It’s odd how people never talk about the feats done in dragon ball and just early z. I mean both roshi and piccolo destroyed the moon on separate occasions, goku countered a blast that would have destroyed the planet if he lost the clash, fought people who could level not just cities but planets… and now he’s thousands of times stronger than that. Is this even a debate? 😂

Goku vs The Big 3 is like Goku vs those random criminals with guns. He'd hold back so much that he actually gets hurt by them, and then he just slightly raises his power level and flicks them all to death

Kinda like that first fight we see with Goku Black and Trunks, where as soon as Trunks goes super saiyan and punches him just hard enough in the stomach, Black raises his power level and breaks Trunks's arm.

If Goku were to meet them I can guarantee the things he would say to them:
He would comment how Ichigo and Future Trunks would get along purely because they have swords.
Would say how Naruto's KCM, Six Paths Mode(If we give it to him here), and his Baryon mode resemble super saiyan.
Then with Luffy, he'd either be confused as hell by literally anything Luffy does, or say how he reminds him of Buu, Bergamo(If he even remembers him), or Piccolo.
He'd be like a kid in a candy store just seeing all these characters and their super unique moves.

It's also to note that with every battle Goku's base power get's stronger and this is the most important part of it all. All the other transformations are either Multipliers or in the case for MUI it's unlocking technique in it's most efficient.
So really given enough time Goku would really just clown over everyone else without really needing to transform at all. Even if you *do* somehow even push Goku to go to SSJ that is a MASSIVE 50x boost to his base. Seriously.......how do people think Luffy of all people could keep up lol (Goku just needs to instant transmission him into the sea)

People are forgetting the key factor with Goku; he would honestly probably LOVE to train with Ichigo, Naruto, and Luffy, and to see how strong THEY could get. It wouldn't be about if HE would be able to beat THEM, but *when* THEY would be able to beat HIM. He loves fighting stronger people, so seeing already strong in their own right fighters, it just falls into place.

@@Belphemon1 Ichigo’s attacks don’t always directly kill souls, especially since Ichigo himself holds back against foes he knows aren’t evil. Even if he did go all out, Goku’s got some resistances to soul attacks that go as back as King Piccolo era Dragon Ball, so he’ll be fine even if Ichigo goes all out.

For those who will bring up the cross over!!! I say this Goku was heavily NERFED on that one but even so Goku would have easilly won those. He was so fast that he had time to INSTANTANEOUSLY move and then come back at the middle of the race!!!! Yeah!!!Baryon mode is useless here unless you want Naruto to die? In the original Dragon Ball series, by the time Goku entered his first tournament, most of the guys were capable of moving faster than the eye could follow. Krillin and Roshi had time to play countless games of rock, paper, scissors mid clash at one stage and most of the audience had no clue what happened.
Goku was faster than that by the end of the first series. By the time we get to the Namek saga, he well and truly speed blitzes all three, and thats without his first Super Saiyan form.
And also hit literally can stop time yet there's a few fighter in ToP that can counter that
There's actually a much better argument for that based on the filler training shown between the King Piccolo Saga and the third WMAT against Piccolo. Goku is seen actively training to move faster than lightning, with it being possible that he was FTL by the time Raditz showed up, since he was still above Piccolo, who had kept training between DB and DBZ.
Goku was also able to take roshi’s shades and put them on before the solar flare could hit his eyes and roshi didn’t even notice until he saw goku standing there with them😂

What's funny is that, we don't often think how strong Goku really is. We just see stuff from the series and that's it. In reality, Goku is way beyond anything the big 3 has to offer. In battle of GODS, Goku was beyond universal. Back in the buu saga, Buuhan lost it and he was destroying the fabric of reality with just his ki.
Why think about how strong he he is when it doubles every arc for no reason. Its just lazy writing.

Imagine this took place in the bleach verse, because of spiritual pressure in there, the big 3's body's would get crushed to an oblivion by just z Goku being in the same solar system.
Chakra is part physical and part spiritual energy, Naruto's be fine even if the top tiers are around.
And while spiritual pressure and gravity are different Goku should have enough experience with the later to withstand the former.
And Haki gives plenty of ridiculous resistance's so an argument for luffy could be made.

