I finally cracked the 3,000 public hour mark. December 7th will mark 1 year since posting first video on TH-cam. What a journey it has been. I have felt my channel was dead hundreds of times, keep at it everyone!
I used to get 2-5 views only on my YT shorts. As soon as I uploaded my 35th short, it went viral like crazy, got like 30k views in a few hours. Then, a few days later all the ones that were at 2-3 blew up in the few thousands of views. The key to success as a creator is to never give up and be consistent with high quality content
Facts bro consistency is key I have very little subs now but confident it will grow more and you just reassured me of that. Whe I started posting I was only gettin just as much 2-3,5 views zero like all of a sudden in the new posts I saw 2k+ 1k+ then I realized the future holds something great

What if my videos before I monetize my videos have copyright on them. Can I just make profit from my new videos that I make afterwards that don't break any rules?
It’s worth mentioning once you reach the required subs and watch time, you have to maintain them numbers. If your watch time goes back below the recommended hours you’ll lose your monetization
I currently have a trucking channel with almost 6000 subs and it’s monetized. I’m not doing trucking anymore so don’t have content to post. I started a cooking channel but idk if I should use the trucking channel and just change the name or just keep going with this brand new one. Please advice

No it doesn’t so far I gotten 3-5 warnings for copy right music and still hasn’t counted as a strike I believe it tells you in the email you receive

Keep the subscribers and the next year try to hit that 4k mark......it's within the past 365 days so it doesn't go by calendar year.
