If you want to splice directly for a 2022 Kona you will need to get behind the radio. Forget about splicing in rear speaker wires, there are many same color wires. It's easier to remove the radio. For the subwoofer you splice into the large Connector in the lower middle into the two top biggest wires that are Yellow and Brown and the two lowest that are gray and orange. Pay attention that the yellow is Rear Left+, brown RearLeft, gray RearRight- and orange Rearright+. This means that the top wire toward you when you hold the plug (yellow) is + but the lowest (grey) is -. Took me some research to be sure and it works great now.
Input 8' run of speed wire goes from the male end side of the T harness to the inputs of the line out converter. Output 8' run of speed wire goes from the outputs of the amplifier back to the female end side of the T harness, sending that newly amplified audio to all your speakers.
Yes, if you have an aftermarket radio, no need for a line out converter or Pac T harness at all. Use RCA cables from the radio to the amp RCA inputs, then use 9 conductor cable speaker wire from the amp outputs to the radio harness adapter speaker connections (and just cap off the radio's speaker output wires as they won't be used).
Do you think two speed wires are able to fit under the side panel of A car because I will need it for my amp in the trunk that’s why I was gonna go with the extension that goes with the advanced harness that extends 17 feet it’s smaller and not as thick but also not protected so potential risk of damage.
Just came across your video, I'm curious as to why you used the lc7i and not the lc5i pro. I have the same vehicle, gonna be running the alpine s components and coax, audison 5.600 and the skar 12" bass tube. Need advice on the difference between the two lc's. Thank you very much.
As much as I dislike Hyundai/kia, they are absolutely perfect for hiding the amplifiers. The Hyundai accent has the most room under the seat out of all of them! Managed to fit an lc2i, distro blocks, a 4 channel and a monoblock there under the drivers seat with room to spare!
The t harness on pac site says 2022 Kona. Does it work for the 2023 with 10in display, non Harmon system? Thanks for the video. Just the info I was looking for.
I need help PLEASE. I'm trying to upgrade the radio and add a backup cam to my 05 GMC Yukon Denali XL on a VERY SMALL budget. I've bought a CAMECHO 7" Double Din Car Stereo with camera on Amazon for cheap. (Not knowing what I'm doing)... Now i cant figure out which adapter I need to connect with the factory Bose system.
Hello Provo. I'm thinking about getting this amplifier for my 14 accord. Is the lc7i really going to improve the sound quality or is just a waste of money. I'm running 4 Alpine s2 6.5c by the way. Thanks
Would I be able to use a compact amplified subwoofer like the Boss BAB10? Would also power my speakers, giving my speakers a bit of boost? I only upgraded the speakers so far & it’s lacking the power. The stock speakers seem to have more power for whatever reason.
Parts used linked in the description of the video!
Have the same link for Bass knob and 12" Sub in the description
Thank you, it has been fixed.@@adrielm1920
@@ProvoBeastAudio Thank you! I was interested in the sub 😁
5 Star Audio skills 😉nice job
Can be an amplified subwoofer installed?
Yes, buy the Pac harness and connect there.

Great install there. Dusty engine bay though. How do you remember which speedwire goes to where, please Chris?

Can I skip the line out converter and just connect rca cables from my aftermarket head unit with rca speaker outputs to the amp?

Tape the harness.

This was filmed right before the lc5i pro was available. The Lc5i is the better fit.
Can u hook up subs in a 2020 hyundai tucson without going in the back of the radio. My suv also has the infinity surround
Is it possible to use the t harness on a Hyundai i20 from 2023??
Check to see if Pac has one
Love your videos. Could you post some of the tools you use or ones you suggest. Thanks and great work.

Why do car audio installers not just remove the front seat when doing an under seat amp? Would it give you more room to work?
Nice setup! 👌 How's the sound quality with the new amp and sub? We sent you an email, please take a look.
Seems like an awful lot. That subwoofer was really gettin it
