As much as I *acknowledge there is a market bias towards PSA, I am not a fan of their QC in the least. There is no getting around the subjective nature of most graded collectibles, will be interesting to see how the scanning and computer aided graded changes the industry going forward!
I agree. While I believe they have improved greatly since their early years, I think the amount of cards they are handling has forced them to try to balance meeting consumer demand and quality. AI assisted grading crossed my mind as well while making this video. I know a lot of people hate on it, but it may end up being better than the current state of grading in the future.
The majority of what I grade is for my PC but I personally don’t have an issue with people grading and selling cards. I think many people aren’t actually comfortable grading themselves because they believe their cards will get lost in the mail, they won’t get the grade they thought the card was, etc. so they just prefer to pay a premium, but everyone should be cautious and aware that the grade on the card is not always accurate. Do you grade your cards?
Let me know what your thoughts are and if you have any experience regrading cards yourself.
all part of game. so much value can be tied to 1 man's opinion at CGC or PSA
Agreed. Scary how much power they hold 😂

Thanks man, about to watch you Jake’s latest
Grading should be for personal collection and not speculative or commercial honestly it’s just paper in plastic.

@@omgitstj211 oh man, totally agree with you there. That seems to be the current sentiment right now. Hopefully, people stop complaining soon. 😂
