So how's it supposed to help? Pretty sure I could have got in that spot in one go without park assist which needed two goes at it, and I wouldn't have been so hard on the tyres either (why is park-assist 'dry steering'?)

in fairness to tim c, it does seem like this process will take longer, and in the process just slowly meat away at your ability to judge distance
