Bought 1 a few days ago and I love this car. Wife bought a Model Y. I fell in love with it. I sold my dodge charger and bought one! I'm not looking back.
I took delivery of my refreshed M3 LR in stealth grey black interior in March first EV!! I absolutely love this car without a doubt !!! Almost 3 months and no issues no noises no squeaks no rattles. I love the tech and minimalism. Stalkless design it's awesome can't go back. Like you I use an excuse to drive it , as it puts a smile on my face every time. Taking off the seatbelt puts the car in park it's such a small thing but it adds to the simplicity of the car. The shift out of park feature works like 99 percent of time. This car is beyond quick nothing so far can touch me. I've even gone against a motorcycle at a light I smoked him !!! Facts. He even said man that car is fast !! I said I know and it's not even the performance. I live in a condo and we won't have chargers installed for a couple more years and my work will eventually get them but I only live 5 mi from a supercharger and I go in early morning where it is .21 / kWh to charge. I charge once a week. I don't go above 85 percent and I usually charge between 10-20 percent but because of the heat in Phoenix I end up changing at 5 percent SOC and it come out to a little under 14 dollars still cheaper than my Corolla for the month. Now that it's getting hotter I'm losing about 35 mi of range which is not bad. I love this car. It is so fun. I love Tesla and will only get Tesla in the future. I just got the spring update today and it is awesome. Best feature is hands free trunk it works flawlessly.
I’m in the same boat with not having a solid at home charging solution. I can level 1 charge at home which may work for me. My daily commute is about 30 miles total. I also live about 5 miles from a Supercharger and I have one a few minutes from work too. I’m really thinking about placing an order I just can’t decide between the M3 and the MY.
@@johnathanalbert3762 do you have a big family 🤔 if so get the model Y , if that is the case and your able hold out until the refresh comes out next year it will be worth it. If you don't have a large family and your able to afford the 8 or 10,000 more get the LR Model 3 as you will love this car. It will put a smile on your face. I travel round trip 32 mi for work but I only work 3 days a week plus driving here and there on my off days. So I'm able to charge via supercharger once a week. Hope this helps. You will love Tesla whichever car you decide. Aaron
@marlene3991 it's not recommended unless you're going on a road trip. Battery holding too much energy. 80% charge for daily commute driving. 100% for highway trips
@@numberonexinyanlover4666 I have auto brightness off and they still get dim. There is a new update coming which will let you adjust intensity of the ambient lighting.
Its really cool to see how excited you are over your new M3. I drove an old car for years and saved my money so i could buy my Tesla and its the best car ive ever owned! I dont get all the tesla hate online. All they need to do is drive one and see the difference.
I have seen on many highland models that the led strip does not fit together on the front passenger door. Is that by design or is this a fault in many of the cars? I ordered mine and am still waiting but I´m getting nervous about that led strip.
Just got the long range with Fed Tax Credit for my wife and we both love the car. I have the Model X and my wife's previous car was a Model 3 RWD. The Highland spec Model 3 is a much nicer vehicle and with the incentive, it's less expensive than many popular ICE vehicles. I say go test drive one and you'll probably buy one,
Nice ! Got a 2018 model 3 long range with 144k miles and still going strong. Love the car and can’t wait to upgrade one day. First thing I would do is take the aero caps off cause they will end up scratching your wheels trust me 😅 I know after so many miles
We’re looking at leasing one for 3 years and was thinking about adding the FSD but then I did the math and realized it would be more expensive over the term of our lease than just doing monthly. To confirm you can add it afterwords with this model as a monthly subscription rather than up front right?
The reality is that anyone coming from ICE cars would be fascinated by the brilliance of the Tesla cars, considering the CTV ratio...I loved my 23 MY LR waiting for my M3 RWD LR...I laugh at those ICE cars enthusiasts when they talk...most of them is from the place of ignorance and hate.
I came from a Honda Accord, and I can say it's worth the wait for the refresh. I've had mine for around 2 months now, and I have to say I love it. I took it on a long road trip, and I loved how convenient it was to drive this car. Mine is a white M3LR.
Thank you so much for your video, very informative!! I’ve been looking into getting a Tesla ever since renting an older Model 3 & your detailed review was very helpful & informative on the upgraded Model 3. I’m just curious to know if you’re leasing yours or bought it with cash/financing? I’m set as far as getting my Tesla, but I’m just not sure if I should finance it or lease? I’m conflicted as to which one would be the better option considering how fast EV are changing as the years go on. Could you make a video discussing this?
Did I miss it in the video? Why on earth do you need a huge secondary display for what looks to be CarPlay? Why do you need that with the giant display right in front of you?
the perrformance model 3 refresh is &7500 MORE than the LR model and $8500 more than the rear-wheel drive model. Thats a big price difference, so I don't know why you'd recommend the performance model over the Longe range model. You may be confusing the performance model with the base rear-wheel drive trim level. That trim level is only $1000 cheaper than the long range model 3.
I was expecting different content as your title was misleading. You basically went over the updated model 3 features rather than your experience with it 3 months later. As far as the performance 3 goes there’s a couple of drawbacks. First the range is less as you mentioned but also, the performance has 20” wheels which will call for more expensive tires.
This car is a steal if you get the standard range. You will get better range charging at 100% all the time vs. the long range at 80%. It has all the same features anyway.
Nope. My all wheel drive is better than your rear wheel drive any day of the week. Not the same features at all. Better Soundsystem. Better road holding ability. And I’ve got that extra range from 80 to 100% when I need it and the occasional charge to 100% won’t do any harm to the batteries. This has been proven by people who have driven them a lot longer than you and I.
i have a honda civic 2015 with only 22k miles lol, and i hate the car interiror. exterior, a lot of shit is just breaking like the windows borders and the sun destryoing everything, I don't drive that much because I am WFH and I don't have a car payment, and my insurance isn't that high , but man I love this fucking car, I just don't know if having a car note again is worth it. the August deal is really good. we will see , if they come up with something in Q4, or Q3 end.
I have a 2024 AWD Model 3 and personally I don't miss Android Auto or Apple Car Play. The infotainment built into this car has been pretty good without it. 🥂
It's a really good looking car,the stealth grey is my favorite color and the tech inside is even better. My only issue is the indicators on the wheel, totally unnecessary
For me personally, for that money ( it ain't cheap), the interior fit and finish and build quality is still a massive let down. Acura's more than 14 yrs old, have better trim work, gaps and interior tightness and quality than a $60,000 CDN Model 3. The paint quality, it reflective / metallic properties is average at best while the lightness and "tin sounding" doors upon closing is disturbing to say the least. Again .....these Model 3's are not cheap. I will and have spent $60,000 on Acura products but their longevity, fit and finish and quality is well worth it.

Quicksilver without a question It looks so sleek. Grey is the most common because it's the color with no additional charge.
