    Awesome tree! Awesome video! My Alphonso (also in Phx) also got a little burned. How has yours recovered? Aside from shade, did you paint it or prune it or anything? Update video in 2021???

      Thanks. My Alphonso has been struggling in ground ever since I planted it in June 2017. This year in February I dug it out and replanted it. I had to wait for 3 months for the confirmation that replanting was successful. Now it has lots of new growth all over. I made the video, I will post it few days.

    How cold can a young Alphonso mango tree tolerate? When and how do you protect them in the wintertime?

    I wish I could taste them, I love Mangos, but they are not aviable here in Germany :( I wish there would be some juice/drink made out of 90-100% Alphonso Mangos, but I can not even find that :(

    • @TheNaveed787
      @TheNaveed787  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you can find a mango drink/juice but you are correct, it does not come from Alphonso mangoes.

      Miaz, sorry I don't check the comments very often. Sorry I missed your last call. I can send you the seeds but this year Alphonso mango tree decided to skip flowering. Only three branches flowered and it has only 3 or 4 fruits. Please email me at nnafzal@yahoo.com in August and if the mango fruits ripen, I can send you the seed. Just know that the mango plant grown from Alphonso mango seed WILL NOT be true to mother plant, i.e. it will not be same Alphonso, it will be some new mango variety and may or may not taste good. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
