(edited to add 2021: i now prefer the swiffer heavy duty fluffy pads to get in the tile cracks ) damp dust with blue "wet rag" after, if needed. i do not use the water receptacle pad, i simply use the normal blue pad and a bottle filled with WATER ONLY, spray directly on the tile floor to keep the rag wet or damp or slightly damp. straight lines, not mopping action. i rarely use the mopping function-- usually only in the kitchen-- it's good and effective, but mopping uses a lot of battery. this is a wiper, not a vacuum. no robotic vacuum or wiper will pick up huge chunks, cat kibble, cat litter, or leaves. pre-clean utter grossness and spills.
