    You missed the old town, one of the most beautiful areas to visit in Bucharest! You missed many amazing spots, you should come back for more.

    The reason why you don't see a lot of people are: Sunday- they close the streets for people to walk (no cars allowed on some bulevards), July/August- people are on vacation and 35+ degres...people go out after 18:00 when it is cooler and stay out later like later than midnight.

      I noticed the Main Street being closed, it was really like a ghost town in the afternoon! And yes, definitely got WAY busier after 6PM :)

    Curious fact: 7:15 Although they look similar to communist blocks they are not. Those are art-deco blocks from the interwar period sadly not properly maintaned like many other old buildings from the city. With some proper refurbishment, they would look nice.

      I heard the weather has been very bad at home. Not missing it at all, even though it’s been very hot and sweaty here!

    Ur airbnb its prob in a 1930 building , u prob look for something cheaper there and got that v old building sadly.
    All buildings that are taller then 4th floors and where build after 1980 have elavators in Romania.
    Also i noticed u didnt visited the "Old Town" of this city , its one if not the main atracttion in the city full of restaurants and bars and great looking buildings with very nice architecture everywhere u look there.
    Anyway this city its massive in scale u need more then 1 full day to visit most of it .
    and u literally can find some great looking buildings where u dont expect at all, like in a narrow street or something its pretty much pack with these kind of hidden gems, nice architecture buildings.
    But u need to know where to look first ^^
    Also i strongly advise u to visit Therme Bucharest its the Biggest Spa from Europe and one of the most modern one.
    Mostly foreign tourist come here in Bucharest for Therme :))

    • @BenRobson123
      @BenRobson123  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I visited the Therme the night before actually. I did have 2/3 days in Bucharest but definitely didn’t have a full chance to explore it as I was really burnt out my last day, and needed it as an editing / recharge day

      @@BenRobson123i see nice , ya i noticed u got a decent tan :))
      Noticed you dress way to "much" for that hot weather , everyone was in short pants -t shirt u had a black tight neck blouse ^^
      Would die dress that thicc on 36 degree's heat :))

      @@sorinpopa1442 I wear that top a lot because it’s actually very thin and light weight, way more comfortable to wear in the heat than a normal t-shirt!

      The city its huge like size , ya has some old communist rundown parts , that where never refurbish yet ,
      but also some great looking ones ,its a mix between new one fresh build and old historical ones and some old rundown communist ones also ^^
      still plenty of things to do and see in the city but for that u need at least 2 days, because like i said the city its big in size.

    • @BenRobson123
      @BenRobson123  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah, I didn’t think it was worthy of a ‘this is why you need to visit’ video 😄 it is a strange mix of some beautiful buildings, contrasted with some quite rundown areas

      @@carolinepritchard3842you are in the capital of a country tho. 2+ million people bigger than Paris. Comparing it to Brasov is the same as comparing London with Bristol.
      I can understand why you’d felt unsafe, the graffitis and randown buildings can give off that vibe but nevertheless Bucharest is a really safe city. One of the safest capitals of EU

    'Homeless people wondering around' he said, while passing an elderly guy who's clearly not homeless. A bit rich, don't you think, when sadly every town in UK (nevermind the cities) has ots fair share. A bit of humility wouldn't go amiss - oh and show a bit of respect for the places you visit and your audience here - as it is - and do a minimum of research before you go. Stopped watching after about 8 minutes
