This was pointed out to me in the comments already, and I figured I did mess base stats up :) It was due to screwing up character template. Else the rest is all fine, no mistakes.
One thing about bone spirit over spear is that it never misses. I find spear misses about 50% of the time in NM and at least 75% in Hell. You really notice the difference when it's only one enemy. Spirit kills bosses in seconds.
why is everybody ignoring bone prison? :D thats why the bone necro has a little bit less dmg then other casters.. becaus he is the tank in caster/range groups.. nothing can move.. not even bosses.. no stupid kiting.. just put down some prisons.. kill it all from safe range and destroy them afterwards.. sure its a little bit more work but thats why i think bone necros on ranged groups with your frinds are just op! :D

Hey Djuntas! So again, you're my go to for most Diablo 2 stuff, you're videos seem to keep it real lol. Seems like the bone necro can be good but not without Corpse Explosion. Also unless you're in single player it is slow as hell taking out Bosses. In my personal opinion summon Necros + Amp + Corpse is the best (since Corpse is 50% physical it really ups the damage). And yes I love max Corpse, nothing like blowing up 13+ yards of mobs; and possibly one of the best Cow killers. So my question is can a shanko be a good alternative to that expensive helm you got? (I’m just doing PVM or PvE in WoW Terms lol) Also what does the Infinity do? Does it take away Immune to magic? I would of figured Trolls Reaper would be good, but again im no expert lol. I’m pretty much coping your build, just not the uber expensive stuff. Thanks for listening
Shako is fine for less FCR setup etc. Infinity gives coviction aura...Corpse exploision is 50% fire, 50% phys. Its by far the best merc wpn on necro - Also...well nobody knows, helps your summons due to less attack rating neeeded.

but there is one with +3 to corpse explosion and +3 to bone spear which are the only pnb skills this build uses so, as a matter of fact, there are even BETTER legit items than the ones he's using, as far as this build is concerned ;)
I`ve seen Chaos runs with summon-necro done in about 1 minute, only using merc and golem for the seals and skeletons for diablo. So bone-necro could probably do it in a similar time. Why Trangs and not Magefist? Also the white text is kind of annoying covering the gear.
Ah sorry for the text :) I tried to not have it run for so long - Afraid people skip in video, and don't see the text so tend to make it run for more than 5-10 sec! Fast clearing depends on your rules. Not skipping anything (We'll, not doing both sides going up to diablo's platform etc), starting time at waypoint is mine :)
@@Paskovitchz I've found so many high runes from chaos sanctuary mob groups.... I once had a "golden weekend" where I found Jah and Cham runes in the same one weekend of Chaos runs haha

I know, I also have a summoner who is now lvl 45 in nightmare act II and i should be like lvl 41 but i went up 4 levels just by killing the Countess over and over and only got Dol runewords and others like Sol, Shael,... and 1 Hex but no Io :'(
iirc wands can roll with max +2 to all skills (of a tree) or with +1-3 for 3 different skills (3/3/3 being obviously stupidly rare), honestly, +3 to bonespear is technically better than +2 to all bone skills, so his White isn't all that flashy as far as class items go, claws however can roll with +3 for a tree and +3 for a single skill, which is unique to the assassin and a perfect raw claw was always one of the most valuable items in the trade scene

Indeed corpse explosion is great on 1 single player games but this holds true for a summoner aswell plus providing a lot of cover and single dmg aswell. i would like to see how a boner gets along with 8 player game cs run or baal run. It would be very great if you could make a video on this.
We'll for once golem would die very easily, bad option for pride, and the damage to kill 1st target is a lot slower, fuss you kinda haft to survive for longer etc, and then the first CE dosent even finish off packs...so yea
What i dont like about all your guides for builds is that you have absolutely perfect gear for all specs. Wich would take months and months of farming to get. Not realistic at all.
Thats why I try it out in hero editor :) If you want gearing advice / wealth I have made a full video for that, my wealth guide, also see my JSP guides. I have in no way a lot of wealth compared to the people who are botting etc on JSP, so hero editor is great to test things. For this build just go with 75 FCR and use spirit, hoto, enigma and shako etc. Keep it simple with lesser FCR.

