I agree Mark Jackson is a great coach, but Steve Kerr definitely made the warriors, Mark Jackson was fired because he couldn't create an offense around the best back court in the history of the NBA, and Steve Kerr comes right in and implements an all time great offense and they go on to win the championship
Mark Jackson drafted them and built the team but Kerr took them over the top by giving Steph and Klay the green light and freedom to do what you want.

If he had left UNC after his freshman year, he probably would have been a lottery pick. He stayed until he was a senior, & all it did was lower his stock by exposing his flaws. It used to be a good thing to stay in school because it meant you were more experienced & better prepared. Now staying means the scouts have more negative notes on you & you have fewer prime years left.

NBA/NCAA should raise the draft age to 21 and allow underclassmen to get shoe deals, put the money in escrow. Drafting 18-19 year olds is bad for the quality of game. It was so much better when rookies were grown men not embryonic.

I'm lost on why Colin brings up Westbrook every show and it's always negative.
If they ( the Thunder) cant win championships what does it matter how good his stats are. The whole MJ and Lebron debate is based off championships since Lebron has a lot of stats that are better than MJ, so what makes Westbrook an elite or great player outside of the regular season? Plus with all the controversy there is no way to look at this season for the Thunder and say it was a success. The same way with Harden Scoring 30 points for 30 games, if they lose in the second round of the playoffs it'll be irrelevant. You have to look at implications of actions and Westbrook's just don't have as big of an impact as Steph and Harden two elite shooters and Guards in the West. Westbrook wasn't even the best player on his team for a long time and it showed when Durant left. Westbrook is just smoke and mirrors the reality of it is that when he wins a championship or really contends with the best of the west deep in the playoffs and can win, then he can finally be an elite, culture changing player. Until then it's all for show and it doesnt even allow the Thunder a good spot in the draft to help the organization out if he gets hurt or retires within the next 3-5 years. With how good the top 3 teams are in each conference it's not even worth it for him to get traded out East since the Bucks, the possibility of the Knicks if they get Durant, the Sixers and Celtics, if he doesnt go to one of those already three good teams and one possible good team, theres no way he's winning a championship any time soon.

Don’t get me wrong , I love doc. Look what he’s done with a non super star team in the Clippers? Not to mention first year Celtic big 3 championship. Would most likely been back to back if Big Ticket didn’t get injured. However, poor Like is getting the raw end here. The Lakers when they started the season healthy , they were a really good team. They took out the rockets, Trail Blazers, San Antonio, & the warriors. Once suspensions (Rondo & B.I.) injuries (Rondo, Lebron, Ball, & B.I.) it went down hill. I do t think there is another coach that could have saved them. Same core , or a good trade, or good draft pick and being healthy the Lakers will be fine next year. This year has nothing to do with Luke’s coaching IMO
