Thanks for clicking on this video! Newer model has been released by iRobot and I have reviewed it here! Please check it out: th-cam.com/video/4cRo6ZMLz_Q/w-d-xo.html
I just bought one of these and the 980 for my 81 year young mom Who struggles with maintaining her floors. This is a great review and I will send it to her once she receives both these.
Thank you for your video demonstration. I am using my Braava tonight for the first time. It’s great. The only noise is about the sound of a whisper of the mopping clothe that is included. You really don’t hear it. I own the Roomba E5 which I purchased 2 weeks ago. You really need both of these robots for a deep cleaning of your floors if you’re able to purchase both. I definitely will advise to do a deep vacuuming and mopping before using either robots. First, use the Roomba E5 (or which ever vacuum robot you own) for 2 weeks straight with daily vacuuming. Reason: You will be shocked at what was left behind by regular vacuuming and mopping. The robot vacuuming goes where the manual vacuuming and mopping doesn’t work/reach. Always empty the trash bin of vacuum robot daily the first 2 weeks and less frequently after that depending on your household. I live in a 2/2 apartment with my teenager & George my fur baby cat. Now I added the 380T Brava to do daily mopping as my floors are just about spotless except for traffic areas. I am not able to vacuum/mop due to medical issues. So this just saved me from spending money on my cleaning expenses with a maid service. A year I could spend $1600 easily on cleaning. These 2 robots IRobot E5 $249. thanksgiving Black Friday deal at Bed Bath Beyond. The Braava 380T $188. (Regular price $299.99) again green Monday deal after Thanksgiving Weekend. Plus I used 20% off coupons on each to get them at an amazing price. Bed Bath Beyond as well gives you 90 days to return no questions asked. Plus they price match any offer you find. 3 months to try these 2 Robots is fantastic. I’m from Miami, Florida. If you have any questions feel free to reply. There are some extra tips I could share to make this a great experience for all. And YES the air quality is definitely noticeable..it’s calmed my allergies and there’s noticeable less dust on my furniture. Even the HVAC filter stays cleaner so no need to replace monthly.
Thank you for your helpful review! I just picked up a new Roomba 964 yesterday and feel like now I want a mop robot too. While the latest mopping model is definitely much better and more efficient, I would rather invest in a self-emptying vacuum instead for the money, as vacuuming is a more daily event for me, and my house is multi-level I could use two. I may check out FB market for the mop unit tho. Thanks again!
I got a Braava for Christmas (2018) and have just now opened the box. It was so much easier to watch your video on how to put it together than to read the instructions. Thanks! Am must now charging it, but can't wait to see how it does.
I wash it with water filtering the dust out...let it dry & then reattach. There are little areas on mine that collect dust and I use a toothbrush to get it out. All in all...still worth it to me. It's running right now in our master bedroom and I love that it goes under the bed.
As a new owner of iRobot Braava 380t, I did view most of the reviews about this product. Quite easy and simple to follow yours. (However) I do not really appreciate sharing my name with your mop.
I own an old Roomba 500 series that I'm resurrecting after years of some "life" changes - and it was awesome! - But, my new home is mostly all wood and tile, save for the carpet bedrooms. I've so so needed something like this! Thanks for the great review! r-
Roomba - thumbs up! Mine is old but still works fine. Highly suggest it- but keeping it clean is a must. I use an air compressor on it every few nights. A good vac with small attachments may work as well. Hope you can get one too!
Thanks for the video! Just got my "Rosie" and have run the sweeping cycle - terrific - and anticipate that the wet-mop will work excellently too. But I have a vacuum (Neato D3) and that is the second one after the Irobot just stopped working. Yes Rosie will not pick up hair and stops picking up after it has reached capacity. (and needs an intermediate cleaning of the clothe) So the way to go is either get a vacuum and run that first to get all the hair and bigger pieces, then run the Rosie to finish up. OR there is at least one other mopper out there that has a built in vacuum.
Totes! I have a Roomba now and I run them basically as a team effort and I rarely use the sweep function on the braava. Did you ever contact iRobot about your Roomba malfunctioning?
Hello there. Does it try to clean low rugs? Any issues as some others have reported online where it would climb up on low rugs and start cleaning with a dirty pad? Thanks and great review!
It is pretty good at hitting every area. The Roomba is actually less accurate surprisingly. I will be doing a follow up to this video in a few weeks, so stay tuned for that!
I bought one for $150. I thought it had majors issues with navigating around. When it runs into obstacles, it goes from a neat snake pattern to going full retard and starts moving in random patterns and sometimes goes back where it started. I stopped using the mop feature also. Just run it sweep mode with the wet cloth and it does the job just as nicely.
THIS particular machine does not. The Braava M6 (which is the newest model) has mapping abilities and does not have to relearn your space when it runs. Watch my review of it here! th-cam.com/video/4cRo6ZMLz_Q/w-d-xo.html This is a superior model.
You can use water or you can use one of the APPROVED pre-mixed cleaning solutions that iRobot recommends. Using a non-approved one can damage the robot.
You can most certainly use the Bona Hardwood floor cleaner in it! It's one of the few approved cleaners safe to use with the Braava and if my floor is really rough, I'll use it. Although, I am always shocked how much dirt actually gets picked up with just water and the microfiber cloth which is trapping dirt and not just pushing it around. More info about other approved cleaning solutions here: goo.gl/9h99iv
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this excellent review, much appreciated. I am looking to purchase one and was wondering since your review are you still pleased with it? Again, thank you 🙏🏼
I still love it and use it several times a week. I've had some issues with the battery, but I purchased a replacement from Amazon and it works well now.
The Organized Soprano Thank you for replying so quickly. They are $599 here in Australia and I just checked based on your response and a replacement battery is $50 plus shipping. I forgot to ask you how long you have had yours for? Just trying to work out whether it’s worth the money 😁 Love your channel and just subscribed! Take care 👌
You mean the Scooba? I never had one, but my impression is that the Scooba did a better job of "scrubbing" and it sucked up water, but it was loud I guess?
Wondering if it works with cats. I have four cats in an apartment and they spread a lot of their hair around. Would this cause problems using the braava?
I have fur babies as well. You must vacuum before using the Braava or sweep/mopping robots. I own the Roomba E5 which picks up 100% of all my fur babies hair (cats). It cleans over 1,000sq feet in one job 90 minutes or more. I cannot find a single cat hair anywhere anymore.
The Organized Soprano you have a new subbie!! Love all of ur organization tips. U’ve inspired me to organize my space as we have similar color schemes. 😍
LOL! I had to google who that was, and while I see the resemblance, I can assure you we are two different people with much different careers. But it IS uncanny. I’m disturbed and tickled at the same time 🤣🤣🤣
The Organized Soprano i believe she is a very beautiful woman so that gives me misfeeling as well. No disrespect. Hope you will sell for my product as well
I ACTUALLY know. Ya'll be roastin' people out here! LOL I hope you ACTUALLY enjoyed the video in spite of how many times I said actually. (Seriously, making videos is something that takes practice and I appreciate the feedback and we all hope we can perform better talking to a camera over time. It's weird...try it!)
I honestly did not see this prior to posting my comment. I could not listen anymore after a few minutes half of the words said in the video are um, ah, ummm, which is a shame because other than that I cold have likely given a thumbs up but um ah I um ah ah ah um ah um um ah couldn't with so many um ah ah ah um ah um um um UM"S

