@@JCWirt well it's a game your correct there but this tuba. Know as tuba mech 963 is found in the books. Were we learn more about the tuba boss past and also tell use why tuba kingdom betray every other kingdom. Also this tuba couldn't be in the game because. The source engine kept bugging and cashing when the developer try putting him in.
@@JCWirt but his theme song is still in the game with the model and some of his attacks. So Maybe one day we will see the mecha tuba 963 be put back in the game with mods.
The Tuba Pilot is probably my favorite boss in the game. Just caught of how badass he is. I love that you can team up with him later on if you spare him.
i love how with every passing day the brass cult gets more and more into this shit producing better and better art and music with how we're progressing i bet in like a year we will have an actual game
"Do you see this? This world you have wrought. An age of endless war, of ever increasing crescendo without cease." "I thought that if I were strong enough, that maybe, maybe a man of power could wrest control and make peace happen. But I've long since abandoned such lofty ideals." "For a soldier like me? The only pianissimo that could be left would be your last breath."
"For too long orchestralis Haas been ringing sevenths and thirds, what makes you think you have the pitch to end the melody lone flute?" " If the melody is in tension then I've got no other option but to harmonize and make it all come back to the root note, even if I lose my tone while doing it"
The battle has ended, or so it seems. You have killed the last tuba warrior in the area and feel safe resting your bow and head before rejoining your Orchestral Arrangement. You start to pack up, but feel a vibrato in your feet. Something is coming. You quickly stand up with your bow at the ready, you scan the wreckage around you for movement, for the glimmer of brass shining through the smoke. A shadow befalls you, you look towards the moon only to see nothing. No light. No fire glowing. You hear a quiet rumble ahead of you. It is already here... You hear a massive blast of sound rush towards you and have just barely enough time to dodge before a hole 7 meters in diameter is gouged out where you stood barely a second ago. You squint into the darkness and see a massive shape budge. You quickly let your Arrangement know your position before assessing the situation. You crouch down, but the beast seems to hear you. It snaps towards the pile of rubble you’re hiding behind and the moon shines through behind it. “It’s massive” you think before it rushes you. Before you jump away, you get a clear look at the beast. It seems to be a massive Brass Conglomerate formed from 25 tubas merged together by some sort of unholy forge, and it has a few arms and legs with no definitive head. You swiftly dodge before a tuba head glows and wipes away every trace of your previous hiding spot. It sees you dodge and lets out a huge blast of sound directly into the sky. From your perspective even the moon seems to shiver. You are quietly stunned. “How did the Legion make this?” you wonder. You decide it is better to fight now and ponder later. You look back to the beast and try to consider possible weakness points, when all of the sudden it twitches and a tuba flies towards you at impressive speeds. You dodge again, but you rolled into moonlight and the beast can see you. It dashes towards you and pounds the ground in front of you, shocking you to your core. The Legion are primarily ranged fighters, so why would they spend the resources creating a beast with this much physical capability? You dash behind it while it is trying to free its arm and see a small glass panel and what looks to be a hatch leading into the beast and without thinking you dive towards it. You grab on to what could be a handle when the beast frees its arm and reaches for its back. You pull as hard as you can on the handle and the hatch opens up to a small cramped area with a ladder leading upwards. Seeing nowhere else to go, you climb the ladder with caution and see a person. AN ACTUAL HUMAN at the top. You are amazed that any human could survive the Musical fallout, much less the Clef Wars. Unfortunately you don’t have much time to be stunned, the human noticed you and was reaching for a tuning axe. But you were faster, you grab the axe and fling it down the ladder before asking the human, “How?” I’m tired so finish this up in the replies
The tuba mech is one of the hardest boss fights ever. Even though it has the worst speed stat in the game the tuba mech has one of the highest attack and defense stats for any boss (Beaten by the tuba devil and the tuba god). The tuba mech has many insta kill attacks up its sleeve and it takes many hits to destroy the mech. Once you destroy the mech (which is the hardest part in my opinion) the tuba pilot comes out. Enraged that you destroyed the mech that that pilot took months to make it charges at you at high speed. The pilot can spawn many weaker tuba robots to help it defeat you. Once you killed all the tuba robots the pilot is a strong as a normal tuba assassin so it should be pretty easy to defeat the tuba pilot. If you spare the tuba pilot (which is pretty hard to do) the pilot gives you a side quest to retrieve the parts to fix the tuba mech. After you completed the side quest the pilot gives you one of the best armour in the game from its gratitude.

