Sweet! One thing I expected is that this would have been much more aggressive-sounding straight out of the showroom given all the hype and drone footage of it in action.
Question: I was thinking of the Forge turbo inlet (only) for the GRC. Do you think it impact the stock diverter/dump valve since more air is going through from the Forge turbo inlet? It would be primarily for sound, and minor HP as secondary. Also, I was wondering if getting the Forge turbo inlet would give CEL. Would appreciate feedback.
The turbo flutter sounds sick. Is the blue spring the one you ended up using? And is the dump valve link in the description the same one used in the vid? Might return my turbosmart for one of these.
Dude, who usually takes off your wheels? Why are they ground down to bare metal near the center cap and definitely into the lugs area. That’s not a good look bro. No offense. But wow. Who is that careless
I’m loving the gr content but I think what would’ve been nice in the videos for the intake and the blowoff value is if you should it before and after
There's almost no noise from the dump valve stock
Save yourself time and hassle by removing the windshield wiper cowl / support tray. You will have a little over 1ft of space. Enjoy!
Sounds mad! Love the bit of surge 👌

I love that turbo noise so bad, such a good eargasm! But I heard many people say this sounds overtime would harm to the turbo, is that true?

I'm still trying to figure out the hex size of the bov....

Damn this sounds so good
do you need a tune if you just add the BOV? I would love it on mine, but don’t wanna cause any damage.
You do not. I have one installed
@@rev_mitersaware you running the soft or stiff spring??
@@chrisyautos I have the one that came installed by Forge.
Does it flutter like in the vid?@rev_mitersaw
Any issues so far with the dump valve installed?
Nope!
Any update on how it’s doing? Running good??
Running great! We recently made a video at the 12,000 mile update. Check it out!
That silicone coupler is going to ripe open with all that boost over time.
We shall see!
Excited for this new STI… GR Corolla 😅
By that logic it’s the new focus rs and the new evo too
So does the bov make the sututu noises or something else?? I’m trying to make mine sound like that
The kit does come with a more aggressive spring, which you can install to get more of that sound.
@@circuitdemon_is it safer to run the smaller spring or the bigger spring without tune? I just got one and I’m thinking of putting the smaller one
Any videos of the recirculating bov??
If you checkout the last video of the intake install, we show sound clips with the factory recirculating BOV installed!
Did you need a tune with the BOV?
Would be better with a tune, but there are no tuning options on the market right now for the GR as far as we know.
Did a engine light come on? Any performance gains or the same?
Does the engine die or stall with the bov ? Is there any weird rpm flluctuations?
Got that same kit with catback mbrp doenst do whistlers
they have custom intake bits👀
@@kottysimpson sorry for my dumb Question. What is that?
Do you need a tune for all of this ?
Definitely would be better and highly recommended

Enjoying mine
That sneezing would get annoying, with less performance than a recirculating valve. Downgrade.

LOL that's salt...
@@circuitdemon_ haha 😂
@@circuitdemon_ sorry buddy lol
