One thing I’d like to mention, I read the manga in a fan colored which is why made the assumption that Garou drew blood out of Saitama. Saitama has yet to draw blood however has shown to be visibly affected by attacks. Another thing I’d like to mention is that me saying “give cell saga Goku a light warm up” is a bit of a stretch, I was being sarcastic. Realistically Saitama is losing to Buu Saga Goku and above.

I was always one of those people who kept the opinion of "wait until he gets more feats" on the argument between Goku and saitama but man, the amount of times I kept seeing stans use the whole "he wins cause hes called one punch man" or "he wins cause he has infinite power" argument really tested my mental endurance. Now that we've seen more of saitama's full power in the manga I can confidently say Goku wins.
Why would you think that the fight against Garou was anywhere close to Saitama's full power?
Saitama was just getting warmed up when Garou folded.
The funniest thing is the second I said that they used to say this argument people told me they never said that and I'm making it up that it's a strawman argument.

I'm sure in the anime Piccalo stated his SBC was light speed and Raditz dodged it, Barter from the Ginyu also said he was light speed and Goku blitzed him if memory serves me right. Even if you don't believe in power scaling calculations, lore wise it makes no sense for them to be reaching light speed in the tournament of power. I once debated a guy who kept saying Dyspo was the first light speed character in Dragonball and everyone before him where just hypersonic
Bro what??? Hit literally travels through time and Goku was reacting to it. We’ve also seen characters react to INSTANT TRANSMISSION which is faster than light travel by default. People really love to hate on DB without ever using their brain.
the anime is super slowed so you can actually see the fights, its literally shown at the start of dbz that gohan couldn't see anybody fighting until he focused his ki, all the z fighters are light speed at the end of og dragon ball

Like in real life, I can be the best boxer in the world, able to throw blows that will lay out even the meanest people, if I go and fight, say, a gorilla (who don't even have specific impact-dampeners) and throw that same punch, I'll just hurt my fist.
Second, gotta admit idk what you mean by "react to IT", if you mean it got interrupted then no comment, but if it's just something like blocking an attack coming outta IT then that's not reacting to the move, but to the attack itself which is clearly not FTL.
Third, and this is moreso aimed at OP, a lotta scaling is using statements taken at face value. Like, I could tell someone that imma divorce their jaw from their skull if they wanna throw down, and while I may savage their ass, literally ripping their jaw out, especially with a punch like the threat implies, is a whole different beast. And that's not even getting into homies hyping their bro up.
I don't really hate on DB. I love the series. But the fans who never even consider that their "calculations" are biased, lopsided, and potentially highly subjective and yet act belligerent are the absolute worst.

Yes, saitama does grow exponentially in power as the fight progresses, but the difference between the two currently in terms of power is so unfathomably huge that i think goku might accidentally kill him at the start of the battle.
Well krillin should only be star to galaxy level maximum and he was able to spar with an obviously not trying what so ever blue goku. So goku would probably just play around with saitama. But I still don’t think he would reach that jump in power.

During the Garou fight Garou was stronger than Saitama, so even if you say that Goku is stronger than Saitama then he would grow stronger like in the Garou fight. And Garou is very powerful, he was able to kill everyone on Earth and the only people left alive were Saitama and Blast's crew. And Garou could do a gamma ray burst, which happens when neutron stars merge and it releases as much energy as our sun will do in its entire lifetime (10 billion years). And Garou had the power of God too. So Saitama was able to beat Garou which he's been shown to be very strong, and could beat Goku too.

That would be out of character for Goku. He didn’t even go full power against Beerus when they started their fight even though Goku knew that Beerus would destroy the earth. He’s also the same person who gave his enemy a sensu bean so his son could fight them.
5:52 - I want to point out that some of the reasoning here is flawed.
In order to dodge a beam which is moving at the speed of light you do NOT need to be able to move faster than the speed of light itself.
Being able to dodge something means you need to be able to move the distance between the location where you'd get hit and a location where you won't be hit in the same time that it takes for the thing in question to move the distance from where it's fired to the place that it'll hit you.
In other words, if the distance you have to move to dodge it is lower than the distance that the thing has to move to get to you, you can dodge it while still moving slower than it.
So being able to dodge a laser does not necessarily mean you have to move faster than light, though obviously you still have to be very, very fast.

