In my opinion any film is totally unnecessary.
ifm12009 the next time you try make sure the screen is clear of ALL particles. Then spay some screen cleaner on your screen. Slap the protector on and once your satisfied w/ the positioning hold down the protector w/ one finger while pushing out the liquid w/ a hard card of sorts. (credit card, driver I.D. etc) once you got most of the liquid pushed out and bubbles are basically gone your good. just be careful when handling it for the first day so you dont move or lift the screen cause its still a bit wet underneath. The second day it will look better and by the 3rd day its like you dont even have a protector on it its so smooth. I do this will all my phones(6 or so 5 years) and it works like a charm.
I like the tune.

I don't have this phone yet, but I'm wondering... Can I prevent accidental edge swipes by disabling it when needed? (in Settings > Edge screen > and turn off ALL (Edge panels, feeds, and lighting). Hoping someone knows this, or is willing to check on their phone.
The Note Edge has a palm detection feature to avoid accidental touches if that is what you mean. I never usually accidentally swipe mine regardless

I wish it was true but I went naked for a few days and scratches already began to appear :/ I am more picky though as I want a spotless phone even thin hairline scratches will bother me.
it's all about avoiding scratches from keys and sands in you pockets.
YOU DO NOT NEED A COVER FOR THIS PHONE!!!!! Seriously people! Actually take the time to read about the phone and you will know. A phone case, yes. A screen cover NOT NEEDED!!! READ about what you BUY!!!! Take your keys and TRY to scratch the glass! TRY!!!!!!! Also, if you use the stylist, it scratches the screen cover.
