WOW! Thanks for that tip on removing the white toner mistakes.
I LOVE your videos!! VERY helpful for me just getting started!!! Thank you! 🙂
Another great video Kat just keep them coming x
Thank you and Happy New Year.
Oh my! I have watched so many white toner videos and this video was so helpful. Thank you, thank you!
You’re very welcome
This makes me happy about my white toner printer purchase today 🎉😊
Another wonderful video😊! Thank you.
Love the full demonstration definitely on my future purchase list👍🏽
Do not buy white toner if doing shirts go with dtf or dtg or a Rolandbn20 print and cut
Love the info provided in your videos, your energy is always so great and inspiring! “You can use this on hard substrates, did you know that” haha love it! Thank you for this review, I am in the process of ordering my own, I am working on the premium bundle, such a great deal!
Thank you and yes I know you can use the white toner on hard substrates and more. I did a video on that as well
Thanks for the video Katrina!
You are so welcome!
That’s a beautiful orange heat press! I have a white 15x15, and a black with red and black accessories 8 in 1 that’s 12x15 heat press. I’m still learning all that I can because I don’t want to be messing up a lot of materials, or wasting time and money.
@Nahni's Journey... If u don't mind me asking. Where did u buy your heat press machines? In the decision stage as of now.
Happy New year x
thank you my friend
you rock thanks for the info
Love your videos! Very informative! You always have the cutest images. Do you create them yourself or is it purchased graphics? Definitely wanting to purchase this printer when the time is right. Can’t wait to see more videos.
I do both, some I create myself and some I purchase or download
Good work...hope you have a great new year....suggestion : show folks how to do rasterization with holes and lines
I will in another video. I try to make the video as short as possible
That’s a pretty image.
I think it’s a great investment so you can offer that quality of print to your customers. Hopefully, one day I’ll be able to get one.
Thank you for teaching us so thoroughly.
Does your bottom heat press platen have a silicone surface to hold the heat when you warm it up?
thank you!!! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you 🎉
Very good video I have the oki 9541 I love it I have my machine I had it since november 2022 And with my pape I don't have to rub my paper together before putting it apart And the other thing that you said no maintenance I love that being I just had surgery and I can't walk for at least another 6 weeks the machine will be just sitting there... With all that said keep up the good work love your videos
Thank you! I was loss in the steps. Now after seeing your video I am a PRO! Thank you.
Glad it helped! This is great to hear! 😊🫶🏽
Great video!!!
Happy New Year
No matter what new craft I'm looking to take on, I always come to Katrina because I KNOW she already got a video on it!
I try my best to stay up to date lol
Happy New Year and thank you again for another great video and information. I’ve been thinking of getting one to complement my SG500 and vinyl. Is the Ricoma 15x15 better than the WALAPress or one from HPN?
🙌🏽🔥❤️🔥 First of all, you slayin your braids. Love the browns and your earrings. Ok so the transfer paper for the white toner? Is it the same as the easy Siser transfer ? I guess this toner printer will be a future purchase for right now anyways. Thank you Katrina. Happy New Year 🎊 🥂 ❤
Thank you and no that is 2 different papers. This is laser transfer paper only for the white toner
Love this video
Thank you
Thanks for the tip on the mistake. Uninet has a Dtf printer now. Can't wait to see the hard surfaces video.
That’s what I use, I hate it and it’s ridiculously expensive
They have a sale now too for the end of the year
Magnifique merci 😊
thank u
Thank you for the update video! Everything came out beautifully.
Whenever you create your images, do you or have you used photoshop?
Yes that's where I create my images the most or in Canva
i had my ricoma white toner printer for three months .A+b transfer paper kicking my ass
Very nice
I learned about TKO from watching your channel. I use them for my transfers.
Awesome
Thank you for the info Katrina! How is the white toner for printing photos or things like smoke backgrounds?
Congratulations on your work, White Toner Printer, work as the photo shop, that you can put several images, just moving them from the destop, or you must print the images one by one you can tell me if you have any video teaching how to transfer several at once, on the same page thanks
Hi Katrina learned so much ftom your vidoes. Have you come up with a way to make larger prints since the software no longer have the rip option. Was disappointed because that was one of the main reasons why I purchased the Ricoma. They sent me longer paper but I'm still not able to do a 10x10. Any help would be appreciated.
Stay blessed.
Hi Katrina, can you explain how the vivid rip work with the luminaries 200? and put 2 images on one sheet.
I recently purchased a White Toner printer and unfortunately, it has proven to be a significant disappointment. The product falls short of expectations, and I strongly advise against making a similar purchase.
Not only has the printer failed to meet basic performance standards, but my attempts to initiate a return have also been met with challenges. It's disheartening to experience such issues, especially when investing time and money in a product.
I am currently facing difficulties with the return process, and it seems like the company is evading responsibility. This adds another layer of frustration to an already unsatisfactory situation.