Actually there are rare rewards you can recieve, such as a bass drum war mallet, a Xeno trombone slide-sabre, or even a broken maestro's baton, which is used to craft the strongest weapons in the game.

Tubaru, the prodigy child that specializes in machinery and electrical, was separated from his family because of the Great War of percussions. At the age of 26, he escaped from his camp and found his father’s workshop. He then quietly worked on the weapon he would use to gain revenge of his brethren, which is his mech. The mech is an unstoppable war machine and has easily crushed anyone who has tried to challenge it. But unfortunately, with the help of several master class mages, the mech was temporarily disabled and the pilot was brainwashed and converted sides by dark magic. This boss is extremely bulky, but one mistake will make yourself in an extremely bad spot. It is recommended to fight this boss as a half melee and half ranged, as you need ranged weapons to safely hit its weak spots and use melee weapons to deal massive damage when its paralyzed. Fighting this boss is optional, but defeating this boss will convert him to your side, making the final stage bosses way easier. But do be precise when deploying his mech, as it can only be used twice per battle and has extremely long cooldown. Good luck adventurer, may the rhythms of the heavens be with you.
The nod to the Tuba Mercenary actually being a Trumpet Spy at about 3:10 really shows you how much detail was put into this theme, and adds more breadcrumbs to the truth.
"I admire your courage, warrior. Not many could make it this far. Unfortunately, this is your last stop. You can put up a fight, if it makes you feel better; but I cannot let you leave this place alive. The Tuba King wants you dead, and I'm not one to disobey orders. It's been interesting, but it ends here. It *all* ends here." Such a badass. I feel like he's suggesting something in that last bit.
it's a referance to the time travel anomaly in the sequel/prequel if pilot kills mc, the timeline ends and restarts, without mc, tuba king, or tuba pilot, a kamikaze to save the world. But if you kill tuba pilot, you then go on to create the tuba mech to kill your past self to save the timeline, meaning tuba pilot has infinte chances to kill you.
The mech is what’s scary at first glance, but the hardest part of the fight for me was the lone pilot’s sheer agility. I swear, I was stuck for hours while he would flip away from every attack I threw.
Fun Fact: If you read all the notes in the level "Violince" you learn that he tuba mech was created by the son of the protagonist. Yeah. Timetravel. They added timetravel.
Here’s a boss fight guide for anyone who needs it Once the fight begins, equip the Horn stunner. The Horn Stunner actually deals damage to the titan and is the only way to defeat it without getting close. However, this does not stun the titan. For the first half of the titan battle, it’s all about carefully timed rolls and flash-doots. One half of it’s health is gone, it will start to use it’s ranged weapons. The one to look out for BaTuba Blaster on it’s head, it *will* one-shot you. It also destroys any cover that it hits. The rest of it’s arsenal are pretty easy to counter. When the titan is at 0 health, you need to find cover. It explodes and transforms the arena into the fiery ring for the pilot fight. The pilot is very unique in this game because it learns your patterns, favorite attacks, weaknesses, and armor stats. Because of this I cannot help you with the Pilot battle. Have a good day.
The horn stunner's only good in the first half: In the second the Titan's armour drops drastically and there are better weapons in terms of DPS. Not to mention the stunner's slow animation leaves you vulnerable for the quarter tone flurries. My solution: Grind some sax XP, switch to sax in its Transformation animation. Get the double play skill: use your slow attacks to hit h, while the scale runners or the jazz run can be used to counter its flurries amd one shots. This also stops it from damaging cover. Another reason to use sax in this fight is that the pilot is reaaally gopd at dodging. So sax flurries can send too many notes for him to dodge all of them. Also, because of his patterns, you can't dodge his attacks unless you're very experienced, so weakening them with the sax helps you survive. Train on your solo skills, amd start a jazz solo in the pilot fight: the flurry of notes both does constant damage and counters his attacks. If your skills are high enough the solo will continue with minimal player intervention, just keep left mouse button pressed and focus on dodging amd you can beat him. I heard there's some pretty good tanky strategis with the cello and violin too, but haven't tried them. You anyway have to get past the titan, which can demolish most tanks at this stage of the game.

