Everything is so close to the original that it tricks you that this is how the game shipped and at the same time there is so much more detail without messing the overall feeling. Amazing work! I love it!

Yes, very true. Konami is my least favourite games company these days. I have no confidence in them anymore. They have ruined Silent Hill ever since this game, SH4, when they carelessly gave poor quality gaming studios the responsibility of creating a new SH game. There was a time when I actually preferred SH franchise of Res Evil Franchise, but look at how amazing Capcom have been with their remakes. I wish Konami gave up their IPs to a company as good as Capcom. Metal Gear, Castlevania, SH and all dead because it's in their hands. Look at the new SH2 remake for example? And the guy isn't getting paid. So he probably won't do it. And there's a ton of detail that goes into making games. I remade the 2010 splatterhouse in unity. Just first 2 levels fully working but it isn't worth it trust me. It's tiresome and too much effort.
This guy can make this by himself, and if Konami were to remake this game with a huge team, it wouldn’t look anywhere near as good. I have a love/hate relationship with fan-made remake shorts like this. It’s incredible, but it just makes me want a full remake that I’ll never get.

The only thing and I mean the only thing I would improve, and this is a minor thing, is that the door with the chains is a bit too clean compared to the original SH4 game, the middle part of the door has some scratches and missing paint around the area that the chains attach to.

You know when we had mediocre graphics, our imaginations filled in the rest. This apartment felt this real to everyone. Wish I could see the hauntings. Such a unique game. Side Note. All he has to do is break that drywall down where the chairs are screwed in with his weapons, and he can knock the door down.

it really sucks that there sooo much talent out there like yourself who have passion and dedication to build something like this for the fans. but the game devs wont even lift a finger to do it... resident evil 2 & 3, dead space all made smart moves to bring in further income and jobs just for the fans to play a envisioned game with new graphics and visuals and it paid off.. ill never understand why game devs wont do this for the fans. i mean our money made hem what they are today. great job! i never played the game myself but i watched a buddy. you created something great!

I saw an isometric full map of the room... its actually a good place to rent for one or two people. Plenty of spaces, ample living room, a view of the streets and a laundry room. Of that's sans the haunting and ghosts.
