@@samkohlo9158 you probably just killed them before they had the chance to lay eggs by themselves XD in the OG the DID have a chance to drop eggs after you killed them too of course.
16:30 Fun fact, the dog is called Hewie because he's most likely Hewie from the game "Haunting Ground" which is another game made by Capcom in 2005. It's about an 18 year old called Fiona trying to evade four stalkers with the help of a dog she meets (Hewie). It's unclear which game comes first, my headcanon was that RE4 came first and Hewie gets his happy ending with Fiona after helping Leon. But the remake seems to have changed that. EDIT: Hewie lived I'm so happy. Capcom needs to make a Haunting Ground remake next PLEASE
It's a holdover from an earlier build of build of RE4. Leon was to meet a girl with strange abilities accompanied by a white dog. That build was scrapped and they used bits of it to make Haunting Ground/Demento.
If I remember right, one version of RE 4 ended up becoming devil may cry…. So in trying to get the 4th game right they made 3 games in total… 2 entirely different games (one sparking its own series), and the game they first set out to make…
Actually the remake does still have the dog! In fact, he's hurt out the back of the house Sean was in at the end of the episode (he pops up at the beginning of the next chapter on the players' way out). I really hope Sean finds him
So, someone has probably already said it but if you’d like to know the Spanish from this episode and to answer Séan’s question, yes Séan “¡un forastero!” essentially means “an outsider” and I believe the other line that Séan is trying to say is “Va por el” basically meaning “go for him” or “get him.” “¡Allí está!” means “There he is!” And “Sé que estás allí” means “I know you’re there.” And I think the longest phrase he tried to repeat was “Puedes correr pero no te puedes esconder” means “You can run but you can’t hide” The other one he said he didn’t know was “¡Coño!” which if I remember correctly was not in the original and is a vulgar slang term for female genitalia but when used like this is a way to swear similar to “Fuck!” or “Damn!” And finally probably my favorite line from the original that he mentioned was “Morir es Vivir” which means “To die is to live” really cementing that the “las plagas” virus (the plagues) is not just a parasite that controls but a very deep cult of zealots to Lord Saddler It is very strange not knowing Spanish when playing the original and now knowing Spanish while playing the remake and looking back. For me it gives it an entirely different feel and atmosphere. It’s also a little weird to me that the villagers are called ganados in the original since that means “cows” or “cattle”. Lord Saddler fattening them up to slaughter.
I also heard "Lets break ____ " I couldn't hear the rest. Also, the phrase justice is nigh in Spanish is la justicia esta cerca. I also remember in the original game when you go in the castle the creepy hooded dudes would wander around the grounds and say stuff like "Yo quiero matar" which means I want to kill. I grew up hearing and speaking Spanish so for me it really wasn't that big of a deal when the original game first came out. It was kind of wierd hearing Spanish spoken in a Resident Evil game though.
@@cynthiavaldez5941 yeah, “Voy a romperlo a pedazos!” is a common one they say that I must have missed in the episode which for those that don’t know means “I’m going to tear him to pieces” also a small correction is that the symbol in the beginning said “Se acerca el juicio” which means “judgment is nigh” which is funny that almost every non Spanish speaking people I’ve watched play this pronounces juicio like juice-ee-oh instead of the J making an English H sound
Scrolling through the comments, I cant help but love how happy this game has made so many people... people reliving the moments of nostalgia and the escape that this game gave them, is a priceless thing... its so awesome seeing Sean get to experience it and give us who cant play it, the chance to be a part of it!
It's so incredible to have a super hyped up, next gen remake of one of the best games of all time. It literally changed the genre, games have been copying it for decades, and peoples expectations are through the roof, as they had the balls to say "were gonna make it again, but better" and.. IT DIDN'T LET US DOWN! That's so crazy. It so easily could have been disappointing, even if it was still good. But they nailed it. They did the impossible and delivered literally what I imagined it could be.
@@DylanZ1201 it comes down to what you like more. Re2 is about replayability, managing your time, the puzzles, your ammo and Mr x and the zombies. Re4 is about a linear action shooter with zombies. Just give Leon the dodge from re6 and make it perfect like re6 was. For me, i jump back and forth. Between loving re4, re5 and re6 most of all cuz of the Amazing action, and loving the slower re1 and Re2 remakes (re3 remake is sub oar and too short. I don't like Jill in re3, her outfit sucks. Or Claire honestly. Leon is my boy and in all the best re games with Re2 and re4, and the best campaign in re6). I really hope Re9 is gonna be a mainline game Instead of a shitty cliche american trash side story that almost killed resident evil (re7 and Re8 sold like shit compared to re5 and re6, with re5 and re6 selling TWICE as many copies at launch compared to re7 and 8. The re engine and super short campaigns with no extras made them save money). Maybe they can finally let us play as Chris instead of teasing after such a long time. Crhis is the only character we didn't get to play for more than a decade. Leon: re2remake and re4remake Claire: re revelations 2 and re2 remake Jill: re revelations and re3 remake Chris: 5 minutes in re7 and 10 minutes in re8. He needs a whole game cuz everyone else got 2 games dedicated to them. Now watch Capcom giving us a female protagonist for re9 and Chris gets nothing yet again. And then they surprise us with code Veronica X remake cuz Chris ain't getting a game.