5k life... lol... you must've really messed up on the math on the life per level. You don't even have perfect charms. Realistically your character with THAT gear should have about 3k life BO'd.
My necro has better gear than that on battle net and I have about 4.1k life with full pvp gear on and bo'd... the only way you're getting 5k life is with barb bo or a Druid oak.

DjuntasGaming I'm an expert at hero editor so if you have any questions about how to do something, just lmk. Easiest way is to just do it yourself. Go on arreat summit and see how much life each class gets per level and then give yourself that + 60 (act 3 bird quest)
DjuntasGaming another tip: so you don't have to custom make most items: download Kingpinz custom item pack FINAL (that's the name) and it has a majority of items you'll need. Jewels and rares included (such as arma slips and arma fletch)

It's definitely been a long time since this video was posted, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in on some alternatives for cheaper bone necro gear for those who may come across this video due to D2 Resurrected, and you didn't really go into cheaper alternatives, which isn't a bad thing, but it still helps in some instances: First, for PVP, to get the most out of this character, it is ridiculously expensive. You need a good Diadem with skills/fcr/sockets and perfect gear. However, this isn't about that, so; In PVM, which is what most players will be, doing for a majority of the time, 75 FCR (faster cast rate for the noobs among us) is more than enough to feel okay in the handling department, but not so good that you never have to upgrade. This build is at its best with higher FCR, but it's not required for pvm, so 75 should be what you can strive for at the minimum. So, a cheaper alternative would be: Helm: Shako This is just an overall good helmet that gives skills, life, and mana. Nothing special, but definitely not bad. Armor: Enigma/Bone/Skin of the Vipermagi Enigma is the most optimal armor for the build because of the skills and teleport, but it is a little on the expensive side. Bone is a lot cheaper (though you do need 2 ums). You will lose teleport, but you will gain 30 all res, which is still pretty nice. ViperMagi is a decent Armour too, especially for the cast rate. Weapon: White/Boneshade/Hoto When it comes to getting the most FCR for the build, Hoto is pretty much unmatched here, but if you want maximum damage, then trading for a Boneshade is a decent alternative, though the best weapon would be an at least +2 Bone Spear wand for White. Amulet: Mara's Maras is just good all around, though a bit expensive. Ideally, if you can find a cheap 2 Skills/20 fcr necro amulet, you should start with that and eventually work to get a Maras. Gloves: Magefist/Trang Gloves This is mostly a preference thing. Do you want the mana regen or the cold res? Belt: Arach If you can afford Arach, you should get it. If not, then really any decent belt can fit here. Boots: Sandstorm Treks These aren't that expensive, especially if they're not ethereal. If you can find some decent FRW/ Dual Rez boots though, you should definitely wear those instead. Rings: FCR rings/2x SOJ FCR rings with Resists aren't that expensive, especially if it's just fcr and resists. Otherwise, SOJ is definitely best for damage. Shield: Darkforce Spawn Now, this is a highly underrated shield in terms of what people want for this build. If you can get one with 3 to PNB skills and bad rolls on the other skills, then this will be the best in slot shield. With it, you won't have to worry about Strength at all and you can socket it with perfect diamond if you need the resists. Definitely an underrated item, though a bit rare. And there's some cheaper alternatives. Again, not an attack. I just felt that some newer players will want some cheaper alternatives if they were to come across this guide and want to make this build in the current day. Love your videos!

Just letting all the "gear isn't legit" commenters know that I have an actual legit bone necro on battlenet and he can clear everything just as fast as his does. The killing speed is the same. Mine also hits the last FCR breakpoint and has similar bone spear damage and corpse explosion range.
Yea, its good. I figure if you aint into poison nova (Which I find more interesting) its a safe bet. But yes few gear mistakes here and there on my videos, but I never not make it as legit as I can :)
trang oul's, 2x sojs, arach, aldur's, eni, white, spirit, shako, mara's, cta6, torch,anni, 6x sks, and for merc. infy+forty+Andy. that's quite allright to make good dmg in pvm right ?
Yup thats fine ! But as always consider if you rather play Poison nova or summon, I also have guides for them :) I like bone, but I also know that the other 2 have there places. 75 FCR vs 125 is a quiet important if you can get it.

Because its super clunky and annoying for melee's, your own summons and merc :) So guess its more a solo thing.

