Hello, what factor do you recommend to reduce the speed of the rod in the injector in the slowest way? I have the injector on but it expels too much clay, and I have it at low speed but the 3d print is ruined, it does not leave a continuous line but it expels a lot of clay

I was drafting an estimate for a diy ceramic printer, and it was getting pretty pricey. I just discovered that an expensive air compressor was required for that design, so it may be much cheaper to get another ender 3 and modify it with this kit.
This kit pumps the ceramic putty with the stepper motor right? No air compressor is needed?

My black screw does not seem to be turning? Am I doing something wrong? Motor is working.
When I remove the anti-rotation flange, the black screw turns but your video shows the anti-rotation flange is installed during extrusion?

This is our patented design. The anti-rotation flange is used to prevent the screw from rotating. Without it, the screw will only rotate without moving back and forth. Please follow the instructions and install it correctly.

You can pinch the screw rod near the anti-rotation flange with your hand, start the switch, you will feel the back and forth movement of the screw rod, the movement of the screw rod is very slow, but you can feel it.

Wouldn’t it be more practical to be able to plug the cable from printers extruder into the device and then have the printer control how much ceramics is being extruded?
That would also allow you to make a custom cura profile that’s tuned to properly work with this conversion and so you could get much better results without having the ceramics squeeze onto parts of the buildplate where it doesn’t belong

Because the electric putter is a 57 stepper motor, it needs about 3A of current, and the driver of the Ender 3 extruder cannot provide it, so we need an external driver to solve it.

@@Eazao what about a board that takes in the signal from the Ender 3, checks when there is filament extruded and then translates that to your extruder?
The Ender 3 wouldnt power the extruder, but it would still control it. That way you wouldn’t have a constant extrusion and could work much more controlled

@@yourlocaltoad5102 This is indeed a good idea, but the output part of Ender 3 is ABAB instead of STP and other control signals, so the circuit will be more complicated.