Every boss cannot be a final boss. Especially if you need to fight some after defeating others. Are there really fools who think there's more than one final boss to this game?
Titan: Bass Class: Ogre Primary weapon: UB-18 Fires aacoustic wave that does more damage the longer you fire it and the closer the target is. Hold L2 to release a concentrated blast. Ordinance: concussion mine Press R1 to fire a concussive mine that will damage and stun enemies nearby. Defensive: sound barrier Hold L1 to release a sound barrier that will deflect incoming projectiles Tactical: blowback Cannon Press triangle to fire a wave of sound that pushes targets and the user back. Core ability: Super Sonic Field Fires a wave of sound that heavily damages enemies within range. ( basically nuclear ejection but does not destroy the Titan using it)
Core ability: Super Sonic Doot Fires a wave of sound that heavily damages enemies within range. ( basically nuclear ejection but does not destroy the Titan using it) i think this is better [calling it a connon makes it sound like a ranged weapon]
"Voodoo 1, Piper's on station. Your journey ends here maestro. The stage belongs to me. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide." Standing before you is an opponent never seen before. Of all the tuba grunts and machinery of the battlefield, the Tuba Pilot is the true dominant force. Fast and agile, resourceful yet deadly, none can stand in the way of these soldiers. Sheer walls become flanking routes, buildings become battlegrounds, but their crowning achievement is the bond between a Tuba Pilot and a Tuba Titan. Once in control, a Tuba Titan can only be stopped by an overwhelming force, or an equal. These two have fought together for years, sharpening their skills and their friendship. Young maestro, can you defeat these brothers in arms?
He is the only ally he will have. He is the most powerful ally we can get. Someone tell PikaDynamite to add tjis character already. If PikaDynamite is actually making one that is...
The final boss is actuly inside the tuba pilots brain which you have to enter by playing a song then you gotta kill the tubba god thus ending the bras-pocolips
I take it you've never played an mmo before? More and more bosses unlock as you progress... this game is litterally darksouls on steroids piller men included
I know it makes no sense but I love going full tank melee build against it. Just slugging it out with the model that's 10 times your size just makes it feel anime. Of course you cant do it in a solo run. I spec the team with full healing.
This boss could be fun that way but the build I took for it was the brute force side. Light armor with high attack, if it wasnt for the heal you could get from that builds special i would have died, but the drop he has is one of the best for the brute class, the damage i was dealing after was absolutely insane, I could shred enemies but for the final boss it was nigh impossible because of its damage. Although if you took the riff from the gordon path and mixed it with the ultimate bass you’d have a solid heavy metal build fused with your intense damage. That kind of ruins the fun tho.
Grind your Tank's dex to 75 to dodge the Tuba Mech's AOE attacks. The dodge animation is glitched/funny tho. The guy just stands there like One Punch Man , taking explosions like a champ.
“Brass shaping as man, brass shaping as monster, brass shaping as god, brass shaping as titan...” “The story runs deep, yet the notes ring high. You can’t dodge forever, tiny man.”
"By the power of the woodwind, of the strings, and percussion! I will not allow you to ever truly crush us!" "I stand for freedom and I stand for all thats equal! I will play the song of victory, and bring justice!'
"Don't even attempt an attack, you can't even scratch my glorious Tube Mech Warrior." You still chooses to Attack.. His armor can't last forever! "Then.. You shall die braver than others."

