Acrylic projects on the laser cutter sure are fun. Combining acrylic with wood really adds a great pop of color. Plus, there’s no hassle with painting or waiting for paint and finish to dry. I have become a huge fan and love all the possibilities. This video gives tips for how to use acrylic with tricks, project ideas, and more.

Nick, as always another great video. I love the chessboard. The idea of the double-sided sticky paper is awesome. I use it for layering projects, it makes it easier to assemble. Please keep up the awesome job. Be blessed.
Just found your channel. Really caught my interest, I was looking at trying cnc for wood. Now I have to look at lasers. Look forward to seeing more videos.
Great video. Thanks for your effort. God bless
Wow! That was all incredible stuff!!
Thank you!
Beautiful..
that is alot of arts and crafts, very nice
Thank you so much!
My fellow peninsula brother. Looking forward to this video as always 🙏
So appreciated!
Good video, I also have a P2 & F1 use them all the time. I like your game box's you made from acrylic my grandkids would get a kick out of that.
Great combo!
You are here in Wa state aren’t you!? I love all the acrylic projects you are doing, thanks!
Great video lots of cool content and ideas!
Thank you so much!
im getting a wecreat, hope i can do alot these. i would really like a xtool but the price is a killer
If you left the paper on the acrylic would it still not cut on the diode laser?
Thanks for the video! I’ve enjoyed them. Where do you get your files like the character ones? Or how do you create them? Thanks.
Thank you so much! I mostly find them on Etsy by searching the character name with “svg file.” However, the new XCS software updates makes editing images into layered SVGs way easier.
Make sure you get and pay for the commercial license ones, or those that are royalty free. Stay legal. TH-cam has to report and document infringement, so best be aware of what is legal to use
Hello there. super creative stuff you're putting out here. Thanks btw. Hey, can I ask, what is the greyish looking material in the middle of the Miss Jaclyn sign here: 17:29? It almost looks like either a grey wood or grey stone patterned material?
Thanks! It’s stained plywood.
@@SixEightWoodworksAaah Gotcha
I can't stand the smell of the acrylic when i cut it. I have a omtech 80w with a 8" 750 cfm and i still get my whole shop stinking of horrible smell. how do you put up with the smell? any suggestions
If you know, you know. Brother... I know. When I buy my P2 after the shop is done, your affiliate link is the one!
What about the toxic fumes ie acrylic
Have to be sure you use laser safe acrylics. Also vent properly.
Keep in mind this is for personal use only. You cannot use the names and logos of sports teams in anything g you sell or you are guilty of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, making counterfeit goods, etc. Both college and the NFL, *especially* the NFL, will come after you for legal damages with the low end being $50k in fines, but usually they tend to sue makersfor $250k - $2 million. So definitely don't make or sell anything with those corporate logos. You really don't want to lose your home, car, all bank accounts, etc because you thought they wouldn't notice.
BUT you can contact those teams and enter into licensing agreements with them and the NFL. Again, it will cost hundreds of thousands, but it is legal.
The law is very clear about this, so don't put your future at risk.
Exactly, that’s why I always mention the copyright and IP in these videos.
And remember anything that has a TM/R you can’t sell it with out talking with the company’s that own the rights .. be careful. Could put you in jail
You got it. That’s why I mention it in every video.
