Did Jackie Chan choreograph the fighting scenes?
@@nicoleraheem1195 Jackie chans stunt team did the choreography for this movie, which is why a lot of movements are “perfect” and “just right” even has the tinge of last minute saves sprinkled throughout the movie.
@@nicoleraheem1195 Brad Allan, only white member of the Jackie Chan´s team was the Supervising Stunt co-ordinator and 2nd unit director. He also sis Kingsman movies or Scott Pilgrim.
It was lika Jackie Chan fight scene it was insane. Shang Chi did a great job and it is so great to see Victor Drago as his opponent 💪👊👍👏
Love how all these goons were sent by his dad just for warming up 🤣
this movie was honestly amazing, i hate how we still havent gotten any update on a possible sequel, or anything. i really hope they give us something
This is one of my favorite movies from this phase. The fight scenes alone were awesome.
One of the only two good movies of the phase, along with No Way Home
@@bobwilson679 would the other possibly be Multiverse of Madness?
@@fluffdegoss No lmao, that movie sucked. Clearly, based on the fact that I was replying to a comment about how Shang Chi was your favorite movie of the phase, I meant that Shang Chi and No Way Home were the only two good movies of the phase
@@bobwilson679 gotcha. understood..lol

"No lmao, that movie sucked"
To YOU maybe.
1:42 no spidey-sense, no super serum, no heart-shaped herb, no enhanced strength absolutey, not even the ten rings because he doesn't have it here. Shang-Chi is definitely the best fighter and the most skilled one in the MCU 💯
okoye, romanoff and carter:
😕
@@christiangarcia4925 Shang absolutely destroys Okoye and Black Widow. Also Agent Carter has super serum lol
@@christiangarcia4925Okoye has never fought with her hands, only with a weapon.
@@farisf7291 we don't know that tho, that's headcanon
@@Based_4_Life but it's still her own human strength, none of the above mentioned before
Awkwafina was a complete mood in this movie. We need more of her in the MCU. I loved her character so much.
I agree with Awkwafina in all her movies.
She brings a certain fresh vibes to all of them.
I'ma have to say no to that one, dawg.
Ngl i find her annoying in most of her movies bcz she's always the same character in every movie. But here, she was quite funny imo
i strongly disagree she did alot of blaccent rapping
When the beat hits at 4:02, in the theaters was amazing, flying kick after and all lol. This movie was absolutely fantastic. I loved every minute. The fights, music, choreography, and his character. They did so much badass stuff with him. People should still be talking about it today vs hating on MCU.
1:51 Thought that Morgan Freeman drivingbthe bus for a second.
You can tell theres a lot of Jackie Chan influence in the chorography. I love it!
RIP to Brad Allen for making the chorography in this movie remarkable.
Brad Allen is the stunt coordinator, not a choreographer. The fight scenes were both collaborations from Martial Club, a group of martial arts TH-camrs and Brad Allen stunt teams of Jackie Chan.
4:44 my favorite part 😂 surprising that the bus cord still works throughout all that
Men bored. Men watch this scene. Men keep watching it on repeat. Men get goosebumps
2:05 damn you woman, put your laptop in your bag for the love of god. Really, imagining my laptop with a lot of data split into 2 pieces gonna make me go crazy.
1:37 you got this bro!
🤨🔪
😶my bad 🧎🏽♂️
Gotta love Cliff, "you got this! My Bad!"
I think that's the "Do a flip!!" guy from spiderman th-cam.com/video/kxPWPzk7MA4/w-d-xo.html
Honestly he needs a cameo in every Marvel movie. Fuckin love him
Hate him actually, keeps interrupting the fight. That’s what I wanna see. Not some fat fuck comic relief. Actually that’s a problem holding this movie back, unnecessary comedic attempts.
@@jcapo1803 no, that would be terrible.

for those of you who want the chinese dialogues translated:
1. give me the pendant, and no one gets hurt
2. i dont want any trouble
3. then give us the pendant
>grabs stranger's laptop
>destroys it for no reason
>refuses to elaborate
>leaves
This movie preserved so much content for later movies while also having so much to offer. Amazing action, a movie that knows when it’s appropriate to implant comedy, and all while maintaining an awesome storyline. Marvel made a W
1:12 I usually Minecraft posts of D.C. & MARVEL characters to post on my TH-cam community & my Instagram. I just recently posted a Minecraft Shang-Chi post that includes this bus fight showing that double split jump-kick.
The choreography and the music slaps
The best fight scene Marvel Studios has ever done really blew my mind
Lol the way he gave that laptop back. 😂
This is the type of choreography that could have saved iron fist. Absolutely love this movie so much
This fight scene is just phenomenal and the BGM is so captivating.. 10/10 to the overall scene.
I got to say, this movie is honestly one of my favorite MCU movies. Better than many older MCU movies even. I feel like everyone was talking about No Way Home and now they're talking about GOTG Vol. 3, but this film wasn't far behind. Some of the scenes with Wenwu make for better drama than Infinity War and Endgame!
Awesome movie. Love the story, especially the choreography. And now they have an Oscar winner in their cast. A+ 🥰
Two in fact: Sir Ben Kingsley being the second.
2:24 Bus driver down, am not gonna handle this! Every time I try to drive a bus I get yelled at... 🤣🤣🤣
Bradley did his best to channel all his experience working with Jackie and it shows here but within Hollywood / Disney's constraint. He did his best where it's not possible to implement Jackie and his team's "Camera, Rolling, Action, Jump, Hospital" commitment.
"Can I get an extension on my essay? A man with a laser sword arm cut my laptop in half on my way to class."
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The third act was a little weak but man this is a really good Marvel movie.
4:00 FUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !!!
When I went to see this movie, I did not expect much, boy, was I wrong. When the DVD came out I purchased it. This was a good movie, storyline, and fights.
Shang-Chi is still the best MCU movie to date, though Guardians 3 comes close.
Fantastic movie. Fight scenes, music, plot, and character building were all spot on!
I love how he just instantly snaps to action when Katy gets hurt
The fights in Spider-Man 4 are about to be legendary
YO WHAT🎉
@@SOPHIA-LOVES-MEATBALLS-69 yeeeahahhhhhhh boiiii
Shang-Chi deserved better. severely under appreciated film. Phenomenal fight choreography.
Finally, an MCU movie with decent hand-to-hand action cinematography
Choreography was composed amazingly….
Watching again, the fight syncs up with the soundtrack Edgar Wright style. So awesome
I just watched Shang Chi on Disney+ and I can't get over how sick-crazy this fight scene is. All the fight scenes were awesome. The freakin' Wong cameo at the hot sister's fight club was dope. Why were so many people shiitin' on this badazz movie? I should have watched it at the theaters.
I love Morgan Freeman’s cameo.
LOVE this fight scene! But can we talk about how it was completely pointless to grab that lady's laptop and try to block with it? If Razor Fist was actually aiming for him, he would've been cut.