In light of these issues, I caution others against purchasing this particular White Toner printer. It has proven to be a waste of both money and time, transfer won’t last even for 1 wash, no matter what technique you apply and the lack of cooperation in the return process only exacerbates the problem.
I hope sharing this experience serves as a warning to potential buyers, and I encourage the company to address these issues promptly.
Thank you, as always, for your videos and instructions. Do you HAVE to have this heat press? Did you say the bottom plate heats up? Can you use a regular heat press?
No the bottom doesn’t heat up you press it to make it hot. This is a regular heat press
I am new to DTF and I just bought my printer so I'm trying to soak up as much as I possibly can. Thank you for very informative videos! I have one question. The A/b sheets are comparable to using the white powder, is that correct? I want to be sure I understand this right. Seems like a game changer!
It is comparable because that is the adhesive however you get more stretch with dtf than with white toner
Thank you so much for this video Katrina because I have watched only a few videos about white toner printers and it was a turn off for me and to be honest your video is the first video that have made me think twice about a future purchase of a white toner printer. I can't wait for you to do more videos on what else this white toner printer can do as well.👍🏽
I must say that you and your son crack me up every time y'all are on camera together and your facial expression was hilarious when you asked him was he going to wear the shirt today, LOL.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.😉
He is a trip. Thanks for watching. He’ll be back for more videos lol.
Good morning Katrina!
Good morning
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 You do some great work! Thank you for sharing!
@@nahnisjourney1406 thank you
can you use the transfer sheet with a regular or sublimation printer
How do you keep your shirts from cracking? Mine a rack after first wash, I have no clue what else to try, I’m stuck with this expensive printer and nothing seems to fix the cracks after wash, can’t even sell them like that.
How much does it cost for the transfer Paper I heard it's very expensive is there a generic/inexpensive replace pkg. out there?
What paper do you use to print for tumbler wraps that do not require heat?
Happy New Year. I saw your video with the Epson 2800 and the hipo ink. I’m just wondering if you still use that ink? Or which ink do you recommend?
I talk about ink in all my sublimation videos but yes I use hippo as well
Hello, I just got a siser for Christmas and want to do sublimation. Is it true that I can use a heat transfer paper or do I need to buy a new printer. I have been watching some of your videos, your a very good teacher. Thank you.
You got a Siser what?
Do you have to do daily maintenance on white toner
I would like to buy one but I’m worried about daily maintenance can u please me please thank you ❤
20:52 Caden almost got yelled at 😂, Trina was like, "son...really?!"
great video Trina.✅
He’s a trip. He did just wake up though. Lol
I have the Luminaris and would like to figure out how to make split images. Could you put a link to your video for that?
hi thank you for all the videos you always share wanted to ask can you sublimate on socks with a rp200?
The Ro 200 is a laser printer not sublimation 2 different things
How much is the ink and paper for the printer? How long does the ink last?
Will this work for the Sublimation DTF hack?
What printer do you prefer for full color printing?
For some reason my Color design is transferring to the glue instead of the glue transferring to the paper. how long am I supposed to press the transfer. 310 for 30 sec. or 300 for 120 sec
what is the max paper size can use with this printer ? can i Use 11x17in paper size or bigger ?
Thank you for this video. I have been having a problem with my transfers, they will not adhere correctly to the material! I have wasted so many transfers, what advice can you give?
White toner transfers? You have to have firm pressure when marrying the images. And it’s a cold peel at least mines are. Follow the instructions of the brand you’re using
The glue showed up very well though your camera.
Can I use this for a photo of my phone or pc
How many uses do you get with each Teflon sheet
Newbie Here 🤭🤭What Side Goes In The Printer For Print Shiny Side Up Or Down
What’s the cost on one of these?
Can you supply a link to the paper? Do they have 11x17 for dark? I use forever paper for dark and they’re pretty darn expensive
The link is Ricoma in the description box
How much do ppl sell their transfer for for white toner printer
100
😂😂😂😂😂 I gota plug it in
Sis, this was mad helpful. #Sub
So glad it was helpful. Welcome to the channel
How much is the paper
It came out beautifully. Can the printer do larger prints? So why did you decided to order from TKI if you have the white toner, what are the advantages to order from them over using a white toner? I'm trying to to decided what to do. Thanks for the review.
I show all forms of printing on my channel and for large orders I will not be doing this 2 step process for my clothing brand. Transfers are faster and feel better and last longer overall
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for always bringing valuable information. God bless! And Happy New Year!
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 What process will you be using for your clothing brand?
I try but it won't transfer
How much do you sell shirts for with this printer.
What brand printer is that
Every time I use my icolor 560 I can never get the picture to come out on the othere paper so I can put it on this shirt I don't know if i'm sitting the heat right or what
You have to follow the instructions for that machine. But the time and temperature and the pressure is so key for the perfect transfer
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 Thank-you I greatly appreciate it
Do your crack badly after washing a second time?
