteland. :)
@@Pressingx thanks bro
Great series btw, I absolutely love it
Whenever I get Vengeance I yell VENGEANCE I honour of all the dwellers that died from the death claw attacks
This dude is amazing
Hi, did you know up to this point a glitch is still alive, a time glitch, wether you are in adroid or ios, it works. Going in the settings and changing time also changes in the game, and helps up the time needed to get a lunch box
idk if im crazy but since 1.8 i have a feeling the mirv has been nerfed, when i go on quests it deals
really low dmg, when theres one enemy left it does like 1/4 the damage dragon maw does, its like its doing its same low dmg to one, two, or five enemies. like the dmg is not being divided and distributed amongst all enemies but instead distributed across the room in general no matter the enemy count in the room, were it 1, 3 or 5 enemies. it bugged me so much that i replaced it for vengeance and i find myself having a much faster clear time with 2 maws 1 venegeance insted of 2 maws and 1 mirv, if theres manny small things vengeance just keeps switching to the next. like i had 1 ordinary molerat that mirv took 4 shoots to kill while the maw oneshooted it
some posts said that the dmg is divided to all enemies included dead ones. Sucks :D
i have all dragon's maw for the level 50 quest. i don't have mirv yet i have to make do with enhanced fatman which do little damage and the dweller with that weapon always got damage more because it takes too long to kill one enemy. but now with all of them equipped with dragon's maw i don't have that problem anymore. oh and pet was more effective for level 50 quest.
I’ve pretty much beaten the game so I am just trying to get the best gear for all my dwellers, I’ll probably start crafting dragon maws and what not unless you think that this list has been outdated and I should use something else
the mirv is good when u get attacked by a ghoul horde, cuz that stuff comes in hordes and is very squishy
I didnt even saw this video and i atarted the process to change dragon maws to my standard weapon for alm my vault dwellers
P.S.: This gameplay mechanic is only present in quests and not in the vault (where the total room damage is taken into account)."
hey i got a problem if you noticed in your game. the dragons maw only attack once for every two attacks from opponent,
Hansolo low agility
I found the crafting recipe for the dragons maw
I got two fire hydrant bats and a hardened fat boy in the beginning of my vault play through 😂
MIRV does 24.5 AoE dmg, thats why i love it :p
combine a MIRV with Vengeance and another gatling gun with both dwellers on high agility and you got yourself a 1/2 sec clear seeing as they fire 5 times
especially with +dmg pets equipped.
i prefere the gatling laser named revenge or vendetta, depends on how that thing is translated to english, it has basicli one point less than the mirv and it actualy fires multiple times wich ends up in killing 1-2 enemys per round
For example, the AoE might be more useful than the ranged when a wasteland explorer finds a solo quest location:
I had one dweller enter Redrocket with a rifle.
Hi! First time here. Sent here by the FOS github. Which platform were you playing on?
I use the Vengeance and Lead Belcher.
I want to know what to do to really get good items cuz at the start of my vault you are always rewarded with a legendary weapon, but I've only been rewarded with Wild Bill's Sidearm the rest just junk that is useless at early vaults
I love this Video
Thought which is the best of the mirv and the bat?
Best Weapon: Rusty .32 0-1
