I recently purchased a White Toner printer and unfortunately, it has proven to be a significant disappointment. The product falls short of expectations, and I strongly advise against making a similar purchase.
Not only has the printer failed to meet basic performance standards, but my attempts to initiate a return have also been met with challenges. It's disheartening to experience such issues, especially when investing time and money in a product.
I am currently facing difficulties with the return process, and it seems like the company is evading responsibility. This adds another layer of frustration to an already unsatisfactory situation.
In light of these issues, I caution others against purchasing this particular White Toner printer. It has proven to be a waste of both money and time, transfer won’t last even for 1 wash, no matter what technique you apply and the lack of cooperation in the return process only exacerbates the problem.
I hope sharing this experience serves as a warning to potential buyers, and I encourage the company to address these issues promptly.

Idk about your printer, but mine said my Yellow was out, so I ordered a yellow cartridge ($220 + $70 shipping) because the printer said that was the only color depleted. Mind you if you have an empty color the printer won’t let you print at all. So, once the cartridge came I was hype because I thought I was about to start printing again. Why I start up the printer and after it heats up, it tells me my Magenta is out 😡. Now I’m pissed because I’m like why didn’t it say both colors were out and I would’ve brought both colors. So I call RICOMA and tell them the problem and they said there’s nothing they can do I have to order the magenta and pay for shipping again. I’m like this is bull because why should I have to pay for shipping again when it’s your faulty machine. I was so mad I just hung up and told them I was going to make a review about this printer and it’s definitely not a good review. Yes everything you said is somewhat true, but for larger shirts this printer sucks. It only prints 8.5x11 that splitting the image sucks ass because regardless of what you do, you can still see the split line. I know you mean well but this was literally the worst investment I’ve ever made. The heat press is even worse. You can’t even put firm pressure because if you tighten it to much it won’t stay closed. I’m sorry for going off on your post, but I had to vent. Stupid printer uses ink even if you’re not using the printer. Maybe it’s my fault because I thought if I leave the printer on and let it cycle the ink wouldn’t dry out, but what it’s really doing is burning in on nothing. Maybe I just have a bad machine. Oh and I brought mine around the same time you brought yours. I remember seeing your first videos and saying I just went through the training and everything and was hype. Now, I wish I never brought this thing. If it printed on larger substrates maybe I wouldn’t be so mad but it’s not worth it at all. I’d rather go DTF, even tho I’m hearing that has its downsides to.

    • @bhutch216

Because the washability in white toner is awful. They crack and chip after the first wash and look awful after 3 or 4. Plus the error rate during the process is way higher. You may only get 50 useable transfers out of a box of 100. The cost is nowhere near the same. DTF is easily $8-9 a print. DTF is $1.50. And since she has a Ricoma, she’s not allowed to give a negative review since she’s in contract with them.

@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 have you used a paper called TSeal? It is supposed to help white toner & dtf prints embed into the material more. The guy that tested it out took the fabric and stretched with all his might and no cracking.