What is the difference with a white toner printer vs dtf printer? You have me curious now!! I am about to purchase a dtf printer. 😱
It’s direct to film I have an unboxing on mines but it white powdery on the back that will allow you to press to any fabric.
What’s the largest size you can print on a white printer?
Very large I don’t know exactly
Are those transfer papers only available in 8.5" X 11"?
Depends on your printer. Some take bigger
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 yes, my printer takes up to 11 X 17 but I am looking for a cheaper alternative to the Colman & Company A/B sheets. Does Ricoma offer 11 X 17 size A/B sheets?
Have you seen the GHOST WHITE toner ?
No
where do u get your paper from?
Ricoma link in the description box below
Idk about your printer, but mine said my Yellow was out, so I ordered a yellow cartridge ($220 + $70 shipping) because the printer said that was the only color depleted. Mind you if you have an empty color the printer won’t let you print at all. So, once the cartridge came I was hype because I thought I was about to start printing again. Why I start up the printer and after it heats up, it tells me my Magenta is out 😡. Now I’m pissed because I’m like why didn’t it say both colors were out and I would’ve brought both colors. So I call RICOMA and tell them the problem and they said there’s nothing they can do I have to order the magenta and pay for shipping again. I’m like this is bull because why should I have to pay for shipping again when it’s your faulty machine. I was so mad I just hung up and told them I was going to make a review about this printer and it’s definitely not a good review. Yes everything you said is somewhat true, but for larger shirts this printer sucks. It only prints 8.5x11 that splitting the image sucks ass because regardless of what you do, you can still see the split line. I know you mean well but this was literally the worst investment I’ve ever made. The heat press is even worse. You can’t even put firm pressure because if you tighten it to much it won’t stay closed. I’m sorry for going off on your post, but I had to vent. Stupid printer uses ink even if you’re not using the printer. Maybe it’s my fault because I thought if I leave the printer on and let it cycle the ink wouldn’t dry out, but what it’s really doing is burning in on nothing. Maybe I just have a bad machine. Oh and I brought mine around the same time you brought yours. I remember seeing your first videos and saying I just went through the training and everything and was hype. Now, I wish I never brought this thing. If it printed on larger substrates maybe I wouldn’t be so mad but it’s not worth it at all. I’d rather go DTF, even tho I’m hearing that has its downsides to.
*Burning ink on nothing
Sorry about your experience bro
Watched five or six of your videos tonight and the sound seems broken on this one. I even tried reloading the page. Odd. All the others were loud enough to hear (and had great content too).
Not sure why it sounds weird to you no one has said that and it sounds perfect on my end.
What paper are you using?
Did you watch. I showed the paper in the video
How much is that printer? And what size of paper does it take ?
what's the price for this white toner please?
You have to click the link in the description box it’s a few thousand and use my name when you inquire
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 have you used a paper called TSeal? It is supposed to help white toner & dtf prints embed into the material more. The guy that tested it out took the fabric and stretched with all his might and no cracking.
Link your mug press please.
It’s in the mug press video and in the description box for heat press nation. I have a few mug presses.
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 which one is your favorite?
Being these are not much more expensive than DTF printers, I cannot see the advantage of DTFs besides the ability of them to print in wide format. . These types never clog and require a lot less maintenance. The inkjets have to be maintained on a regular basis.
Because the washability in white toner is awful. They crack and chip after the first wash and look awful after 3 or 4. Plus the error rate during the process is way higher. You may only get 50 useable transfers out of a box of 100. The cost is nowhere near the same. DTF is easily $8-9 a print. DTF is $1.50. And since she has a Ricoma, she’s not allowed to give a negative review since she’s in contract with them.
@@bhutch216 washability with WT is not awful. Many dont experience what you are saying. The paper you use and pressure matter
Do you have to buy a program to use with wt
@@belizegirlmagic8351 no u dont
This is the same reason I’m looking into the WT, the alternate is the pro color, but I do not print many shirts at this time due to only having sublimation printer
How long before you broke even on the equipment investment?
At the time of this comment, the Luminaris 200 + Heat Press bundle is $7920. For an established business, it is probably a minor cost, but for someone starting out, it is on the steep side.
Definitely steep I get it not sure when I broke even because I do many methods of printing. But a year perhaps
Are the printer and presser capable of printing hundreds of tee’s?
Yes
I’m considering buying both, but I’m concerned if it’ll hold up, cause I have many potential buyers.
White toner is a scam.
How is a printer a scam. smh. lol. Just dont't get one if it's not for you
Not a great investment. The print has no stretch at all the image will Crack. It is good if you are doing prints on substrates with no stretch i.e mugs, wood, vinyl jackets
Running out of transfer paper and not plugged in? You aren't running many shirts!
I just moved the machine and I don’t keep the paper stored in there plus I had just got it. Thank you
