    I think it’s so stupid where most auto makers are discontinuing sedans. Yes every one wants SUVs today but peoples taste changes I think pretty soon sedans will be back in demand. Chevy should just make enough Malibu’s to meet demand and Buick too with their sedans. I heard Cadillac claims they’ll never discontinue they’re sedans but we’ll see how long that lasts

    • @joenathanz7474
      @joenathanz7474 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      but in china chevrolet & buick and other manufacturer still produce a lot of sedans. so it's all about the country's demand

    • @JDMSwervo2001

      Nah the Americans stopped making sedans. The Korean and Japanese are still making them. Also the accord and Camry are about to get redesigned

      I much prefer a sedan over any SUV. It's sad that a lot of manufacturers are discontinuing their sedans. My last car was a 3017 VW Passat (unfortunately it was totaled in a crash), and VW, instead of a redesign, d/c'd it.

    Just bought one - same color. 2022 is last year for Premier and 2.0T and 9 speed automatic transmission. Next year - 2023 has 1.5 turbo and CVT transmission. We love ours so far - very quick acceleration and loaded with tech.

      Hi bro, im considering buying 2.0 malibu but im a little bit worry about built quality. In my region Toyota camry hybrid and Honda accord sport are both 42 grand. Malibu 2.0 is 34 grand that's a huge difference and I'm in love with the engine and gearbox of the malibu. But as i mentioned earlier I'm a little bit worried about overall quality. What is your experience and what do you suggesting me to go for??? Thank you in advance ❤️

      @@amirjafariasl6974 I have had Chevys for 40 years and have never had a bad one. Quality has always been great. 2.0 Turbo engine is used in many GM vehicles - just change the oil with high quality synthetic every 5,000 miles. Malibu is a solid car - I traded in a 2009 Malibu LTZ and it was still running great. Just wanted a more modern car with a backup camera. I am partial to sedans - and this is the last one from Chevy.

      I have a 2018 Impala LT with the V6. Just hit 120000 miles. Mostly highway miles to and from work. So far the most expensive repair was the air conditioning which ran about 900 dollars, but it's been a good car. I bought the car with around 41000 miles on New Years day of 2020. Regular oil changes, on my second set of tires, just had the spark plugs changed. Hoping it lasts a long time.

    Thank You for this review. I have been looking at this model for a while now, but you explained everything much better than the dealership salesman did. But he did not sell me on it, but your review covered everything I wanted to here. How does the ride compare to the 2023 Nissan Altima either the SL or the VC-Turbo? The Malibu and the Altima are the 2 vehicles I am thinking about. Again, Thank You Much.

    • @NothinButCarReviews

      So I actually had a 2016 Malibu LT with Leather while my partner had a 2017 Altima SR. Malibu ride quality is the best in the segment in my opinion. Altima is okay, but especially with the 18-19" wheels, ride quality and road noise were quite a nuisance for me. I ended up buying another Malibu (a 16 Premier), and even with the 19" wheels on it, it always road extremely well.

    To bad the 2023 malibu only engine pick is a 1.5t 4 cylinder with a cut, like atleast give us the option for an 8 speed or 9 speed auto now that you discontinued the 2.0t. I want to see the 2.7t 4 cylinder in the malibu, the same one used in the ct4 or silverado, like imagine having a 310 hp or 325 hp malibu, and it would be similar to the power the impala v6, the flagship had