You can further improve 1 skill level by substituting spirit with a +3 Darkforce spawn, while still meeting the 125 fcr

3 mins is not fast. If a bone necro can't hit 1:45 choas runs, then they do suck. A fishy mancer can do chaos in 1:45, easy.

We'll, take my live version of the summon or poison nova and compare them to this. The bone necro had to get this gear level to compete in some areas.

It's definitely been a long time since this video was posted, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in on some alternatives for cheaper bone necro gear for those who may come across this video due to D2 Resurrected, and you didn't really go into cheaper alternatives, which isn't a bad thing, but it still helps in some instances:
First, for PVP, to get the most out of this character, it is ridiculously expensive. You need a good Diadem with skills/fcr/sockets and perfect gear. However, this isn't about that, so;
In PVM, which is what most players will be, doing for a majority of the time, 75 FCR (faster cast rate for the noobs among us) is more than enough to feel okay in the handling department, but not so good that you never have to upgrade. This build is at its best with higher FCR, but it's not required for pvm, so 75 should be what you can strive for at the minimum. So, a cheaper alternative would be:
Helm: Shako
This is just an overall good helmet that gives skills, life, and mana. Nothing special, but definitely not bad.
Armor: Enigma/Bone/Skin of the Vipermagi
Enigma is the most optimal armor for the build because of the skills and teleport, but it is a little on the expensive side. Bone is a lot cheaper (though you do need 2 ums). You will lose teleport, but you will gain 30 all res, which is still pretty nice. ViperMagi is a decent Armour too, especially for the cast rate.
Weapon: White/Boneshade/Hoto
When it comes to getting the most FCR for the build, Hoto is pretty much unmatched here, but if you want maximum damage, then trading for a Boneshade is a decent alternative, though the best weapon would be an at least +2 Bone Spear wand for White.
Amulet: Mara's
Maras is just good all around, though a bit expensive. Ideally, if you can find a cheap 2 Skills/20 fcr necro amulet, you should start with that and eventually work to get a Maras.
Gloves: Magefist/Trang Gloves
This is mostly a preference thing. Do you want the mana regen or the cold res?
Belt: Arach
If you can afford Arach, you should get it. If not, then really any decent belt can fit here.
Boots: Sandstorm Treks
These aren't that expensive, especially if they're not ethereal. If you can find some decent FRW/ Dual Rez boots though, you should definitely wear those instead.
Rings: FCR rings/2x SOJ
FCR rings with Resists aren't that expensive, especially if it's just fcr and resists. Otherwise, SOJ is definitely best for damage.
Shield: Darkforce Spawn
Now, this is a highly underrated shield in terms of what people want for this build. If you can get one with 3 to PNB skills and bad rolls on the other skills, then this will be the best in slot shield. With it, you won't have to worry about Strength at all and you can socket it with perfect diamond if you need the resists. Definitely an underrated item, though a bit rare.
And there's some cheaper alternatives. Again, not an attack. I just felt that some newer players will want some cheaper alternatives if they were to come across this guide and want to make this build in the current day. Love your videos!
Yeah you can defiantly build it on a budget. He'll even peasant crown, viper magic and dual spirit etc, gets its you quit far :)

Just letting all the "gear isn't legit" commenters know that I have an actual legit bone necro on battlenet and he can clear everything just as fast as his does. The killing speed is the same. Mine also hits the last FCR breakpoint and has similar bone spear damage and corpse explosion range.
Yea, its good. I figure if you aint into poison nova (Which I find more interesting) its a safe bet. But yes few gear mistakes here and there on my videos, but I never not make it as legit as I can :)
except the diadem and armageddon ofc... But you can use shako or maras as well right?
Honestly, 75 FCR with spirit, hoto, shako etc is also OK.
DjuntasGaming will go with shako and spirit then.. since I already have white 😊

Yup thats fine ! But as always consider if you rather play Poison nova or summon, I also have guides for them :) I like bone, but I also know that the other 2 have there places. 75 FCR vs 125 is a quiet important if you can get it.

If you we're to make it on live servers. Especially ladder. Many people test builds offline to see if its worth it.
Well, still poison + skeletons is better in my opinion, much safer at least

I level using baal run or chaos mainly. This time I also used the baal bug/glitch run w/e you wanna call it :)