You don’t even need Goku. You just need a Goku with stage 4 cancer, Blinded, hearing impaired, missing an arm and two legs, and has no hair just for the fun of it.
His ki sensing helps him cancel out the blindness and hearing loss. He can fly so he doesn’t need legs. We’ve seen Super saiyan Gohan go toe to toe with Android 17 and 18 with one arm both should be relative to their other timeline counterparts. Then we get to stage 4 cancer and I mean Goku was tanking hits from android 20 and 19 even while weakened from the heart virus. Those androids being able to go toe to toe with Piccolo fused with nail who should be stronger than Final form Frieza and 1st form Frieza was able to destroy entire planets with ease and said to destroy the universe at his full power.
So yeah. Disabled Goku solos your favorite character besides high multiversal characters because those bastards are cheating anyways.

I feel like there's a few things people always forget when it comes to dragon ball and how it's power system works. If you're strong, you just nullify anything that someone weaker than you can throw. Including hax. If you're strong enough you also just nullify reality, like super buu and gotenks screaming holes into reality to travel dimensions, or that whole thing with the gogeta vs broly fight. Goku may not be the strongest in his verse, but the dbz verse itself is nutty, and it'll take a lot to even take down weaker characters in the verse.

Man is being SO generous with luffy there, I'm an avid one piece fan, like BIG time, but saying he's star level just sounds downright ridiculous, If the one piece world was that large, you'd have to completely ignore basic physics so that we can ignore the necessary gravity of such a massive world, but even so, you put someone like luffy on earth, i just can't even remotely imagine him having the power to blow it up, let alone a STAR. Not to mention, compared to the size of the islands, wouldn't this also imply that luffy himself was gigantic? because he would have to be along with anyone else to even survive the immense gravity of a star sized planet.
His geometry does imply an Earth sized world. If the gravity were solar level, we'd see bug and slug protagonists.

the funny thing about buu saga goku scaling for speed is that they weren't expecting buu to reach them in the kaioshin realm via instant transformation, and the kaioshin realm isn't even considered a temporal realm and is of higher dimensions
Lmao, I can’t believe I misspelled Transmission somehow, but one thing worth noting is that if we claim Kid Buu could get there via Vice Shout, Kid Buu would need to at least be comparable to SS3 Gotenks to work, which would correspond with the V Jump about Goku’s strength, and various statements related to Goku’s power from Piccolo’s suspicions, Vegeta’s assessment, and Goku’s admission of a One Minute Ki Accumulated SS3 in spite of his living body’s nerfs in tandem with the fact Goku needed to buy time for Trunks.
Thus numerically this would make him over half of Buuhan with a massive power drain if we were to go that route instead with the bif caveat being he wouldn’t be able to outpace the regen of Super Buu if he even got the one minute to power up against the impatient Buu (and it’s the same reason Goku would still be weaker than Gohan overall)
Note: that Super Buu explicitly has a form designed for combat compared to other forms
All this would mean is that Goku is a lot stronger narratively without any real contradictions unless we believe one minute charge just restores him to full power (Goku already tried to nuke Kid Buu early on, he failed) when this occurs after Vegeta says Goku is stronger than he thinks

*Side tangent:* Goku is surprised to see an SS2 Vegeta but agreed that both him and Vegeta could beat Dabura/Super Perfect Cell easily, unlike SS2 Gohan at the time. And Goku is unimpressed with Goten & Trunks’s full power which would at least compare to Cell Juniors and are seen as the last hopes to Piccolo before even witnessing it and learning of the Dance…. And Vegeta is fully aware of how strong Piccolo was in the Cell Saga but agreed to not use SS against him + Gohan likely was stronger than Freeza in base before the Time Chamber back then after the narrative surrounding 3 years of training unlike Krillin & Tien (they couldn’t scratch a door Vegeta bombed easily when chasing Gero) and that RoF Gohan was STILL stronger than Piccolo in base

It was stated somewhere that the sheer power of Goku's punches with Beerus were tearing the universe apart. I haven't watched enough Bleach or Naruto, but I'm caught up on one piece, and I can proudly say, that Luffy is strong, but he literally can't blow up the moon in a punch.

