Your craftsmanship is always a delight to view. Every piece is well made and beautiful. That is certainly a Genesis to be very proud of. Aloha. Clayton
Well done, Erniewood!!! That is a beautiful Genesis. You did a spectacular job on every piece, and you've made the Genesis look particularly nice in solid wood. Congratulations on a truly great build. (love those joints in the frame!) Your sequenced video is particularly interesting, too. Aloha. Clayton
Truly beautifully done, BUTTCHIE. Your Genesis is a real "Show Piece!" Excellent video of your build, too. Fun to see how you puzzled together your frame. Brilliant thinking! Congratulations on a great build. Aloha. Clayton
Love the clock! Would you have any finished clocks that could be made available to our museum for display? We specialise in mechanical, moving exhibits and one of your items would be a great fit for our museum. I would love to hear from you. Best wishes, Iain Simmons. The MAD Museum (UK).
Thanks very much !! Your plan was great to work with in the dxf format. Have you got any more of your clocks in this format? I look forward to building another of your clocks soon.
I have searched alot about these clocks and I dont understand one thing? Hour "hand" should 12:1 ratio to minute "hand", however this clock seems to have 60 teeth on hour gear and 10 on pinion, so wont that make 6:1 ratio?
Did you build this with digital plans from Clayton Boyer or did you use his physical plans that he sends through the mail? I have to build a clock for my high school class but don't have enough time to wait for the physical plans to arrive.
You are an artist!!!

Fantastic step by step of the assembly! Thanks!
Thankyou
Very nice
I have a school project and I would love it if you could provide the diameters of the clock and the number of the gears teeth

Thankyou !
Yes the wheels / gears are segmented into eight sections
An original design perfectly executed, my compliments. Could ask if it is easy to set the time if the clock stops? Many thanks for your answer.
Thanks very much !!

Very nice. Did you segment the wheels? I'm working on one of these now.

great job is their any way you could send me a copy of the plans?
Does the pulley make the run time longer? or just for decoration?
Yes, but the downside is that you also have to increase the weight

You are correct but if you have a close look the minute wheel has 2 hours on it!
BUTTCHIE Silly me, indeed there is. Oh well, off to building one of my own...
can i ask what is the diameter of the hour hand? i wanna know if it fits the constraints of my school project so that i can buy the plans
The hour gear is approximately 235mm diameter. Hope that helps.

Jaden vonRentzell I used the digital plans
Erniewood How did you get the gears to be a perfect circle?

Hi, how much does the whole pendulum bob weigh?
I thought this had to be filled with bb lead shot
Not sure how much it weighs, but I think it isn't as important as say the drive weight .
As long as it works and keeps time.
I used the digital plans
