Was just there 3 weeks ago and loved it! The vibe, the food, the people and that crazy mix of classic and communist buildings. Would go back in an instant!!!
That's exactly what we thought!! I'm not totally sure what we expected before we arrived, but we definitely got taken by surprise. Bucharest is unquestionably the most different of all the capital cities we've visited. It's just so unique. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our vlog!!!😊

Back in the days like few hundreds years ago Romania was named Dacian Kingdom and was huge It thus roughly corresponds to the present-day countries of Romania, as well as parts of Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
I was just there from April 5th until May 3rd and am upset that I did not stay longer! Loved the people, loved the food, loved the architecture and loved the history!
We stayed almost exactly the same amount of time & felt EXACTLY the same way🤣 We get asked so often what country caught us by surprise the most during our year in Europe & it is unquestionably Romania. I'd not really heard too much on it prior to arriving, but it completely blew us away. We can't wait to get back there at some point to see more of it because we felt like we barely scratched the surface. It's such a great place! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!:)
I'm currently writing a book based on my Summer 2022 Eurotrip. I've been to the UK, Poland, the old Czechoslovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. While Bucharest wasn't overall one of the best places I visited on this trip, I had almost no language barriers and Romania has the best countryside. During my ride from Budapest I was able to see Transylvania and briefly stopped at Braşov. Romania has the best countryside of all the countries on my Eurotrip. Were you able to get inside the Palaţul Populului? I keep trying but they're constantly sold out.

Thank you so much for the information!!! Bucharest is such a cool city. The fact that they shut down the main road through the city so that people could just walk around & enjoy the evening without traffic was such a cool thing. If only we could get them to do that in Nashville!!! Thank you so much for your kind words & support. We greatly appreciate it!!!😊
We loved our time there, but we visited at the end of summer. It might be different other times of the year but I’m sure it’s at least a bit warmer than most of Europe!🤣 thanks so much for watching!!

YES!!!!! You are going to love Bucharest. It's definitely not for everybody, but there are some excellent places to see & experience, you just might have to hunt them down a bit LOL. Have the best time & enjoy some of the great beer!!!
There are Arches of Triumph that predate the one in Paris by some 2000 years and they were mostly a Roman thing. Shout out to Mr. Giant, he reacted to your Sinaia video and that's how I found your channel.
NO KIDDING!!! I wish we could've met!! We were only in Cluj for a couple nights, but we were able to film for a day. The coffee/brunch places in Cluj are some of the best we've found in Europe!!! Thanks so much for finding us & watching our vlog!!!
Thank you!!! I felt like we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get the parliament building in some drone footage. It's such a mammoth building & even in the drone footage it didn't seem real. It's kind of hard to describe LOL. I tell ya what though, Bucharest is such a cool city. So affordable and tons of great coffee/restaurants. That's hard to beat!! Thank you so much for watching & for the kind words!!!😊
I am traveling there next month and looks like there is not really places to go except the park and the palace, nothing spatial at least. Most of the places are generic but nice video anyway. Saved that beer bar, I love beers so I must go there
OMG RANCH IS THE BEST!!!🤣 It's like a mayonaise-based dip with a bunch of herbs, buttermilk, and a few other ingredients. It's probably the most popular dressing in the US but it kinda surprised us when we got to Europe and no one had it. We've literally not seen it anywhere over here🤣 If you ever see it anywhere then MAKE SURE to get some. It's soooo good!!!
Everyone complains that Ceausescu demolished a historic part of the city. Nobody talks about it being hit by a huge earthquake in 1977 and most buildings being damaged beyond repair. It was truly horrible, people were evicted from almost ruined hovels and moved into communist apt blocks.
Hi Matt! We definitely recommend taking a train. It's very affordable & there are plenty of options to choose from throughout the day. Brasov's one of our favorite towns we've visited this year so enjoy!!!

It isn't typically something people use on pizza as it's more for salads, but pizza dipped in ranch is one of our favorites. But we said that in the vlog more as a joke. We never eat our pizza over here with sauce. It's too good on its own. We'll finally be in Italy in a few weeks & we CANNOT WAIT for the authentic experience. Sorry to say this but Bucharest looks too much like some big city in Russia! No mountains, not my type but I still enjoyed your video as always. Looking forward to your next one. I am driving to Brussels Friday and will miss Austria for sure!
Two hours from Bucharest you reach the Carpathian mountains in the most beautiful cities in ROMANIA , the land of Transylvania .. Sinaia, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca , Sibiu , Oradea , Timisoara .Many areas are similar to Austria , Germany, Swizerland!
We've not been to Russia yet but we're hoping to check it out down the road! The buildings definitely have that socialist look though. It was just kinda crazy to see the contrast within each block of buildings. Bucharest is just so unique from most other places we've visited. Romania as a whole is just unbelievably surprising. I can't wait for you to see these next few vlogs Eddy!!!
