The way we handle conflict and disagreement can be dangerous though, for example if we fail to see the different actual perspectives present in the conflict.
Conflict lies at the core of human nature. Challenges and wars arise, but the true test is in how we manage these conflicts-it is essential to understanding ourselves. Reflecting on “What did I do wrong, and what did you do right?” holds the potential to foster genuine understanding. Negotiation remains a cornerstone of resolution. Every day, I hold in my thoughts the people of Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Liberia. Negotiation is the path to lasting solutions.
