  • One of the many benefits of using the UNINET iColor 550 Digital Color Transfer Printer is the ability to do heat transfer and sublimation in one machine. Karli and Aaron are here to show you just how easy it is to swap the toner cartridges so you can have the best of both worlds.

Thank you for this video. I am new to all of this and & I just purchased the 560. PLEASE DO MORE VIDEOS!!!!
You can print on regular printing paper? And is that just for sublimation printing? Why not the heat transfer?
And what is the difference between sublimation prints and heat press prints? And can you use either for cotton shirts or any fabric like the white toner. And again, I know nothing about these printers & people are wanting to learn. Will you do more videos about the 560.? For instance what is the over print and under print for? I sincerely appreciate your time and information. And great knowing where I can get supplies ty.

Hi Virginia! As you know, the iColor 560 does both heat transfer and sublimation, so this video will show how to swap between the two.
For sublimation prints, we recommend using sublimation paper for the best results. You can use regular paper, but your transfers might not come out as vibrant as you'd like.
For sublimation, you'll need to transfer to polyester-coated items or shirt/garments that have at least a 60/40 polyester to cotton blend. Heat transfer can be used on almost any blend, including 100% cotton.
There are pros and cons to each process...the good thing is with the iColor 560 you're getting the best of both worlds! Sublimation is limited to polyester coated items, but it's a single-step press processes. Heat transfer can go on a wide range of items but typically requires transfer media (so a second step).
We have a great webinar that explains the difference between heat transfer and sublimation and you can watch that here:

Be sure to check out Heat Transfer Essentials videos here in our TH-cam channel. They're a great resource to help you get started with your new printer.
You can always contact us via the chat function on our website (jpplus.com) if you have any other questions!

Hello good day. I would like to know if you can help me with a problem that I have with my icolor 550.
From one moment to another he began to print with parts or dots that do not have ink (I add the photos)
And I would like to know what I can do to get the printer to print well on the sheet again.
I've been trying to print several times and nothing.
If they have a much better video tutorial.