For those saying “Saitama can catch up to Goku as the fight goes on.” That only applies to an opponent that starts off equal to Saitama like Garou was. Goku is far above him, there is no power climb lol he just gets slapped severely.
Goku also gains power at a faster rate than saitama does. Just look at what happened in the tournament of power. He went from his best forms not doing anything to jiren to being able to at least fight with him in a lower form.

I think the existence of Saitama is not to be the mc but to be the driving force for everyone else to fight. I never even saw a glimpse of Saitama's childhood yet we see more character development of other characters in the Anime and Manga. One of the examples being Garou and his determination to destroy the heroes.
i also believe that saitama isnt called one punch man cause he one shots everyone , but that he is power is canonically supposed to become strong enough to defeat any opponent in one punch.

I've always wondered why this stuff on who's stronger ever became a debate to the point that threats and insults are thrown around. It's fine to have a debate, but when it gets to the point of insults being thrown out callously then the debate loses its purpose. To see people get so bent out of shape over hearing their favorite anime character would get beaten, whether that's Saitama, Goku, or anyone else, is pretty interesting considering how trivial it is.

Yes a timespace is intangiable because time is a higher construct that contains the physical universe/space, matter and it shouldnt normally be possible to interact with it, but that doesnt disprove anything. How would you explain Garou and Saitama overwhelming Blast's hyperspace gates when he was trying to contain the energy of the serious punch squared. Portals are literally tears in space and time, Saitama and Garou had so much power that they were about to destroy blasts hyperspace gates. Phoenix space is literally another dimension/timespace + it existing on another plane of existence because its not physical and saitama just punched through it. Those are all physical strength feats. You have to be crazy to deny all his timespace feats. I understand goku has better feats for now, that you are tired of Saitama fans who cant scale saying that he can oneshot everyone, but If you honestly think saitama will only cap out multi solar system level, you should consider there existing higher scaling metas and deeper implications to the story. God is heavily implied to be a threat of universal to, even (possibly) multiversal proportions/Influence, as aliens, different species from other worlds and dimensions are teaming alongside blast to stop him. The exposition dumps murata gave us through Genos, after he analyzed his future core, implied that there's a whole multiverse out there. This God entity is implied to be the final opponent of saitama, that will ultimately be defeated by him, yet also give saitama the fight he has been seeking for this whole time.
I like both series, but the hate the character gets because of the fanbase being toxic is crazy! I feel like a lot of people arent really taking time to understand saitama's character, hes actually beautifully written and the series itself was one of the things that got me back into watching anime.

Ontop of that the feats don’t align with it their serious punch squared would have destroyed the universe.

Timespace is a construct upon which the universe sits, being a system of 3 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension (time), so it's not just composed of space, but time as well, saitama interacting and punching holes in something like that is completely different and should logically qualify for a 4D feat. Ghosts are supernatural beings that dont even exist in the opm verse, as far as we know, thus it would not be reasonable to assume saitama can interact with them, although i wouldnt doubt that he could do something like that in the future. Saitama should still have non-physical interaction due to the phoenix man's dimension feats, which was a mental/spiritual plane of existence, phoenix man also said that it was a seperate space-time. Punching through it would qualify for both non-physical interaction and 4D AP. A 3D being wouldnt be capable of Interacting with spacetime because it's a 4th dimensional construct, there are different types of non physical interaction, for example physically interacting with someones mind and physically interacting with ghosts. It was also Stated By Sitch that the only reason blast was able to battle with god was because he had the ability to manipulate spacetime, no other S class hero having the means to do such a thing, implying God is also Higher Dimensional.

They are only intangibly spiritual not higher dimensional. Even DB characters can affect these things. And once again their serious punch squared would have destroyed their universe if they were 4D.

The short answer is "No." Goku violates Saitama and it's not even close, I'm all for waiting until Saitama gets more feats so that this will be a discussion worth having.
Yeah Goku one shots unfortunately. The only chance Saitama has is if he gets better feats MAYBE against God in the OPM verse, but even then that fight is likely a long ways away from happening and we still don't know the scale of the fight. It may surpass complex multi, or it may only end up being like uni-uni+

Sometimes you see him pat his wife on the shoulder and she goes flying but then you see him get hurt by a rock while off guard. That’s cause they can lower their Ki, heard this from another analysis

Unless there's something wrong with the translations, this means that Saitama is passively growing (could be either multiplicative or linear, I'm personally more on the multiplicative side because of bias), but that growth became exponential due to emotions.

