I'm in the same boat as that one chat member that Vinny read out. Wario Land Shake it was one of my first ever games because my first console was a Wii. So seeing my favorite gaming content creator play this has definitely been a surreal experience
Its still kind of crazy seeing people's first consoles be stuff like the wii. I think the first I played on was the genesis or gbc.

Wario literally goes insane from constantly shifting his dash back and forth, ramming his own onion brain into the walls of his skull over and over, until all he can manage is crazed laughter.

I haven't played the game in probably a decade, and I could clearly hear the wiimote noise as I read your comment.
I played it 100% recently, it was so good. Love it. *you don't actually have to shake the wiimote the way the game says to, just waggle a bit in the right hand then return to controller holding position. You'll never need to shake and use d-pad at the same time.

It's a pretty short game, so I don't see why he wouldn't finish it.

Yeah, I figured he wouldn't remember. But he did comment on music occasionally throughout the stream. So I was curious if he thought that song fit.

Yeah, was hoping he'd notice or piece together that it sounded familiar from a game he played before. But sadly, I recall Vinny really not liking Wario World. Will all due to respect to Vinny, if I recall correctly, part of the reason was because of his attention span so he would get stumped on puzzles or bosses and stuff, and that affected his impression of the game. But even then, while its one of my favorite games, I recognize it has flaws that I don't vibe with either. I like it more for the untapped potential it had rather than the final execution of the game.

This game is so good man. I love the visuals and it's really fun. Even without all the body-morphing stuff of 2-4 it's still tons of fun
Almost all music theory I've learned is from a TH-cam channel called 8-Bit Music Theory (who contrary to their name mostly covers modern games - his latest video was on Ori and the Will of the Wisps, for instance). Most of the theory bits go over my head, but the way he shows how it's done IN PRACTICE with examples from real game music makes it a lot easier to absorb at least a little bit of the important stuff.

It's cool how every Wario Land game has its own identity. Each one has a different atmosphere and play style. Even Shake It, while not the strongest in the series, is still unique and fun while remaining recognizably Wario.
Shake it is better than 4 it actually solos
I think shake it and WL4 are the best in the series by a lot.

@@sonicphoenix7 1, 2, and the VB game feel like entirely different franchises outside of the shoulder charge being a thing. Idk I always feel like 3, 4, and Shake It are all sort of near equal to me. 4 is def the best, but I feel like the criticism of shake it is a bit excessive. I think it's a bit of a rose tinted glasses situation + pizza tower sort of skewing people's view of wario land (namely NO WARIO LAND GAME is as fast or varied as Pizza Tower, not that that's a bad thing).
I feel for Vinny fighting Chortlebot. It was such a huge difficulty spike compared to the previous levels.

In terms of fast food, i have this to say. I know some of the fast food places i like technically suck, i know there are more delicious and well made options, but honestly, sometimes it's not about the quality of the flavor for me, sometimes i just like the specific taste of that places food, a lot of restaurants have a specific flavor to them that no other restaurant tastes like and sometimes, i want that i guess.
This is very much my own opinion when I'm geting fast food for whatever reason. It's not the best, I could make something that tastes much better with the stuff in my fridge, but sometimes I just wanna eat fried chicken while watching anime or something

3:00 I cant say the games are really comparable. Pizza tower and Shake it go in completely different directions when it comes to handling the Wario Land formula. Where Pizza tower focuses on the frantic speedy portions of the Wario Land games, Shake it goes with the relaxed exploration side of the series.

So for some the car boss (Hot Roderick) I used to call “Vector” because I used to think he looked like the Despicable Me character. Also I distinctly remember the Mario Wiki listing his species as “car” for some time which was super funny
Also I hate the clown boss (Chortlebot), because I distinctly remember spending ages to no damage and beat him in the time limit for the missions. The thing is, the game doesn’t make it clear you can hit Chortlebot on his entire body and not just his hat. So I spent ages trying to just hit his hat.
Vinny, sorry to disappoint but there are no sprinkles on the Wario Pizza. I bought it today and it just tastes kinda.. sweet? Imagine some Honey drizzled on top of a Quattro Formaggi.

On the topic bought up about games that were *almost* great needing remakes, I think remaking Metal gear ACID 1 and 2 would be a good move. I'd genuinely say the gameplay in both were ahead of it's time, considering how popular deck building indie games are now (Fights in Tight Spaces is the closest to ACID's gameplay in recent memory and I remember it being received well). People would probably be more receptive and willing to try it out now that it's an established genre.

Very good for a frozen Pizza!
The salami tasted great and the crust was perfect.
The crust is fairly large for the average frozen pizza and isn't filled, but it was still very tasty.
No clue what Triple Salami has to do with Mario & Luigi, where are the mushrooms?
Would still buy it again, I might contact the people that made it and ask if they plan on selling this one once their Nintendo merch liscense runs out.

I was skeptical when I read about "Sweet Sprinkles" on a Pizza, and I was right, it ruins absolutely everything.
It's like someone wanted to get pineapple on the pizza for Wario (because yellow?), knew most people would not want to touch that and opted for a much worse and cheaper options instead.
The dough is the same, so at least that is good.
Theming is better with this Pizza than the other one, both Waluigi and Wario would sell you shitty Pizza with no remorse.
Only try it if you want to claim you had "the shitty Waluigi & Wario Pizza" once in your life.

I can't even get excited for the RE4 remake. It's so unnecessary. The original still holds up extremely well. Still looks fine, plays well, the voice acting is still great...Yet it's remake is the one that Capcom is putting the absolute most effort and care into. Woulda really preferred they put that kinda energy into the remake of RE3 instead of half assing it and shoving it out for a quick buck.
Did Vinny at least _watch_ the end of Scarlet/Violet? The events of Area Zero are really cool, and easily my favorite endgame from a Pokemon game. Gets pretty dark, too. I understand his issues with the game, but it's still a shame to hear. At least listen to the endgame tracks..

I hate to say it to you but I have bad news. I looked 100 years into the future, and by then Vinny streamed a full playthrough of Undertale and Persona 5, but passed away without having ever streamed Pizza Tower

51:10 It's fucking Artoon/Arzest. Aarton made Yoshi Topsy Turvey and Yoshi's Island DS, both of which IMO were mediocre follow-ups to Yoshi's Island with significantly worse soundtracks. And then Arzest was formed by former Artoon and Sega employees and then made Yoshi's New Island.
Then, they made Hey! Pikmin, which was just a mediocre Yoshi's Island game without being a Yoshi's Island game.
Oh, and Balan Wonderworld.
Both handheld sequels to Yoshi's Island flesh out the story of the snes original. Speaking of which, Artoon and it's successor company Arzest was formed by sonic co-creator Naoto Ohshima who left Sega in 1999 after the completion of Sonic Adventure due to disputes with Yuji Naka regarding the direction of the sonic franchise.
