@kyrojag I've only have 9 varieties in the ground. But we got some nice ones waiting. Tree 🌳 guy finishes Saturday taking out some large overly shading 😎 palms 🌴. They got to big and difficult to manage. North side of property getting a mango 🥭 makeover. 😉
Its all in the ripening and when its picked. My Lancentilia fruited 2 years ago and dropped the fruit in early July. They were big and did ripened on the counter but the fruit was not so good. Was gonna trade or sell but gave it one more year. Fruited again gave me 3 mangos all 3 lbs and stayed on tree till mid late August and half ripened on tree and WOW happy I kept it. Very sweet and what a cool mango. I put it ground now that I know were gonna keep it.
@@InfallibleProof palmer mango and fruit punch Alphonso thrive in arizona but can't be in fool sun they need 50/ 50 were until they mature I keep them in 25 gallon containers so I can move them around speaking from my experience in az
My five dream fruit in my yard would be, Julie or Starch mango, Sugar apple, guava, hog plum red or yellow, tamarind. This was hard because o would love a barbados cherry tree. Great video. Thanks for sharing. If I wasn't a veteran, I would move to Florida.❤😊
Julie mango is delicious, right size, comes in clusters. It still has some fibers, developed from this is Carrie which has most of Julie's qualities except fiber free.
Every house I ever lived in ended up with a Haden mango tree in the yard. Just moved north from West Palm Beach up to Palatka. No one seems to have mangp trees up here. Can they grow this close to the Georgia border?
Hi.. Am from Jamaica 🇯🇲 but live in the US 🇺🇸 now and my favorite mango 🥭 is blackie mango I’m trying to find out if anyone grow these varieties of mango in Florida I really want to purchase some …if anyone on here knows where I can buy these mangoes I will gladly appreciate it
Bring some scion or graft wood from a mature tree in Jamaican and graft it onto a young strigny (common mango), be careful though most of the varieties we Jamaicans love dont do well in South Florida, north florida you might be ok.
Really like your content and inspired to grow what I can eat. I'm located in Port st lucie fl It would be really great content if you visited Erickson Farm
Picking it at the right time, that's the key. The Tommy Adkins mangoes from Florida and Brazil are extremely good, but most people don't it because it's picked too early, and it's a shame it has a bad reputation when it's an extraordinary variety.
The left-side person mentioned "Alampur Benishan" which is my MOST favorite variety of 100s I've tasted in my life in Bharat. I moved to the US more than a decade back. My dream is to grow it on my backyard in South Texas. Hope it works!🙏🧡
Tommy Atkins, Haden deserves respect. Classic mango flavors. Funny how people are trying to have mangos taste like other fruits. I mean honestly if I wanted orange, I’d get an orange. To be fair, I have many varieties including PPK and Orange Sherbet. But ITommy and Haden are the king of mangos.
It could have been better if you show a sample of each kind of mangoes that you are mentioning. So that we viewers can differentiate or have an idea of what are you talking about...

Wow, this vid makes me feel like I live in a mango desert. I'm in western NC, and no one likes mangoes because 90% of what you can find are those horrible watery flat sinewy Tommy Atkins mangoes. I like to call them the Delicious apples of mangoes. Recently we've begun to get Kent, Keitt, and Altaulfo mangoes, the latter of which really turned me on to how good mangoes can be, but are still hard to find. Never seen a Valencia Pride. I like a tart mango. So my choices are limited.

Ha, ha, ha.... Wich is the best mango? No mango is bad, that one which is not the best for me, is the best for some one else. Here, in the country I am in, there is one tiny mango, full of fiber, one of the top best for people in general, mainlly used in industrial products due to the intense flavour, it is named Gold Mango, you see, for them Alphonso comes after. But what a Juice it makes! No mango fiber for me, thanks, I love my old teeth. Have a nice time guys.
This was a fun and informative conversation! Awesome! Loved it! 🌼
My favorite mango is Toledo from Cuba. I just bought a grafted tree from Everglades farm in Homestead
My mouth is watering watching this. I need to get hold of some of these!
Guava mango is amazing, it smells good when mature green and tastes great ripe from the tree. It’s my favorite mango this year.
Love these covos. I dream of startin my own fruit farm ❤
What are Covos?

I am Jamaican living in New York. You guys make me want to come to a mango farm and sit under the the trees with a knife😏
@marjoriemarshall61 Right. I'm ready to make that trip as soon as Mango season is in full bloom.
December 4th acquired Cecilove, Kathy K-3 (Kryptonite), Rosigold, Angie, Imam Passand, Orange Sherbet, Dwarf Hawaiian (Tete Nene), USDA Himsagar 😊

For me Starch mango : Julie mango and Bombay mango are the best love your videos

3 giants of Florida fruit trees right here
Fact: People are going to taste different things.
Views going up, channels building. Congrats
Hi. I live in Orange County. It’s 9-10 zone. What kind of mango would do good in this area?
I love Kent mango. What other mango is similar on taste?
Alex at Tropical Acres Farms can tell you the best mangos for California

1. Mangoes
2. White Sapote
3. Jaboticaba (Red)
4. Jackfruit
5. Longan (Lychee if the Mite didn't exist)

The Hamam mango can also be called Imam Passand or Himayat. Which is also the wrongly named Alampur Baneshan in FL.
My Favorite Mango is Sindhri, it's from Sindh Pakistan.
Yamani Tymore is one of the best. I eat it with skin with no hair inside at all.
I'm interested in growing Carrie mangos
Carrie is good, more compact too
Champa is amazing

So last year Celeste of Sulcata Grove said Alampur Baneshan was their new favorite mango.
It's supposedly Imam Passand, according to Alex Salazar
Here in deep south Texas I hope I can grow Mangos
The best mango I ever tried was a unnamed tree in rural Bangladesh still remember it, these grocery store ones are trash in comparison