Good vid, but shouldn't the speed feat where Goku and Pikkon flew from Daikaiou planet to hell be infinite speed, since that'd be traveling an infinite distance in a finite amount of time? I think that calc should hold if only you consider the afterlife finite, but I never liked that speed feat anyway, I guess it's because it's from the filler, though Pikkon is mentioned during the fight with Kid Buu which can potentially make him canon to the anime, it just feels weird . I like Gas flying through space in 20 minutes a lot better though the exact distance is unknown but scaling it from Goku's range teleportation is it should be at least a greater distance than from Beerus' world to the Kaioushin realm since Goku can teleport between these dimensions and yet couldn't warp directly to planet Cereal, meaning he could lock on ki signatures of anyone who's in planet Cereal, Gas started tracking Goku's ki signatures before he was even back on planet Cereal but couldn't lock on them because Goku was already far, therefore Gas's 20 minutes flight should be an undisputed infinite speed.

Some people say Saber is outer but they use evidence that consists of finite dimensional feats which isn’t even high hyper. Saber is probably at least about 12D which is still far beyond anything canon Goku can do but becomes a little questionable when it comes to CC and Xeno Goku. Any level of infinite dimensional is high hyper although inaccessible dimensional is straight up larger than infinite dimensional to the point of making infinite indistinguishable from zero which should probably make inaccessible and immeasurable dimensional their own tiers. Even low outer is at bare minimum irrelevant dimensional which surpasses dimensions as a concept and makes any finite or infinite dimensional power even less than nothing in comparison.

- Saitama saying he was Using full power was immediately disproven in the next chapter when not only did he get stronger due to his limitless potential, he admits that he was never going to kill garou because of his promise to Tareo(kid who liked garou). Not to mention Saitama before this chapter says he doesn’t know how strong he is
- Garou saying saitama is “limitlessly strong” wouldn’t be an overstatement or Garou “not knowing” since Cosmic Fear Garou has an understanding of all flows of energy in the universe (which allowed him to even copy techniques that warped reality.
-Unlike Saitama, Perfect Cell has no proof of actually having infinite power, and was most likely him talking out of his butt like most cocky villains in Dragon Ball. Like how Frieza in DBZ was saying he was the strongest in the Universe (he obviously wasn’t and he knew it apparently).
-you said a gag character is someone who’s unbelievably powerful for comedic affect. Isn’t that exactly what Saitama is? I’m confused on why people think a gag character has to be funny 100% of the time or else it isn’t a gag. Saitama strength and feats don’t match up to what he did to get there, but he says that’s all he did. Because I’m honestly curious how people see saitama sneeze away Jupiter, fart himself faster than light, and physically move intangible portals with no context as to why and say he isn’t a gag.

Yusuke Murata (artist of manga) is an amazing artist to put it lightly and you can tell the difference between marks of impact, and blood. When the fight ended between Garou and Saitama, you can see where Garou had been hit, and you can see where he was bleeding, however saitama did not have any traces of blood on him whatsoever. I’ve seen so many people try to downplay saitama by pulling panels with those same marks of impact and saying it was blood, when those same marks were used even during the Boros fight in the anime, and we know saitama didn’t bleed there.

Then he had to retreat and win multiple times until he reached UI, even when he reached that domain, it’s barely didn’t work. So he had to master it. But Saitama is a different situation because Garou had help from a higher entity, known as God. but even with God’s help, he was still inferior to Saitama because he slapped God hand. Also I don’t think Saitama even has a “full power” because Saitama stated when he was talking to King that his serious punches are normal punches and as Dr Geous or whatever his name is explained that Saitama keeps on growing which he called the Limiter Theory.

I mean we really haven't seen Saitama full power. Satiama said garou could " take a punch and stay standing" whilest fighting with ONE arm. It just isn't fair to compare them as of now until opm progresses more.
Did you read the manga? Saitama had to grow stronger to defeat Garou. Even in the graph it shows him and Garou having comparable strength. And is after he grew stronger that he was able to dominate him. So yes we have seen him in full power and for now at least, he isn't even close to touching goku. If Goku is a 100 then saitama is a 0.00001 in comparison (being generous to saitama)

@@callisto1796 what are you talking about? Who copies stats? Tell me where in the manga does it day that either goku or saitama (legit idk who you talking about) says he copies stats. Both goku and Saitama has been shown to learn techniques (or copy them) extremely fast. Saitama with garou and goku has various examples like the Kamehameha after seeing it one time and recreating it immediately or learning various martial arts techniques after seeing them being performed.