i have never seen the original RE4, so hearing Jack's enjoyment on how the remake maintain it's original essence whilst still different, it's so fun to watch him play.
How can you have never played RE4! Its literally a cornerstone of gaming. Most shooting games tried to copy it for like a decade or two after it released. It changed the genre. It's a little clunky now because they've had so many years to smooth out the formula, but DEFINITELY worth playing. It's pretty cheap too. I know this game is the shiny new exciting one, but after you're done with it.. check out the original sometime.
@@karenamyx2205 RE4 original is my favorite game of all time, but unless people enjoy tank control 3rd person shooters, they really have no reason to play it anymore now that the remake is out.
I just have to say that the similarities in the way sean responds to the game and changes implemented matches gab's reactions! I was cracking up after watching both sean and evelyn react to 'e' being the new crouch button, both made similar faces and remarks, golden!!

So, someone has probably already said it but if you’d like to know the Spanish from this episode and to answer Séan’s question, yes Séan “¡un forastero!” essentially means “an outsider” and I believe the other line that Séan is trying to say is “Va por el” basically meaning “go for him” or “get him.” “¡Allí está!” means “There he is!” And “Sé que estás allí” means “I know you’re there.” And I think the longest phrase he tried to repeat was “Puedes correr pero no te puedes esconder” means “You can run but you can’t hide” The other one he said he didn’t know was “¡Coño!” which if I remember correctly was not in the original and is a vulgar slang term for female genitalia but when used like this is a way to swear similar to “Fuck!” or “Damn!” And finally probably my favorite line from the original that he mentioned was “Morir es Vivir” which means “To die is to live” really cementing that the “las plagas” virus (the plagues) is not just a parasite that controls but a very deep cult of zealots to Lord Saddler
It is very strange not knowing Spanish when playing the original and now knowing Spanish while playing the remake and looking back. For me it gives it an entirely different feel and atmosphere. It’s also a little weird to me that the villagers are called ganados in the original since that means “cows” or “cattle”. Lord Saddler fattening them up to slaughter.
Я не hablos по-spanish

It's so incredible to have a super hyped up, next gen remake of one of the best games of all time. It literally changed the genre, games have been copying it for decades, and peoples expectations are through the roof, as they had the balls to say "were gonna make it again, but better" and..

Leon: re2remake and re4remake
Claire: re revelations 2 and re2 remake
Jill: re revelations and re3 remake
Chris: 5 minutes in re7 and 10 minutes in re8.
He needs a whole game cuz everyone else got 2 games dedicated to them.
Now watch Capcom giving us a female protagonist for re9 and Chris gets nothing yet again. And then they surprise us with code Veronica X remake cuz Chris ain't getting a game.
