The fact that these podcasts come out every weeks feels like something illegal. How can you get such beautiful and absolutely mind blowing conversations EVERY WEEK? All I can say is… Thank you 🙌🏼

I don`t know how many hours of conversations with John I`ve heard, or his own programs. This conversation was the most profound and beautiful and I wanna thank you both for it. And I hope for more. John is a Philosophy by himself. This was so touching and moving. Somehow transcendent. To say "thank you" is not enough.

1/3 in and it just seems like basic common sense here - ie “man’s search for meaning” …
56:00 calling qanon pernicious & earlier referring to a supposed rise is nasi’s seems telling of his political alignment, too,
👆ie “professor” = elitist , & doesn’t dare venture into the fray of calling out the invisible hand that feeds him

25 years ago, while incarcerated, I took a class called cognitive intervention ( basically it was cognitive behavioral therapy) and it was the greatest thing that could have happened to me. I've been out for 20 years and I can definitely thank that class for the fact that I have not gone back.

John Vervaeke is this close 🤏🏼 from becoming the Jazz musician of meaning. In his early appearances I personally found him a little to rigid and technical.
He must have had found some „answers“ to his own meaning crisis in the last couple of years. He’s got a whole new vibe to him.
I thank both of you for this great conversation.

Gratitude to John Vervaeke and equally to Andre. It’s as if Andre creates an energetic space that increases with each guest. An architect erecting these pillars of light, as he stands in the center as an exponentiation factor with his own wisdom radiating. The wisdom and humility. Exquisite.

So so captivated by this interview and so much in there working in ways beyond my understanding. I admit I have not come across John before but I loved receiving the clear amount of knowledge and wisdom from him and then seeing in his eyes this awe and wonderment which feels innocent and childlike. Andre gives so much respect and space too and always seems to give the perfect response to keep things moving but also allow the depth of a subject to be felt. Love it!!! And would be super interested to see a second interview.

Walking The Philosophical Silk Road is the very thing I have been waiting to hear about, and have been putting feelers out for since completing my MA in the neo-platonic tradition, including cosmology and divination studies. I have tried to talk to many about this language for the sacred, ai have run an open philosophy group in my home town for over 6 yrs, and even with interested folk it has been SO hard to bring forth the dialogues.
Thank yo SO MUCH Andre for bring this conversation into the world. I have been inspired by every conversation you have put out, but this one is so very exiting of my deepest passions!!! On fire 🔥

Andre, you have a beautiful way of holding space. You are truly an artist and your art "washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life".
I "officially" became a Philosophy major way back in 2008, although I don't believe there was actually a beginning and will ever been an end. I don't want to flip back and forth to make sure I spell his name correctly although I will certainly be pursuing his work; I am surprised this is the first time I've been introduced to John V. It's good to see true philosophers making a comeback.

Vervaeke will one day be a word we associate with the transjective apotheosis that’s possible for neosapiens of species. Just like Einstein became synonymous with genius, so too will Vervaeke become a paragon of epistemic humility for all to emulate in their own way.

    AM I?
The choice of what you are, is produced by what you vibrates in your being. You are the subject that observes creation, who determines the manifestation of each particle, you are the one who gives meaning to existence, who decides the future based on your present, who heals your past based on your attitude. You are the one who makes the decision to live from unconsciousness or from consciousness, you are the one who has embarked on the adventure of living, you are the subject of each object, you are the one who gives meaning to the verb in action.
Everything we see, like physical things, it's all just islands and under it, carrying it, is this sweeping current. And if you pay attention, you can start to feel it. Now if we can feel the current we can feel other things in the current. People, and we can feel how the current will move them and we can see where they'll go. It's all in the movement, you see, it pushes itself. It's easier to move with it than against it. You can feel it! It's like a pulse.
This force, this energy field created by all things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxies together.
    And so, know this:
in every movement, you are exactly where you need to be. You are contributing to the grand unfolding of existence. You are the beauty, the joy, and the love you seek. There is no separation between you and the whole. You are loved, you are supported, and you are a vital part of the universe's infinite dance. When you align with this truth, your heart will leap in joy, for you will know that you are always, eternally, at one with the cosmic flow of existence.
All beings, all things, are one. And in this oneness, there is nothing but love.
    Namaste Ubuntu nævis

Superb conversation about some of the most important aspects today IMHO. I have seen John before but this was so much more meaningful in many ways. Excellent.
Also my first encounter with this channel and André Duqum presents a very mature and intelligent researcher.
