Welcome to my Hallstatt VLOG, as I bring you on my experience of the incredible Lakeside town of Hallstatt, in Austria. I will be doing a day-trip by getting the train from Salzburg to Hallstatt. I travelled from Salzburg to Hallstatt by train really early in the morning. I arrived at the the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Salzkammergut region at around 7:45AM, luckily before all the crowds ...

I visited Sachsenhausen which was an earlier experimental camp. You walk through the gates and all you can see is a triangular expanse of concrete, barbed wire fencing, guard towers, and a few surviving buildings. Visiting a former concentration camp allows you to have this perspective on the atrocities committed by using your imagination. Although not much of it remains the best way of getting a perspective on the place is to walk through and read all of the information on experimentation, castrations, mobile gas chambers, the torture methods, shootings, and the development of Auschwitz and the other camps. The main gate also said "Arbeit Macht Frei". At the time I remembered feeling overwhelmed with information and that there was an overall feeling of stillness and coldness when walking across the camp, the same feeling you get when visiting a cemetery. I am a British university student with no jewish connections in my family but It was still incredibly sad to visit.
🎉❤fantastic
The city is great, the locals are rude and unfriendly

This is very disturbing and yet we're still literally gassing billions of sentient, feeling, vulnerable and intelligent beings who can't defend themselves. Watch Pignorant.
go in ohrid
Thanks for sharing
You’re very welcome!
Thanks for sharing your video.
You’re very welcome!
Actually zeppelin hangars were located in the western part of Latvia in a small town Vaiņode. Hangar's metal frame parts were brought to Riga and then like you said - they were made in existing look in 1920's .
Thank you for the correction 😊
What a nice Albanian channel and people using irrelevant terms with themselves. :)
New subscriber. Really enjoying your vids. Started with your Newcastle one as I live there myself. Do you have any issues getting drone shots in these cities. I have a drone myself and would like to capture similar footage.
Fantastic, glad you’re enjoying them!😇 honestly I just try find a quiet spot and chuck it up without people seeing
Sound man, good to know. Keep up the good work. Great content and enjoy the musical score too. Right up my strasse!

finally someone who isn't a complete twat... thanks for your video... well done thoughtful and not full of influencer bullshit with a trendy pork pie hat on...
Guessing I must just be a partial twat 😎😂 glad you enjoyed!
North Macedonia is South Korea on the Balkans…. Full of hate and crimes on ethnically based… north Macedonians have identical crisis. They are Bulgarians but brainwashed by Serbs that are ethnically north Macedonians
Ohrid is such a hidden paradise Might be the best in Europe ❤❤🇲🇰🇲🇰 I’m going tho summer in July I’m so exited!!!!!!
It is beautiful! I wouldn’t mind going back
I absolutely love watching you explore and enjoy Riga and all it has to offer but if you have time you need to go and see other parts of Latvia as well. Some of the cities and towns that I recommend you to visit in the future are - Cēsis (my hometown), sigulda (in autumn) for the nature, caves, castles and multiple tourist attractions, jūrmala - it’s absolutely stunning resort city on the Gulf of Riga - can’t really go wrong with spending some time on the beach and getting some tan right, kuldiga - nice lil cozy and full of history town of Courland - Europe’s widest waterfall is also located there, as well as, one of the Europe’s oldest and still in use brick bridge which was built in 1870’s, Rundāle Palace and Museum in little town called Pilsrundāle - it’s kind of like Baltic version of Palace of Versailles and it was built in 1730’s for one of the Duke’s of Courland I believe and last but not least I also recommend visiting Turaida museum reserve - it’s actually located near sigulda city and it got castles there built as far back as the 11th century so that’s pretty cool - I haven’t been there yet myself but I heard that place is usually packing with tourists. These are just some of the places that comes to top of my mind and which might be worth your time. Last but not least, have you visited the Riga motor museum yet? It got cars from 1910’s, 20’s, 30’s 40’s, 60’s - you name it, they even showcase soviet luxury cars that used to transport soviet leaders there, if you’re into history, cars and antique stuff I recommend checking this particular museum out.
Thank you so much for the extensive reply and recommendations. Sounds like there’s some cool places to visit in Latvia, will definitely keep these in mind for future travels. Thank you 😇

This country goes into the trans-gender category: Those peope identify themselves as Macedonians, but are actually Slavs speaking Bulgarian. As for the Macedonian culture, you have to visit North Greece to find out.
central arcade is stunning, i love it but there's nowt in there :D Grainger market is unmissable as well, fantastic place My advice to everyone I suggest visitinng newcastle to is 'look up', glad you highlighted it
It is stunning you're right!
7:26 this was definitely the highlight of the video 😂 I did not expect that
Ich mag England, genau wie in Deutschland oder im ehemaligen Preußen gibt es Backsteingotik und Fachwerkhäuser 🎉
Great video! Can I ask what time it was when you arrived? Seemed like the perfect time. I’m going to Vienna in September so will recreate your journey
Thank you! I think it was around 7:30… but in summertime you may be able to get an even earlier train, especially if travelling from Vienna! Just it may be busier that time of year, and likely a longer journey from Vienna (though I’m not too sure). Just get there as early as possible if you can! It’s truly special to have the place (almost) to yourself
How can some one be so perfect
Very handsome man indeed
Its beautiful but its NOT the most beautiful in Europe! Not even close! You will understand once you go and visit Prague or Budapest 😉
I’ve been to both, I think I’d place Cienna up both!😁 Though I haven’t been to Budapest for a while
@BenRobson123 Many different beautiful cities choose from indeed👏👏
Jewish quarter is an area I can't recommend enough in Krakow. Bars and atmosphere are brilliant
Didn’t explore that area enough really, did a little my first time in Krakow!
I love Poland and Polish people for having preserved their faith and their heritage. Protect Poland at all costs and keep migrants out! From a fellow Romanian neighbor.
It is certainly a beautiful country
Women concentration camp guards=Hitler a feminist. Hitler interesting. Yes, sent Europe into bloody world war with millions killed. During 1930s, Hitler signed animal welfare laws advanced for time in Germany & Austria. Nazis kill millions, but they're interesting men & women.
That is rather strange isn’t it! Interesting
My grandfather was a camp guard😮

