- A personal project based on the game 'Silent Hill 4: The Room' by Konami.
Rendered in Unreal Engine 5 with real time lighting.
The goal of this project was to recreate the Henry Townshend's apartment with the modern graphics in Unreal Engine 5.

The original had awesome graphics.....and was absolutely terrifying.

There's nothing really to say about the remake of Silent Hill 2 and it's really well done, the graphics, the colors and even the new costumes for the characters are not bad
But I think it should do exactly the same for 1, 3 and 4, it really deserves to have the right to a real remake of horror games on Unreal Engine 5

Wow, this is impressive! I love SH4, and I could never have imagined seeing it being remade like this. This is really beautiful. The lighting, textures, and dark atmosphere you created seem real, almost like I'm watching a horror movie.
This level of quality makes even more sense after finding out you worked at Stray, that's the most beautiful game I've ever played. Amazing work, dude!
If Konami were smart, they would hire you and your co-workers at BlueTongue to make a full SH4 remake.

Unfortunately, in the original game no one can even replace the textures in this room with better ones, but with a reshade you can at least add shadows, chromatic aberration and, in general, make a game with very similar color correction to this one. Great job Maxim, it looks really impressive.
There is a texture pack by IceBullet, it looks great.

Круто, очень даже, многим 4-ка не зашла, но мне понравилась, единственное очень раздражали неубиваемые враги, а так годная часть со своей изюминкой. А вот что пошло дальше уже и говорить не хочется .....
Моё знакомство с сх началось как раз с 4ой и потом уже первые. Поэтому 4ку Я оценила по полной. Уникальные монстры и история культу и мальчика Уолтера Потрясающая и ужасна ( там где Уолтер уже маньяк культист). Лучше всего показана концепции что сайлент Хилл это кошмар и чистилище во второй и в четвертой части .
Homecoming был неплох сюжетом, но геймплей дурацкий, официальная игра имеет баги, плюс не такая атмосферная. 4 сайлент Хилл супер камерный и впечатляет

1st time in levels. They are clean and silent.
2th time in levels. They' are Horror and Otherworld.
(With dark and Flashlight + monsters like silent hill)
1st-3st person switch camera Everywhere!
(Or in options)
