    The official theme song for my channel, “City of Steam”, was originally composed by my friend, Jesse Walsh! Check out the full song here on his TH-cam channel: • [J-MASS THEME] City of...
    Two years ago, on May 15th, 2022, I uploaded my very first video to the J-MASS TH-cam channel. Flash forward two years later, and it’s now May 15th, 2024, and I am still consistently showcasing my many urban exploration and travel experiences! Over the past two years, I have explored a multitude of unique locations in all six New England states, as well as other states, with much more to come! From exploring creepy and abandoned hospitals, mills, and houses, to witnessing long-forgotten ruins and remnants, to experiencing sites of historical and cultural significance, I have made it my mission on this channel to bring awareness to some of the most unique and obscure landmarks in New England (and beyond)!
    In honor of my two-year anniversary of activity here on the J-MASS TH-cam channel, I asked you all to submit any questions you had for me, and you did not disappoint! I received a vast assortment of questions through TH-cam and Instagram, which I will be answering here in this Q&A video! I have always wanted to record and release a Q&A video, so I am beyond excited to share this with all of you! I was asked many great questions, ranging from my urbex experiences, to my TH-cam channel and videos, to my personal life and interests, and much, much more!
    MAJOR THANK YOU to everybody who asked me a question; I truly appreciate it, and I had a blast answering them all! Also, MAJOR THANK YOU to my entire audience, whether you’re new or returning… I appreciate all of you! Sharing my many travel experiences with you makes this channel absolutely worth it to me! It’s been a great two years, and I’m looking forward to many more dope adventures in the future!

      @j-mass well, tbh, last time the regular access point was bricked up in the mid or early 1980s. There is, or was an egress point in the Sub basement of the EM Lowes building, on Main St. (The Palladium), but since Mass Concerts own it .... eh good luck. Fortunately for me, I'm 48, back in the day, my father was a city inspector and state constable , so yeah... it's a toughie.

      fr dude, demolishing it was basically just neglecting and ignoring one of the most historically significant mental hospitals in US history. Also, if you’re gonna demolish it for housing, at the very least build some affordable housing… nope, more high-income luxury condos! Just what we need!

    I had no idea how risky Fernald is getting in 2024, recently I’ve been a few times and nearly get caught every time and I never know who’s patrolling it. Waltham PD? State trooper? Who the hell knows, but now that you say they’re handing out federal charges sucks because I only saw around 5 of the nearly 40 buildings left there

    • @j-mass
      @j-mass  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, it’s ridiculous how bad the security there has gotten. I know people have been getting arrested far more frequently over there than usual. That’s a shame that you weren’t able to see more of the campus!

      Fair point! For full transparency, I’m against gatekeeping; as someone who has been urbexing for nearly 11 years now, I always love seeing new people get into the hobby. That being said, I never give away the addresses or coordinates publicly. I’ve always been interested in the history of these sites, and in my opinion, the towns and states they reside in are integral to their histories.

    31:38 I don’t think they owned it they were probably just bored and wanted to pick a fight and act like they own it some people have nothing better to do I would’ve posted it anyway and restored it back into my camera roll or I probably would’ve just said “you don’t own it” cause if other people have been there there’s no way they claimed it

    • @j-mass
      @j-mass  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed, I don’t think they owned the property either. They were likely just bored or wanna-be vigilantes; either way, I didn’t wanna argue with two armed hunters threatening me 😂

      @@j-mass I don't blame you at all, but I need to say: FUCK those guys. @emmanuelmcdaddie515 is totally right. They were probably locals who just wanted to flex some authority they absolutely did NOT have to tell you what to do. I fucking hate people like that. Again, I do not blame you in the SLIGHTEST for having reacted the way you did nor can I say I would have acted differently. But think, what would have happened if you just said "No" politely to everything they said to you and ignored them. Unless they show you a badge or genuinely indicate some level of property ownership they have no more authority than you do. If they are legitimate hunters with licenses/tags the last thing they are going to do is want to catch an assault/false imprisonment charge by harassing you. And you have a camera to document any crime they could commit against you. Especially since you're just out there taking pictures, not doing graffiti or doing drugs or anything like that. Sorry to be so vehement but I hate Karens who act like this and the fact that they were holding firearms while acting like repulsive Karens make them even worse.