Sure mate,Im from Australia u giving me a lot of inspiration. Love ur work mate.

Hi Ben. Scary night. Bet you were glad to get home......Dublin is expensive and can be dangerous at night. €50 for 24 hrs, including accommodation.....not a hope. I'm glad you got home safely, and I hope that you return soon, but with more money!!! 😊
Yep, very expensive. It was an interesting adventure though! I visited back in December actually and had a lovely trip
Loved the video, makes me want to go visit there.
You should!

Hi 👋🏻 Congrats 5000 subscribers, I’d like to see your traveling video more !
Thank you!🙏
Auschwitz truly is a haunting and eerie place. I went there a decade ago and you never forget how haunted the place feels.
This city will always be Breslau and part of Germany
😮

Really appreciate that, hope you enjoy watching the others too!☺️
Thanks bro.that 's absolutely magnificent.
Thank you!
Loved your perspective on Newcastle! The city's vibrant culture is amazing. For those who enjoy exploring local markets, the Quayside Market is a must-visit. I recently did a walk-through.
Thank you! It is a great city, thanks for the comment 😇
Lovely
The instrumental piece playing in the "wanderer" section is called "Mihriban." It is a very beautiful and important Turkish song. Given the substantial Turkish population in Macedonia, Turkish influence permeates various aspects of life there. As a Turk, hearing the melody of this song in a completely different country made my day. Greetings from Turkey, cheers mate!
Abner bhattacharya. Haven't been to Poland, but hae been to Communist China. With concentration camps, ghettoes & einsatz gruppe shootings, most people who Nazis killed were goyim, count 20 million operation Barbarossa deaths 1941 to 1944 in USSR. But this could anger, but can killing people in gasvans, famine & other deaths in cc & ghettoes sometimes be justified? I think commissar order & killing pink triangle tattoo men in gasvans can be justified. Being victim isn't enough. How good or how bad were victims before their deaths? Some victims especially Soviet commissars were bad people. But ushmm & other Holocaust memorials martyr Soviet commissars (violent people) & pink triangle tattoo inmates (molesters) killed by Nazis, when those 2 cases are broken clock having right time.
What point are you trying to make, exactly? Yes, some people are piles of garbage, that has zero to do with what happened in these places. Defending any of this is rather alarming.
@@PickupsAreNotTrucks your reply read. It has somewhat to do, when us holocaust museum in dc martyrs soviet commissiars killed in concentration Camps, ghettoes & einsatzgrupp shooting, when i think commissar order was justified. There were also soviet spies killed in concentration camps & ghettoes. I also think to extent that killing the pink triangle tattoo men in concentration camp gasvans & ghettoes was justified. Some of the pink triangle tattoo men molest & harassed young boys & by killing them, never again will pink triangle tattoo harass anymore boys. Every june, the holocaust museum in dc, martyrs these filthy pink triangle tattoo men killed in camps & ghettoes. I know the nazis were murderers, but murderers sometimes kill bad people. Defense lawyers in murder cases, sometimes argue how bad victim were before their client killed them. With holocaust, there is pyramid as far as victims go. Most people who nazis killed were gentiles, count the 20 million operation barbarossa deaths 1941 to 1944 USSR vs. Germany. Yes, most deaths are civilians. Even so, civilians killed by nazis, either supported or were against soviet regime, few were neutral. If you were against soviet regime, you usually were quiet r or risk going to soviet gulag. If you were for soviet regime, then you were atleast a fool & in worst cases, you justify soviet terror though you may not do deeds yourself. No, you should not be killed by nazis, as right thing to do is change your thinking & not kill you, but hard to change people, especially the people who excuse soviet regime in 1930s to 1941. Fact is that many civilians who nazis killed supported soviet regime, operation Barbarossa's 20 million deaths. No, they still should not have been killed in cc & ghettoes, but difficult to mourn those who made excuses for soviet regime though they did not do deeds themselves, if they didn't change views. Anyhow, i dont have vested interest as i am not white. Yes, from late 1800s to 1945 germany, japan & italy believed they were greatest & millions were killed in 2 world wars, including children. None of this should've happened, but did. Point is that Holocaust history is a problem, when the 2 groups mentioned earlier get martyred, when i dont think they should be martyred. I hope that answers you. Finally, i am for peace👍