Thanks for suffering through it anyway! It sounds like this video was not for you. I invite you to check out the other Braava reviews that are shorter published to this platform. Have an awesome day! ☺️

It's still a pretty good machine! We've had to have the treads on the tires repaired twice though, so just a warning! Doing an update video soon!
We've had a Roomba for about six years and I love it! The filter is hard to clean, but worth the effort. Great little machine!
Yes, I am finding that the filter is a little strange on our Roomba! It gets so dusty but then doesn't easily release the dust!
I wash it with water filtering the dust out...let it dry & then reattach. There are little areas on mine that collect dust and I use a toothbrush to get it out. All in all...still worth it to me. It's running right now in our master bedroom and I love that it goes under the bed.
A high quality review video. Thank you for doing this.
Thumbs up if you liked this video! Check out my Roomba 890 Review here! th-cam.com/video/dELqNUpPN0Y/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the review! You are delightful to listen to.
Its nice to see a proper review, most of the reviews have the mop trying to clean up cornstarch or tons of dirt, not what they would be used for
As a new owner of iRobot Braava 380t, I did view most of the reviews about this product. Quite easy and simple to follow yours. (However) I do not really appreciate sharing my name with your mop.
outstanding review! exactly what I needed to know, no rambling or unnecessary content. Thank you!
THANK YOU!!!