This is the Tuba Archmage's greatest project, the one ultimate tuba warrior, the one with the souls of all tuba warriors you bested throughout your journey, the one who will avenge its brothers and sisters, the one who will make you lick it's boots, its the one and only, Tuba Mech Warrior.
Even to this day, a level 500 player and a grand champion in PVP comp, i still find this boss hard. Like, really hard. Not lots of my strats worked well, and even the ones that did, other people couldn't do that well. But 1, was amazing. Here it is: When the pilot is in the mech, use tubombs C4 edition on the legs, the BOOK it, as if you don't you die in seconds. Then, explode the tubombs. Avoid the mech's fall, then use tubombs on the pilot. Block his attacks with the protective tuba, while attacking with the heavy tuba. If you don't have the heavy tuba, get it before the fight. Once he gets back in the mech, repeat the cycle until the pilot dies. I am so glad there is no phase 2, if there was i would have to make 2 strats for the boss, like i did with heavy tuba gunner. Anyways, you're welcome to use this strat, but if you do on camera, credit me. You're welcome. Edit: No, i am not THE grand champ, just A grand champ
Problem with the heavy tuba, if you miss a block, the pilot's lightning speed will bring down half your health before you can recover your stamina. that's why I use the cymbal sheild; it has a good block and recovery speed while being light enough to carry extra health potions, a little difficult to get it though. and it breaks if you try to block the mech with it.
Yeah, I had that same stamina problem with the heavy tuba. The Brass Knuckles, your default melee, actually work quite well on the pilot. It's a bit hard to pull of; you need to go directly to the side of the pilot's dash at you and hit a few hits. The Cymbal Crash also works well, stunning him for a brief moment, where you can hit him using the Brassbat.
And in that Moment I could feel it. The Solemn Notes of a Falling Goliath As a Titan Struck the Floor. My chest swelled, Nay, Burst. But not with Pride. I had not Saved anything. I Had Not protected a Soul. I had instead Ended one of the Most awe-inspiring Creatures the Kingdom of Brass had Ever known. As my Grief Consumed me, I could still feel the hair standing up on the back of my neck. Awe inspiring indeed.. and it was Intent on reminding me just why that Title Stood. " Euphonius , The Ever Standing " And So they were.
I was wondering why the Tuba Pilot were collecting all that brass during the main story. But with him being the final boss of the Walking Brass DLC, now we know
Fun fact: If you defeat the tuba collosus before fighting Tuba Mech + Tuba Mech Pilot Clef, Clef will comment, "That lumbering hunk of rusted metal you fought before is nothing compared to the might of my Tubandum!" during the first stage of the battle.
KiwiVibes If you have the brass artillery, brass air strike, and brass tank brigade support slots equipped and fight the mech you get the secret acheivement: "Combined brass warfare"
@@vts0361 he also gets 3 times as strong in final tuba pilot phase as oppose to 2x if those conditions are met. Worth it if you're a completionist though
The figure hops out of the crumbling machine, no less than a second after touching the ground he turns around and puts his hand on the titan. Then his head snaps back in your direction. Staring at you ,the maestro finally realizes something, he pauses for brief moment t before speaking, carefully considering what he is about to say next. "You know, I finally see truth in your words maestro; this kingdom will never be big enough for you and I to coexist!"
You gotta sneek atound to its back side via rubble then shot a grapple on its head from behind. When you get to the top you gotta make a swift stroke of a sword and go strait into its eye thus killing it
What people don't understand about the bosses being so much harder during the final act of the game is that your party is split in two, three of your party assist the woodwind, precussion, and string forces against the Brass army, lead by the Tuba Mech, while two others (The Main Character Maestro and your party's healer, depending on either you go to the string forest or precussion grounds first) to confront the King. after each battle you switch to the other side of the story, eventually leading to the two final bosses of the game, the King, and the Pilot.
SECRET GAME LORE! Once you take down the 3rd of 5 recharge pillars that power the Tuba-Mk1 It will fall down briefly, once this happens, you can climb inside its frontal light core (you have to be fast) You will travel through the labyrinth, if you want to succeed, you have to be fast, as it will tear itself apart trying to rip you out. If you succeed, you will eventually come across the central power core, if you go close the the glowing ball, the game will crash, but for a glimpse, right before the game crashes, the ball will turn clear and you will see a glimpse of a broken trumpet, rusted, unable to move, some believe this is the soul of the original trumpet that possesses this abomination, others believe that it was simply a forgotten unfinished part of development, ill let you be the judge of that...
