"Let me tell you something: I'm watching this entire series without being a Pokémon fan. I don’t know how I ended up here, but I’m really glad I did! Like you said, this isn’t about the Pokémon cards, it’s about people coming together for a common goal. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Honestly love the way you interact with children, you treat them with respect, and makes sure the dialogue is always transparent and clear. These kind of interactions do so much for them in the long run.
Jackson and I have been waiting for this Video to drop and he was not disappointed! Glad we could be a part of this journey with you! Thank you for all you do for the community and Thank you for the Memories!
Dang Pat. I can’t believe how much that ending hit when you cut to the fishing footage and tied the whole thing up. I’m sat wiping tears from my eyes over a Pokémon card challenge video. Your story telling is truly second to none on this platform. This series could be the best TCG content on TH-cam and I can’t wait to see you upgrade the cards!
Sometimes you see comments on TH-cam that say “I’m crying right now” I usually think “why are you crying about such a thing” but this was different. He made it look so sad and his “speech” was sooooo good. I may have wiped one small tear🥲
I’ve been a pokemon fan since I was six years old (I’m now 30), and while I never got into the TCG scene (was a competitive battler in the video games), I always has a fascination for people who were. It is truly amazing to see how many times people were so generous during these challenges. From Pat, to kids, adults, vendors, and even complete strangers. Pokémon fans truly are a wholesome community.
I'm in the same demographic of 30's and played the games not the cards but this series has got me thinking about it. Just 1 ETB couldn't hurt right...? :D
I know nothing about pokemon cards but its been so fun to watch this series. Seeing people pitch in and be happy to do so has been so inspiring, especially the excited kids. Seeing a community band together is just fantastic, you don't see that a lot. Truly amazing.
Pat is actually a really nice person who somehow remembers everyone he’s interacted with😭. It was sweet that he remembered Michelle all the way from gen three and still knew exactly how he remembered. Super awesome tbh
Lesson learned from this video, "you need to give more when someone do nice thing to you" like how pat gave jackson the red shirt kid extra cards, "Because we never know when that person might help or save us in the future." and that exactly what happen when jackson came in clutch with that last card... It’s a miracle captured on video.
This truly is a bittersweet moment. I have never been this invested in a series on TH-cam, but seeing it come to completion in such a way has me smiling from ear to ear with tears in my eyes. Great job Pat! And great job everyone involved along the journey here! Truly this community highlights what tcg truly should be but cannot be found elsewhere. I'm so happy and proud of you! Can't wait to see where we go from here!
This is by far the greatest accomplishment in tgc history in my opinion. Not for the rarity or value of the collection, but because it reminds us why we are a part of this hobby in the first place. You managed to bring people together and you gifted joy man, that's unique. I'm not even a Pokémon player and you got me biting my nails lol. Thank you for your effort man, hope one day you give magic a shot.
Finished all this series in one day, amazing journey, totally loved it. Now I want to see gigachad upgraded, BUT PLS SHOW IT ALL! Also I really hope Oliver got something special, he got to be the real mvp today, hops up for that little guy.
YOURE JOKING! I just discovered this series this morning and binged it while working on stuff. And now as a make my dinner i get to watch you complete the collection! Big UPS Deep Pocket Monster!
I love how you are with the kids. It’s so cute. Too often the adults try to rip off the kids or push them aside. You are so nice with them and make sure they have a good experience building up their confidence. ❤
Hey Pat, you made a grown man cry with the last 3 minutes of this video. You’re a modern day Willy Wonka. You’re truly inspirational. The way you had everyone opening packs or bringing you cards… for that last card you needed. And for someone to shout “I got it, I found the flittle!” You truly deserve all of the success and praise from the community and with your family and friends.
I was thinking about doing something like this months ago.. and all of a sudden this series popped on my TH-cam feed. I binged watched all the episodes and got even more inspired to do this. I'm not a TH-camr so I might not go this extreme but it was a great watch! Congrats!!

Top notch series and a great ending, loved how you highlighted how some cards that are not popular are memorial and important to this binder making us remember that it’s not about money value it’s about what value something you collect has to you. Thank you.

Such a wholesome channel and bitter sweet moments. Grown men and women and all kinds of people of every ethnicity and age in general coming together to collect a binder of pokemon cards of all things. That's one big reason why this community is so special to me. Nostalgia aside obviously the IP is big for a reason. Let's get it.
I’m so proud of you Pat for completing this challenge!! I’ve just recently started watching your videos, and funny enough the first one was your Gen1 Chad video! I believe Gen2 was already up by this time but I’ve watched you post Gen3 till now and I’ve been rooting for you since then! I actually teared up myself when I saw you finish because it was a great moment! Also I’d love to thank you, because of you I’ve gotten myself back into the TCG, because my group of Pokemon card players at my local card shop are fun and friendly people, and it was great hanging out with them. Again, I’m so happy to see you succeed this challenge and for you beating Steve! Congrats and I look forward to more videos!
