Congratulations again for your excellent videos. I am writing to you from Chile and I also received the update from Verizon for an LG V60 bought in the US by ebay. I have not used the phone much yet to see differences with Android 12, but at less, the phone works correctly...
There's a huge difference with the Verizon A13 update as compared to the T-Mobile update. There's no app trash, the themes and wallpapers have not been updated, there's no update in the camera app (no magic eraser or other new camera features), no quad DAC update.. 😢😢😢😢
in my lg v60 verizon version it works much better, there are no new issues, it is true that some things are missing compared to the tmobil version, but it improved a lot, it gets less hot. The system is more fluid.

My LG V60 phone is on Tello and my daughter's Android device is on t-mobile. Tello does not have Android 13 updates. If I take her SIM card and put it in mine, should I be able to update my LG V60 to Android 13? My finger print actually froze my phone before the Android 13 update I had to let the battery die until I can turn it on again but ever since the update my fingerprint sensor is working amazing

Man you know how much money I spent on the LG store ,they took it all the way gave us some crappy ones probably like $100 worth of stuff I paid for in the LG Smart world store and they won't let me use it on my phone and I still have T-Mobile

Nice one! I don't think those A13 update features are on the Verizon variant. I'll do a backup, then factory reset my phone to see if anything changes. However, I'm happy with the improved fluidity of the phone as well as the improved fingerprint since my usage and preference for the other (missed) features are just basic.

I just got a new update for my V60 from Verizon today which I use in Germany (May 2023 security patch)! Super happy about this - let's see how long LG will supply us with more security updates. Hey, I'm experiencing a strange charging glitch after android 13 on my T-Mobile LG V-60. It seems to charge very very slowly unless I power it off when it was charging fine before. Do you know what could be the cause of this problem and what solution do I have to make it charge fast without me having to power it off?
@@TheTechPreacher I have a lot of data on it. Is there any other way? This happened after I played a lot of genshin impact on the highest settings and got the battery below 15% & still played for a while. After that I put it to charge, but when I came back after an hour or two, it was hardly 30% and it took a lot of time getting to 50. It was really hot that day too.
Well I'm not sure if you will save all your data you can try to do a backup but I'm not sure if 100% of your saved game play will save. Sorry for the bad news

I never said that remember I've been a strong supporter of LG bringing all the news that I know when LG came out with their statement before closing in 2021 their stated the v60 will get android 13 so I never said that. Maybe you have the wrong channel. Please review my videos. Thanks for watching

Brother I am from Pakistan..I have Softbank varient and it has black crush and green tint issue specially on low brightness which is very much annoying..... secondly Softbank has not even updated it to android 12 nor would they......How can i convert it to T mobile, Verizon or Global varient ??? @@TheTechPreacher just found out I needed to hold down both buttons on the pen at the same time to reset it back to some other program and it started working again. Sad about the high res Netflix though.
Most phones battery drain fast with 4 hours of intense gaming. My almost 2000 dollar Galaxy z fold 4 can't even make 4 hours of game play so congratulations to you getting great battery life

@@TheTechPreacher thanks for the response. I figured it out. I just had to connect to a wifi network. I'm currently on Android 13, but I'm having a couple of complains. There's no option to edit pictures from the gallery app. I can't even crop or rotate. The pencil icon is only available for videos but not pictures. Is there a solution to that? I don't want to go downloading a third party app that will add lots of step to a simple task. Thanks

Unfortunately you need a VM sim and service to get updates. TM don't require active service to get updates

I did the update it didn't pop up had to check for updates but seems faster and the hifi quad Dacs seem to be even better sound quality

Most phones battery drain fast with 4 hours of intense gaming. My almost 2000 dollar Galaxy z fold 4 can't even make 4 hours of game play so congratulations to you getting great battery life

@@TheTechPreacher thanks for the response. I figured it out. I just had to connect to a wifi network. I'm currently on Android 13, but I'm having a couple of complains. There's no option to edit pictures from the gallery app. I can't even crop or rotate. The pencil icon is only available for videos but not pictures. Is there a solution to that? I don't want to go downloading a third party app that will add lots of step to a simple task. Thanks