You're welcome! We love this thing and I'm heavily considering a Roomba also because the dog hair struggle is SO REAL. LOL!
Roomba - thumbs up! Mine is old but still works fine. Highly suggest it- but keeping it clean is a must. I use an air compressor on it every few nights. A good vac with small attachments may work as well. Hope you can get one too!
Thank you so much! Most informative video I have seen! The background facts were interesting also!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video!

much appreciated review from a very beautifully spoken women :)
Thank you so much!
Really want this for my small college apartment!
Hello there. Does it try to clean low rugs? Any issues as some others have reported online where it would climb up on low rugs and start cleaning with a dirty pad? Thanks and great review!
It DOES. We have one low runner in our kitchen that it will get stuck on if I don’t remove it first!
The Organized Soprano, Not great if I wanted this for the living room where I couldn’t remove the rug sadly? :)
Very helpful review, thank you!
Thanks for this. I noticed it skipped the area near your kitchen stools. Does it do this sort of thing often, and does it go back?
It is pretty good at hitting every area. The Roomba is actually less accurate surprisingly. I will be doing a follow up to this video in a few weeks, so stay tuned for that!
I bought one for $150. I thought it had majors issues with navigating around. You know, I have found that this machine has pretty much stopped working for mopping for me as well. Invested in the new m6 and I’m happy!
Excellent video! Thanks!
This bot is best used with swiffer dry cloths when sweeping only its incredible combination…
Great video! It was very helpful. We have a roomba 985 that's really nice. Now I'm very tempted to get a braava!
The braava is pretty cool! I think I'd like to do an updated review now that I've had it over a year!
I would enjoy watching that! Your apartment is really nice by the way!
Thank you for your review, it was nice and thorough.
Thanks for watching!
So correct me if I’m wrong, but this thing is basically an automated swiffer? Not much of a mop but more like a swiffer?
Kind of! The newer model from iRobot is much improved...review coming soon 👀
nice explanation :-) thinking about it - i Robot needs to give you a Roomba!
Thanks! I WISH they would send me a Roomba! This dog hair situation is serious! LOL
Does the roomba have to remap Everytime? So it’ll have to find the room each cleaning?
THIS particular machine does not. The Braava M6 (which is the newest model) has mapping abilities and does not have to relearn your space when it runs. Watch my review of it here! th-cam.com/video/4cRo6ZMLz_Q/w-d-xo.html This is a superior model.
Such a great and informative review 🙂
Thank you!!
awesome review, good work thank you
Thanks for watching!
Great review!! Thank you :)
Thank you! and you're welcome :)
can you map a 'non regular' shape to avoid entering? maybe with an app or something?
If you're asking how much control you have of its path, it's very little...actually none. The only way to restrain it is with physical barriers.
Thanks for the info 👍
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Does it just use water or can we use a cleaning solution with it?
You can use water or you can use one of the APPROVED pre-mixed cleaning solutions that iRobot recommends. Using a non-approved one can damage the robot.
I don't think tap water alone will clean the floor, can we mix it with something like Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner? or this will damage it?
You can most certainly use the Bona Hardwood floor cleaner in it! It's one of the few approved cleaners safe to use with the Braava and if my floor is really rough, I'll use it. Although, I am always shocked how much dirt actually gets picked up with just water and the microfiber cloth which is trapping dirt and not just pushing it around. More info about other approved cleaning solutions here: goo.gl/9h99iv
Thanks for the review! Were you satisfied with how well it cleaned road salt/slush that gets tracked in?
It's pretty good if the salt is not too bad! If there is a salt disaster, I will use a manual mop with a water/vinegar solution.
How long does the battery last? How big of space can it mop?
It lasts about an hour and it can mop about 300 sq ft I think...so like it's a one room at a time kind of deal

Love your channel and just subscribed!
Take care 👌
The Organized Soprano does it clean just one room or does it go to other room automatically like roomba vacuum. Many thanks
Good review very helpful
I'm glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Does it clean it better than the first generation one ?
You mean the Scooba? I never had one, but my impression is that the Scooba did a better job of "scrubbing" and it sucked up water, but it was loud I guess?
Wondering if it works with cats. I have four cats in an apartment and they spread a lot of their hair around. Would this cause problems using the braava?
It won't cause issues, but I find if I use this before I vacuum, it just pushes hair around.
I love mine also!
YAS!!!! #braava4lyfe
Where did u get that gorgeous crate cover?
Petco! I got it off of their website, but I don't know if they sell that pattern anymore :(
The Organized Soprano you have a new subbie!! Love all of ur organization tips. U’ve inspired me to organize my space as we have similar color schemes. 😍

fun fact : robot vacuums were invented in 2001
I remember that! iRobot was former MIT students if I'm not mistaken :)
Picked up a 380t braava :)
Do you love it!?!
Hub Neat Home I love this little guy he's so helpful ^v^ quality product for such an affordable price. Automated mopping