I dont understand why such debates even exist. All I remember about DBZ when I watched it as a kid was that they casually used to blow up planets. Never seen anything like that in One Piece or Naruto. More information is not needed to come to a conclusion.
I'd love to see the next Jump game's opening be The Big 3 vs Goku. Can the big 3 of the modern generation take on the one who paved the way for Shounen Jump.
Something to note as well is that in the Saiyan Saga it is shown that even Yamcha and a Saibaman are moving faster than the naked eye can detect. At Power levels of presumably 1,500 according to Daizenshuu 7. Goku was significantly stronger than that as of his fight with Vegeta and presumably faster as in the DBZ universe speed and power are directly correlated. So yeah. Goku would be incredibly hard to hit in the Saiyan Saga, let alone at the end of Buu.

This is sort of what happened in a special crossover event episode actually. Goku left mid match to save the earth and came back to continue.
I can at least understand arguments for them being able to hold their own (or even defeat) Goku at various points during the series (particularly DB or early DBZ), but I'm legitimately baffled that anyone would seriously reach the DBS era and actually argue that they could even touch the man in a fight unless he was just letting them do it to test their power. Don't know much about OP or Boruto, but as much as I loved most of Naruto and Bleach, there's just no real comparison to be made here.
The only thing I can think of to even make these fights particularly interesting would be to equalize all their stats and look at who the most skilled fighter was, rather than who's more powerful.

I would agree with Naruto and Luffy getting done easily by Goku...but not Ichigo. Ichigo killed a character that transcends time, I believe he could win against Goku.
The reason?
Goku's abilities hasn't changed much even after Ultra Instinct. I've heard there's a new ability in the manga but nothing in the anime as of yet. Other than his usual attacks and his increased power - he's the same. Ichigo has so many techniques in his repertoire and he has essentially reached godhood.

There's also the simple fact of people with mental attacks and that can control others, unless it's a physical attack that can control Goku's body it won't do much because even if his mind was sealed away somehow, his physical body would still be moving on it's own with Ultra Instinct, so it absolutely kills many many tactics many can do... although not yet done in the series to my knowledge it would be an interesting battle to see as we know Z fighters are absolutely always training their minds too.

Goku is easily galaxy level and unfortunately the entire 40k verse takes place in one galaxy.
The thing that’s sad is that the goku and rock incident the only reason he got hurt was because he has ki control pretty much meaning that he has control over how strong he is so that’s why he took damage form that bullet because he lowered his power level so he didn’t kill them on accident

Those kinds of feats are misleading, as the human eye cannot reliably track anything moving above mach 3 to mach 4. The USAF did tests on it in the late 90s and early 2000s, and should be reasonably easy to find online. Dodging light is a clear indicator of speed, but faster than the eye can track isn't hugely accurate.

Because Goku CAN travel faster than the speed of light, but luffy can’t. I'm quite confident that Sengokus statement about Edward having the power to destroy the world, is very literal.
The power, refering to the Gura Gura no mi, being able to produce large scale earthquakes at will, where and how he wants to. If anyone, Sengoku, his enemy at the time, should have no reason to lie to hype him up, but make his soldier aware of the danger he poses. Sengoku is also one of the stronger/strongest in the verse, so if anyone would know anything in regards to the limits of a character strength, it would be him. Not that it makes any difference for the Goku fight though, it doesnt.
I don’t necessarily disagree but something I just can’t get passed is how would sengoku even know how much power it would take to “destroy the world” also it’s not like he needed to lie as you said but I think sengoku’s statement says more about how infamous and powerful white beard and the gura gura no mi were seen and not necessarily a measure of actual attack damage.
I have 2 reasons for saying that
1) if white beard could destroy the world w the gura gura no mi, how wasn’t akainu literally obliterated after white beard punched him
2) the gura gura no mi is considered the most powerful devil fruit but the devil fruit with the highest attack damage is actually the magu magu no mi which would be a direct contradiction with the story if the gura gura no mi actually had the power to destroy worlds- which leads me to believe that Oda was just trying to create suspense and hype for white beard’s final fight. If you’ve made it this far I just want to say I don’t think white beard is weak or that the gura gura no mi isn’t op but one piece just isn’t the kind of anime where characters would have the power to destroy the worlds

Goku suffers from the same issue as Superman. Their creators have been powerscaling them so ridiculously, that its not even fun to compare them to anyone else anymore. Its not really fair to put two character against each other, when the creator of one gives him a new power up thats 10x stronger than the last every 3 months.

After the worlds merge there won't be a boundary (garganta) so it will technically be gone. Plus the merge was the result of the linchpin being removed which would result in the soul society being destroyed (the planet) and the world merge.