Originally a mass-produced sentient weapon during The Tuba-Trumbone War 3000 years ago, it was the last of it's kind to be made and also the last one to exist.
The mech you see is a perfect example for perfecion of magical engineering and brass engineering that Tubas are able to handle. Known as the Tubatron it was used by the Tubas to unite the Brasslands and in their crusades against Acordians
As he kneels on the floor, you see an inch of a smile on the Tuba Pilot's face. "Do you really believe, my friend, that he will let you do this to me?" He asks, his breaths slowly returning to normal frequencies. "Who do you speak of?" You ask him, your concern rising at an alarming rate. Before the pilot can answer, the roof suddenly collapses in on itself. As the dust clears, you see a large mech, it's size almost comparable to a dragon, standing before you, it's weapons at the ready. The Tuba Pilot reveals a med-kit. "BR-455, show our guest what you're made of."
*The Tuba Mech:* The renegade god, monolith mech made of god and brass and the last line of protection. Once when the conductor waved his baton on the mortal realms, the Tuba God and his people suffered and they loathed the conductor. In primordial times a concordate was agreed upon the four gods (Tuba, String, Wind, and Percussion) that left the Tuba God with the worst realm, he had dominion over the Tuba instruments and every day they would suffer pains for their heads were too long and they suffered droughts and famine regulary. The conductor was distant with the Tuba God and most decisions that should've been made by the Tuba God for his people were made instead by the conductor. The Tuba God would declare a war with the gods only to be destroyed, his people would construct a brass mech that could absorb his fragmented form. This made the Tuba Mech, which is still to contemporary day worshipped daily by the highest echelons of Tuba society and held by the Tuba Cardinals, even the inauguration of the new Pope is held near the site to pay respects.
manga spoilers down below When rifleman brass tuber fought rifleman silver tuber, only to realize it was his father had me crying. Nobody should have to go through that betrayal whether your my enemy or not. And just when we thought they could've been united, rifleman silver tuber permanently, PERMANENTLY fused with his mech. With that power boost he was able to make it so brass tuber had to retire after that fight, but it came at the cost of his own life. He killed himself to kill his son, honestly who knew what dire situation the silver tuba clan was in. We were only fighting because we wanted to protect what we loved. Who knew these were the consequences.
"Sorry kid. Can't let you pass. I'm all for combat and fights, but what you did in the acoustic kingdom? There are some lines I wont cross. There were good people living there. And you stopped that. Engaging Brass Cannons. Initiating sonic thrusters. Lets dance Maestro."
"An Ancient Mechanical Wonder from a bygone age and long forgotten by the flow of time. It was found buried deep beneath the royal catacombs and unearthed by the Brass Mage while expanding the Grand Brass Tower foundations . The Tuba Mech is gigantic behemoth that could only worn by those who could play its tune that exhausts all the lungs that plays it. Only the Pilot was said to have the lung capacity to make it move to satisfaction but analysis showed that its still not fullpower and could perform feats yet unknown to the current age. It is a wonder how such a Brass Giant was ever built"
If somebody makes a game based on these, it should be a rhythm game where you go back and forth between these boss songs, and a sort of 'anti' version of the song, which the player would be trying to time. the songs would be voted by/created by the community.

But you were faster, you grab the axe and fling it down the ladder before asking the human, “How?”

I noticed it as soon as it started
And those that felt the power of his brass named him. . . .The DootSlayer

There’s a game?
Here’s a boss fight guide for anyone who needs it
Once the fight begins, equip the Horn stunner.

Sheer walls become flanking routes, buildings become battlegrounds, but their crowning achievement is the bond between a Tuba Pilot and a Tuba Titan.

Here it is:
When the pilot is in the mech, use tubombs C4 edition on the legs, the BOOK it, as if you don't you die in seconds.
And I thought the tuba archmage was difficult with its aoe doots. This sounds terrifying...
The Cymbal Crash also works well, stunning him for a brief moment, where you can hit him using the Brassbat.
they updated it now there IS a 2nd phase

This feels like one of those bosses in a game that are 'impossible to kill', so they are stealth missions instead.

When rifleman brass tuber fought rifleman silver tuber, only to realize it was his father had me crying.
